Sirromet - A Day on the Green
We had our best concert experience yet. Our son is in a wheelchair and we usually get forgotten and struggle at events. This event however, we were treated so beautifully by all the staff and we got through the gates easily and were supported to sit in a spot where our son could actually see. Such an amazing performance by Missy Higgins and I will be going to more events at this venue in the future. Thank you Sirromet for your customer service and care.

      Disappointing 60th birthday experience!
Disappointing 60th Birthday Experience at Sirromet! I had high hopes for my 60th birthday at Sirromet, but the experience was disappointing to say the least. We stayed at the Pavilion Villas for two nights (11/10 and 12/10) and despite my husband informing Jenny about the milestone (she was lovely), there was NO acknowledgment from any staff member over the course of our stay. Dinner at the Tuscan Terrace on 11/10 was poorly handled. The mains arrived before the starter, and although the starter was removed from the bill, it ruined the experience. Worse, my niece had arranged to pay for the meal as a birthday surprise, but the restaurant never informed us or acted on it. When I raised this with the receptionist (after my niece called to ask if I’d enjoyed her “surprise birthday present”) his indifference was shocking. We had a spaghetti dish each; the portions were small, and they had run out of basic items like chili flakes, even though only three tables were occupied in the entire restaurant. The following day, we requested a wine tour, but the (same) receptionist didn’t bother checking if we could be accommodated, simply stating we should have booked 24 hours in advance. On 12/10, we returned to the Tuscan Terrace (the only dinner option) and waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged and/or seated. Service was slightly better, but only after I mentioned the previous night’s debate and the waitress made the effort to ensure our starter came before our mains. Breakfast both mornings was also disorganized, with incorrect items arriving at our table and staff appearing uninterested. We were not greeted on entry or exit, although there was an elderly gentleman at the service door he acted like we were invisible when we departed! We requested a late checkout on Sunday but were only given an hour extra, which felt stingy given our arrival time on the Friday was 6pm. The customer service lacked warmth across the board, with not a single smile, or acknowledgment/greeting, from staff over two days. I have yet to be wished by any of your staff…well I would’ve accepted and expected at least a smile or a cordial greeting. But it appears this is not something any of your staff have been trained to do. Sirromet, you need to do a massive clean up; your beautiful surroundings will not suffice on their own for much longer, and this is a tip from someone who has been in hospitality for over three decades. You need to get rid of all your staff and recruit a new lot of customer orientated individuals, or re-train them on soft skills and the basics of customer service. Put people in charge who are role models and hold your staff in every outlet accountable. Our experience across all of Sirromet was the same…from your retail outlet, bar, restaurant, reception. It was unwelcoming, impersonal, unfriendly, disorganized….”couldn’t give a crap” appeared to be the name of the game! Sirromet, what does it take to get good service here? Do I need to arrive by helicopter or spend millions in your wine club? Would love to know before considering a revisit! And did I even mention the lack of attention to details spans even their website (see attached). Since when did the 11th of October 2024 become a TUESDAY? I should know….that was my disappointing birthday dining experience at Sirromet, which was a FRIDAY! Enough said!!!

      cafe and wine Tasting
Had an incredible experience at Sirromet’s wine tasting! Bojan provided outstanding service, offering a knowledgeable and engaging introduction to each wine. His passion and expertise truly enhanced the tasting, making it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend Sirromet and Bojan for a top-notch wine journey! The scones are also really good in the cellar door cafe, also amazing service!

      Divine food and wine
We went in September and did a wine tasting at the cellar door before lunch at the Tuscan Terrace. The service was fantastic. We tasted 6 different wines at the cellar door, they were all lovely. Lunch at the Tuscan Terrace was divine. I had the octopus, and my husband had the meatballs, delicious. Highly recommend. I am very much a white drinker and my husband a red drinker, there were a range of wines for each of us to enjoy.

Excellent Winery & Wines & staff
Not far from Brisbane, the Sirromet Winery is a great way to pass time and enjoy a great selection of wines. Our guide Neil, proved a wealth of knowledge, and an easy chat, everything that I tasted was very nice, but the Signature Collection Merlot & Cabernets were exceptional, as was the Clyde Tawny .

      Beautiful winery with lovely staff
Me and my friends had a great experience at Sirromet. We had lunch and sat outside to do some wine tasting. All the staff were really friendly. The assistant manager Robert was amazing, he went out of his way to ensure we had a good experience. Thank you Robert !

      End result - dissapointement
Bought a winery tour with tasting and 3 course dinner for two on red balloon. The winery tour itself was very interesting, tasting was fine too. Although the dinner was absolute shambles. We were waiting for our starters for over an hour (we ordered burrata-this is for reference as it does not require any cooking) so no excuse really, apart from the fact they just forgot the order, alright happens, we got complimentary glass of wine which was nice. My friend ordered a fish, I had a steak which I ordered to be cooked medium, unfortunately it came well done and instead of an apology I get "chef considers this to be medium, and if you want anything less cooked you'll have to order medium-rare", so I did, and of course it came medium-rare, which I didn't appreciate but didn't complain anymore as it was useless. Also have to say that both fish and steak were oversalted and almost uneadable, but then again for the same reasons I didn't complain. The dessert at least was good. We were both very dissapointed in the service that chef provided. It seems like he cannot take any healthy criticism and improve based on it. We will not be back, this experience wasn't worth the money.

      Terrible
Wow what an experience, locals trying to support local business. Unfriendly staff, cold coffee, stale scones, and to top it off mix up with order. Staff need training in people skills. Sorry. It won’t be back.

      A day on the green.
We attended the James Taylor concert on Sunday and paid a very large amount for tickets to the Garden Bar. We attended the James Taylor concert there a few years ago and had a great experience, however this time was very different. The last time we attended we had finger food first and then a large buffet. We sat out on the deck and watched the concert. Due to the weather we had to sit inside but if anyone tried to take a chair outside we were immediately stopped. When the food came, it was extremely disappointing and just finger food, they even served party pies and there was no hot food served either. We paid a great deal of money to sit inside and eat finger food. Very disappointed

      ☹️
A friend took me to breakfast for my birthday. We had been looking forward to it unfortunately the experience was less than satisfactory. Ordered Eggs Benedict. It was presented poorly and was lukewarm. We had to get up and ask for pepper and salt. The ciabatta bread was supposed to be toasted it wasn’t so once eggs soaked into it all we got was soggy bread. Yuck. Ordered coffee hot but again not hot enough. Sugar sachets were placed on the table but we then had to ask for spoons. One positive the staff were polite but inexperienced.

      Kinda Disappointing
The facilities are OK, but have an institutional feel. There is a winery on site, but not a functioning vineyard - all the grapes are trucked in from a couple hundred kilometers to the west. We skipped the tour we scheduled as we didn't especially like the wines, and there is little to see on the property. The experience was further diminished by the lack of operational wi-fi anywhere on the property.

      Walk in Wine Tasting
We had an enjoyable experience wine tasting here on a weekday in January. The views from the winery are pleasant and wines of a reasonable quality although none of the grapes were produced in the vicinity of the winery, but in other parts of Australia owned by the same company.

A chance visit to the Sirromet winery today turned into such a pleasant experience for our family. We had an early lunch at the Tuscan Terrace and the experience was out of this world.
We were so well taken care of by the attentive staff, the beer and wine were superlative, the food was sublime and the view is spectacular. A bit of a drive but well worth it. Recommend that you book a table under the tree on a hot day. The view is still as good but it is nice and cool

We went to Sirromet Winery for our 53rd wedding anniversary, we stayed the night in the chalets. When we arrived at our room there was a voucher for a wine tasting in the cellar door room , which was a lovely surprise and most appreciated.
We had dinner in the restaurant that night and breakfast was delivered to our chalet in the morning. The next day we then did a winery tour, tasting, and a 2 course lunch.
We could not fault any part of this experience, and truly loved it.
We will definitely be going back and won’t wait for an anniversary to do so, it is something we will do “ just because we can”

This was Fathers’ Day present and we had a great tour led by Cordelia (I think) followed by 2 course lunch. The wine tasting was very informative and expansive enough to taste/consider/discuss six wines. For both of us, lunch was the salmon which was superb. We had never been here before and liked the different options available, lunch on the Terrace, inside or under the trees, under umbrellas or on the grass, or even something over at the Cellar Door, listening to live music. It prompted us to check their website and we are heading to Crowded House on the Green next weekend. It was a great afternoon.

Lovely relaxed comprehensive informative winery tour. Very nice 2 course lunch with a glass of wine also included. Our setting o erloking the green area surrounded by lavender in bloom was such a wonderful setting reminded us of our visit to Italy. We enjoyed our entrees, sharing fresh toasted sour dough, 4 slices, with generous serve rosemary butter and crumbed garlic/ chilli olives with aoli...simply delicious!
Main course tomato linguine and hubby had tuscan lamb and fetta pizza. A real treat and we shall return.

We visited your Tuscan terrace restaurant on December the 20th lunch for a Christmas party...food was good although the staff had no idea of anything ran out of Pino grigio Prosseco and even Sav Blanc not very good for Christmas festive season
    This is a winery
Also while having lunch all you could smell was the septic from the rest rooms not what I would have expected

Very enjoyable experience. I booked a 3-hour winery tour, tasting and 2-course lunch via Viator, and everything was excellent. Rina was an excellent and lovely host. I had their Wagyu beef burger for lunch which was excellent. The winery tour was interesting and informative, and the wine tasting was better than I had expected, especially for Queensland wines. I really enjoyed their Signature Collection sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay, and I also liked their Private Collection Clyde NV Tawny dessert wine. The other wines were just average, in my view. The winery is a peaceful, serene place with beautiful views and very friendly and helpful staff. There is plenty of interesting wildlife around, too. I recommend this tour to others; although it would be better if they offered a shuttle service from the city. But, since they don't, your best bet is to take bus 555 from the city to the Loganholme Bus Station, then catch an Uber or Didi from there to the Winery Cellar Door. It will save you about AUD $25 each way as opposed to taking a taxi the entire way from the city. Enjoy!
