Highlights
    What to Expect
Make your way to Point Reyes Station, a little more than an hour’s drive north from San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge and through the rolling hills of Marin County. Meet your guide, a local certified chef, at Tomales Bay Foods and kick off your tour with some delicious cheese-stuffed pastries from Bovine Bakery. Here, you’ll also visit the Cowgirl Creamery for a taste of signature cheeses like creamy Mt. Tam or unique Red Hawk.

Climb aboard a comfortable minivan and make your way through the scenic countryside while learning about Marin’s gourmet history from your guide. Stop at two more artisanal creameries for a behind-the-scenes tour of the facilities to learn how your favorite cheeses are crafted and aged. Taste creamy goat cheese, nutty sheep cheese, and robust blue cheese.

On the farms, wander around with the farmers and pet the sheep, goats, and cows. Soak up the glorious scenery and savor the farm-fresh flavors of Marin with a gourmet picnic lunch right on the farm (see Itinerary for a sample menu). Your tour concludes back at Tomales Bay Foods in the afternoon.
