My wife and I had a wonderful time on a full-day wine tasting tour with our guide Tony and one other couple. We visited 4 wineries, and Wine Wrangler provided us a small picnic lunch. We especially appreciated that Tony was able to pick us up near our accommodations, which were a little outside of Paso Robles. He was an engaging and informative guide and had many things to share about the local region and its winemakers. We'd recommend Wine Wrangler tours to people who are looking to experience Paso Robles without having to make individual reservations for each tasting and without the responsibility of driving yourself.

This was our second time visiting Paso Robles and first time on a wine tour. We had a wonderful time on our day tour with Tony. We were picked up from our hotel promptly and spent the day with another couple and a mother daughter team. We all had a blast with Tony, our tour guide. He provided us with information about each winery we visited, oftentimes sharing many interesting tidbits that only people who actually have a personal relationship and mutual respect for the small community with which they reside. We were provided a delicious lunch of roast beef or turkey sandwiches, carrot sticks, pasta salad and a cookie. Water was offered frequently and he made sure to take good care of us all day. His knowledge of the wine making process was exceptional and you can really tell that Tony enjoys his job meeting new people. Wineries visited were Tobin James, Steinbeck, Windward and Croad. All were uniquely different and offered a glimpse into the intricacies involved in producing excellent wines and the potential issues that Mother Nature can deliver positively or negatively. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tour and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to just sit back and relax in an air conditioned van, sip away and leave the rest to Tony!

This was a great way to experience Paso Robles wine country. With over 350 wineries its very daunting to try to determine where to go, best route and schedule appointments at each site. With this tour all of the hassle is removed and you get to visit 4 wineries with diverse selections, excellent accommodations and superb service. Our guide was very personable and had a wealth of knowledge about the area, wineries and process which he readily shared throughout the day filling in the gaps between tastings. We would definitely book with this tour and guide again!

Be aware of cancellation fees! We cancelled four days in advance and they still charged $ 30 for the cancellation. Supposedly it said so in the fine print (who has time to read that?), but it did not spell it out in the confirmation. They did offer to changed the date 1 x gratis, but that did not work for us.
There response was "If you did not read them before checking the T&C box (see your reservation confirmation) to complete your reservation, please do not blame us."
That to me is not smart customer service.
We do not recommend them.

Our our Wine Wrangler experience started with two couples getting picked up from the front door of our hotel, La Bellasera. Our Driver and tour guide, Peter was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We visited four wineries that were approximately within a three mile radius of our hotel. The cost was $636 for four people and additional tasing fees: Peach Canyon $12 pp waived with a bottle of wine purchase; Castoro $20 pp waived with a $50 wine purchase; Summer Wood$40 pp waived with a bottle of wine purchase and Hunts had no tasting fee. Lunch was supposed to be included but there was one lunch missing so our group had to share. I would recommend catching an Uber and visiting the winery and saving $600.

Do not go with Mike. I expected this tour to practice the minimum Covid safety practices of requiring passengers to wear a mask in the van - but even our tour guide, Mike, was not wearing a mask! Also, they booked us as one group at every winery, so instead of allowing separate parties on the same tour to enjoy the experience separately we were forced to hangout and sit next to the strangers on our tour for hours while sipping wine. If one of these fellow passengers had Covid I certainly would have it by now. And, we did not get any wine knowledge from this tour. Mike didn’t speak a word all day. Even the other passengers, who I didn’t care for, remarked on how odd it was we didn’t learn anything from the tastings. In fact, Mike hadn’t even been to any of the four wineries we went to! I think you would be better off Ubering between wineries rather than doing this tour.

Lisa did an excellent job inquiring about our preferences and making the required reservations and keeping us well informed about our Wine Tour. Paula, our driver, was very friendly and made us feel at ease being our first time touring in Paso Robles. She did an excellent job getting us to our wineries and made the journey a fun and enjoyable outing. We will definitely book again with Wine Wrangler as there are a vast number of wineries still to visit in Paso Robles. Thanks Lisa & Paula!!

We got picked up from our hotel by Pete and Keith. Our first stop was Zenaida Cellars. The owner was really great and explained the history of their winery and how their wines were made. We took home a bottle of the Knucklehead. The second stop we had was at the SummerWood. The view of the winery was beautiful and we also had our lunches there. Pete and Keith provided us with a deli lunch that was delicious. For the third stop, we went to Castoro. Our host there was very informative and hilarious. She told us the backstory of the winery and how the winery got its name. The winery was absolutely gorgeous going up the walkway and looking upon the vineyard. We took home two bottles, the Trentotto and Moscato. The last stop we had was at the Riboli Family. We enjoyed some of the Stella Rosa wines and even took home three bottles, Lemon Lime. We would absolutely go back and ask for Pete and Keith again! They were absolutely fun to be with. They informed us on all the winery’s, the proper way to taste wine, and even chit chatted with us throughout the day. They were amazing!

What a great way to make new friends and learn about the wine, and not have to drive! Our driver Pete was super knowledgeable, a local who’s lived there his whole life, and had so much to share. There was a mix of people on our van and we got along with all of them! All different walks of life and a total blast. Our driver was flexible and when we stayed too long at the first three wineries, he asked if we wanted to keep the tour going and hit up the fourth one, or just keep hanging where we were. Loved the flexibility! We will definitely do this again.

Went on a half day tour this past weekend with my girlfriend. Tony from wine wranglers picked us up from our Hotel at 1030am. Tony definitely made the entire experience a memorable one for us both. He was VERY knowledgeable and had an extremely welcoming personality. He took us to 3 awesome wineries where we had tastings and learned about the history of Paso Robles. Absolutely i would recommend booking a tour and requesting Tony as your guide, you wont be disappointed!
