About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Christine G0 contributionsDo NOT purchase this!!!!We’ve booked several Trip Advisor experiences over the years and this was by far the worst, most misrepresented excursion we’ve experienced! The trip description described a “private tour” with a guide. It was actually an App that you download for FREE! A total misrepresentation, $30 for nothing!!Written 2 November 2024
- eyohonjr0 contributionsDisappointing ExperienceThe tour downloaded easily to my iPhone and we started it at the starting point. As we drove down CA-1, we lost connectivity. The app couldn’t guide us to the stops. We tried using the app’s get directions and manually navigating. I still don’t know if the app was running in offline mode or not. There are NO signs on most of the stops so there was no way to know if we were at the correct location for the audio. Most of the stops involve just pulling off CA-1 somewhere. We missed at least 75% of the stops. At stop #10, there was a gate blocking us from getting to the stop. There is a sign instructing the traveler to call a number. It is an automated number with confusing options. I didn’t even know if they would open it as part of our tour. We never got in to see the lighthouse. We have used these tours before and really liked self-driving tours. I just wouldn’t recommend this one.Written 22 October 2024
- Cmooremem0 contributionsGreat Experience with Pintours audio for 17-mile drive. The audio was informative and kept our attention. The GPS directions were superb! I look forward to booking another tour with Pintours!Written 8 October 2024
- Tipton H0 contributionsJust Don't!We quit after stop #4. Very frustrating app to follow. I was sharing with my spouse and had the volume up which was very irritating to those around us. The walking directions are very confusing.Written 31 August 2024
- rappfamily20150 contributionsGreat girls tripThis was a girls trip with our teenage daughters and was wonderful. The view was spectacular. The only issue we had was a volunteer that was extremely rude.Written 23 June 2024
- travel L0 contributionsGreat value for a fun tourThe tour is fun, and enjoyable. I recommend setting up the app before arriving to the location, because it can get tricky to figure out as driving. Overall the tour goes in depth on the history of the 17 mile drive and stops at each notable location.Written 6 January 2024

Quaint seaside town. Many good restaurants. Seeing Morro Rock is amazing. Loved the gift boutique The Poppy. There is a nice walk right along the waterfront.
