We had a great time with Osing. Benn, the owner, was really communicative and organised everything without fuss - including when I got my dates wrong and he had to rearrange at short notice. We had a great trip to Kawah Ijen, guided really well by Zayn, who even had an amazing surprise for us at the end of the day (which I won’t spoil for anyone else he guides). Benn then personally sorted out a transfer for us at significantly less than the price our hotel suggested. Benn’s father was a sulphur miner, and much of what Osing do supports and regenerates the local area. He trains, employs and supports miners and their families, and we were really glad to be with him and his team. Kawah Ijen itself was one of the most extraordinary things we’ve seen. Well worth the trip.

We had a fantastic adventure visiting Sukamade. The bumpy ride in the Jeep was an adventure in itsself, including river crossings. The accomodations in the park are very simple and will put many European guests far outside their comfort zone, but seeing the turtles at night was something we and our kids will never forget. Everyone in the park is super nice. The rangers speak good English and has a lot of information about the turtles. Our guide Toulouse was a treasure. He is really nice and easy going, speaks very good English and gave us a lot of insights into the country and its customs and day to day life. He also went out of his way to accomodate our every need, which was hard at times, given that our daughter is a vegetarian and non-spicy vegetarian dishes are not the pillar of indonesian cuisine. The drivers hired by the company were also super friendly, we always felt in good hands. Our Jeep Driver Rudi cooked riverside coffee for us, which was very special for us.

Amazing tour with a really great guide, and top-notch service. Not only, you get an excellent service during the tour, communication, etc., but you get to know insights on the culture, living conditions of the population, and that special extra that you get from sharing with locals.

We went both to Sukamade turtle beach overnight and to Kawah ijen with our fantastic guide Cung. Would recommend highly both tours and definitely doing them with Osing vacation. Cung was a great guide, kind, caring, considerate and knowledgable, enjoyed spending time with him and a little sad to say goodbye. At turtle beach we saw a female Green turtle laying eggs before covering her nest and making her way back into the sea, then the next morning got to release newly hatched turtles into the sea, not just watching but actually given around 20 turtles each to release. Something else to see the animal instinct of a one day old hatchling make their way into the crashing surf. Next day to ijen for a dawn descent into the crater. No words to describe the range of sights, sounds, smells and emotions involves, just do it, and do it with a guide, both for the safety, but also for the wealth of information that you cannot read…

One of the best things we did while our travels. We stayed at osing vacation and did the ijen tour with the waterfall afterwards. The Homestay is very traditional and we felt very comfortable and well welcomed there! The traditional Indonesian breakfast we got after the tour was amazing! I unfortunately forgot the name of our tourguide but he was amazing!! He was a former worker at the sulfur mining, so he knew a lot about the area and the people working there. You should never miss ijen if your in jawa! We saw the blue fire and amazing landscapes! We felt very safe and the tourguide was always looking after us. We learned a lot about the sulfur mining and with taking the tour you really help people to get out of the really bad working conditions of sulfur mining. We would really recommend you to ask Benn (the host) and your tourguide about his story and his work, it was very interesting to hear and learn about the sulfur mining. So the money you spend for the tour helps him with his charity work! The service was really good, pick up and drop off worked all good and the waterfall after the ijen hike was really refreshing!

This was the BEST experience! From start to finish, contact with the company, pickup and drop off arrangements and of course the trek itself. Everything ran smoothly and we were very well looked after. The highlight was our amazing and humble tour guide Cung who was a wonderful and kind person and very knowledgeable about Ijen and the local area. He looked after us, told us stories about the volcano and the miners (him and his dad being miners). He kept us safe and gave us the best advice when going down into the crater. We really enjoyed seeing his local village and learning about his culture and seeing the rice paddies, coffee and rubber plantations. We loved every moment and sad it has come to an end. If you want to be greeted with a smile and be provided with the best possible experience of Mt. Ijen don't hesitate and book with these guys. THANK you CUNG!!!

This tour was really amazing. We arrived af the homestay around 2200 and it felt like home directly. The tour was adventurous and we had a lot of fun with the tourguy. Thanks!

This tour is amazing. The crater is out of this world and the waterfalls were perfect to refresh ourselves after the hike. Many thanks to our driver Aziz and our guide Hasyim, who was very funny, knowledgeable and always made sure we were safe in the crater. You won’t regret booking this tour!

Well organized and really cool.The tour was really interesting. The guide was great and knows a lot of things about the place. Good accomodation also and the pickup is really convinient. We strongly recommand the tour.

We went on a trip from Bali to Java and visited Ijen and Bromo! We had the best tour guide you can imagine. He waited for us at the harbour in Ketapang with his driver to pick us up. Mr Paing (our guide) is a reliable and funny guy, he waited 6 hours to pick us up, because our bus got stuck! The organisation of the trip was perfect. We stopped for lunch, our car was very comfy and Mr Paing took care of our needs (was always searching for vegetarian food for example). We felt really safe during the trip and Mr Paing has a big heart and a lot of humor. On top of that he knows secret stops even in the touristic places on Ijen and Bromo. He is still working at the miner at Ijen and knows a lot about it. It seems like he is loving his job as a tour guide. Also our driver was really good and we felt so safe driving with him! We booked the tour at Osing Vaccation Tours, just write them on What's app and they will organise everything for you! We really recommend to do this tour with Mr Paing!
