      Best experience ever!
I had the most amazing time ever!! Totally recommend!! My bus got 8h late ( yeah this can happen) and i lost my pre arranged tour. I sent a message to this company and they instantly arranged a tour for me, very value for money and i was lucky enough to have the best guide ever Rodrigo. Definitely ask for him, he’s very kind, funny and knows the best spots for photos :)

An amazing experience with a professional company
Fantastic one day salt flat tour with Miguel. He was a very safe driver, informative and an incredible photographer. As long as your don't want high luxury (which I'm not sure you can get on a group tour) I can't reccomend this tour enough. Was exactly as described and one of the best things I've ever done.

      Blast with Salty
We did the 3 days tour with the company. Our interest was sleeping near the Termal Springs so after asking around this company was the one. Another plus was the ease of privatizing the room for the second night, which we took for comfort. Now our tour guide was Leandro, he was very professional at all times. Good explanations, excellent driving and 100 % recommended to go with him. His dedication to the photography and making sure we had our own times for enjoying the places we visited along the route. He gave solid logistical talks in order for the whole group to know what was going to happen during the day. We would highly recommend this tour company and more so with Leandro!! Cheers

Fantastic trip and the wonderful Henri as our guide
I just came back from the 3 day salt flat tour. I and the rest of the group had a experience of a lifetime. The sights that you see on the tour are simply breathtaking. The stories are very interesting and everything went smoothly. The food was okay to good, witch is impressive if you think of how remote the places you spend the night are. We ended up with a Spanish tour even though we don't speak Spanish. Because almost everything was sold out. We were a bit worried about how it would go, but our guide Henri that apparently only spoke Spanish, took up the challenge like a boss. Henri made sure that all our needs were met and did an absolutely fantastic job of telling about the many sights in English. I can't recommend you enough to ask for Henri as your guide. Even if you only speak English. We learned a lot of Spanish and at the same time Henri definitely improving his English. It was lovely to see his passion and how he gave it all, to do it in English

Amazing experience; outstanding service from Henry
3 days/2 nights private tour (2 adults) with Henry. It was an amazing experience and the highlight of our trip. Communication with Salty Desert Aventours before the trip was good and they answered some questions we had. Henry was our driver and guide, and he was perfect for us. Friendly, polite, professional and easygoing, we enjoyed our three days with him. Gave good information at every stop, answered our questions, and kept us informed on what was coming next . Punctual and ready in the mornings (we read reviews of other companies' problems with drunk guides; not with him), and great managing time so that we stuck to the schedule, while also leaving some room to be flexible. He was also an outstanding driver and an excellent photographer. At the time he was taking English classes, so I expect him to be available to give tours in both languages soon. The places visited and the landscapes are out of this world. And to be in the middle of nowhere, in such a beautiful place, was an amazing experience. Our 4WD was in good condition. Food throughout the tour was very good, in both quality and quantity. The hotels/hostels had clean, comfortable beds, hot water and enough blankets for a good night's sleep during September cold temperatures. I recommend Salty Desert Aventours and Henry, a 100%. If you can, go for the private tour, for the added comfort and flexibility. We had a wonderful time.

      The Best 1-Day Tour
I just finished the best 1-Day tour of the Uyuni Salt Flats with this company and had nothing but the best experience! The whole team was entirely accommodating, picking us up directly at the airport from our flight and whisking us away on an all day tour with our limited time. We had Fernando as our driver for the day and he was fantastic, especially when it came to the fun photo session where he took amazing photos of us all – even some extra fun night shots as well. All in all, this company is fantastic, and highly recommend the 1-day tour if you have limited time in Uyuni like we did. We got to see and do so much in one day thanks to the great staff and well planned tour.

It was an extraordinary experience, especially our guide Henry (nicest guy in the world, if you can ask for him) was really great! You'll see a ton of cool animals and breathtaking nature, it's worth every money in the world! Best experience we made in Bolivia

      Great company yo use
We did the 1 day tour with Marco as our guide. The tour was in Spanish. Everything was really well organized. I did not care so much about the train cemetery but the Salar was really magnificent. Marco was the master at taking the pictures and videos with special effects. We also very enjoyed the visit to the island. Food was good. The toast with wine at the end while enjoying the sun set on the Salar was a nice surprise. We were really pleased with the service provided by Salty Adventour. We recommend using that company.

      Recommendation
Our tour guide Abraham was the best we could imagine. He was really friendly and we had a lot of fun with him. Further he told us a lot about the history and we were even one hour longer to watch the sunset and the stars. It was an incredible trip. The desert is amazing. Thanks to Abraham for the day. We can totally recommed it.

      100% recommend with Salty Desert.
Amazing experience seeing the salt flats, desert, lagoons and mountains. Leandro was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and reliable. Other companies don't stay at the Thermal baths and that was one of the highlights- star gazing from a volcanic pool.

      Best day with best guide
Great day with a great guide . Adalid really made our day. Worked hard to make our experience great, done a lot of pictures , and even as he was “non English “ guide, his English was good enough to engage with us, tell us a lot of interesting information and we had no issues even with if we did not spoke any Spanish. Attention to detail, small extras - this is what makes a good experience great. Thank you Adalid, wish you all the best in whatever you do with your future!

      Best 2 days tour ever
Best tour we have done in South America so far! 2 days tour where we saw a lot of things, salar of uyuni included. Our guide, Andaliz, has been the best. He showed us every site possible and explained us everything, as well as having a lot of patience as we wanted to take a lot of pics. What a nice person, we left a friend in uyuni, a big hug andaliz!

      Salar de Uyuni
We had a blast!!! We did a 2 day tour, the first day was the salar and the second day was the lakes and hot springs. The first day we had Marcos, and the second day we had Henry and Mauricio. They were all WONDERFUL! We were in a group with friends and newly made friends and all got along so well. The tour guides were professional, knew so much, and made us all feel safe. On top of that we had plenty of laughs and great conversations! We were working with a mix of Spanish and English and it turned out great. The food was also incredible- home made lunch both days that has been some of our favorite food in Bolivia! I would highly recommend this tour company for anyone looking to go to the salar. The price is very fair and they will take great care of you. The guides are friendly and knowledgeable and will make sure you get the best experience possible!

This was one of my favourite experiences in 3 months travelling Latin America. Miguel was an incredible driver on very difficult roads, I felt safe the entire time. He was also an excellent guide and an amazing photographer. The accommodation is as expected, first night was fine, second was cold and run down (think limited electricity, internet and water) but this is every where on the salt flats regardless of the company. The food was fine, plenty and warm, I recommend the vegetarian option. The company rents sleeping bags and you should definitely use these. The hot springs at sunset were incredible. The salt flats, volcanoes and flamingos and landscapes were just unforgettable and I would recommend this trip to anyone. Ask for Miguel! The trip really comes down to your driver/guide. And Miguel made our 3 days unforgettable. Gracias!

This was an amazing and beautiful journey. What incredible country. Salty Desert was wonderful from our driver, Wille, to our guide Rene, to the young woman in the office whose name we didn't get. Rene spoke excellent English and knew a huge amount on not only the landscapes we toured but Bolivia and its history. Both he and Willie were prompt, courteous, organized, efficient and made every effort to see we were comfortable, enjoying the journey. The jeep was in good shape and Willie a good and careful driver. If you do a salt falts tour - use this company! We did 3 days/2 nights and felt that was a good amount of time. The days are very full, starting at 7 and 7:30 breakfast and ending at dusk. Special treat was natural hot springs at night.

I was so pleasantly surprised with this tour. Of all the tours I’ve done in the last 4 months, this one felt like it was worth the money fully and we were constantly experiencing new things. Our guide Beimar was SO thoughtful, so knowledgeable, and very communicative. I always knew what was on the agenda. Overall, fantastic. Do not hesitate to book!

Adalid was our guide and he made our tour perfect, he made sure everyone was comfortable and had everything they needed at every point in the trip. He always showed such enthusiasm for each place even though he’ll of seen them a 1000 times before, but his enthusiasm was infectious and made the experience better for us. As well as this he was just a good laugh which meant we had a great time as a group! He should also be recommended for taking the best photos of us at each stop and always making sure people were happy with them to remember the amazing experience!

We took a 3-day, 2-night tour. The landscape was beautiful. The guide, who spoke English, was creative in taking our picture in the Salar d'Uyuni. Hotels were decent.

However, we were very disappointed with the guide, who was more of a driver than a guide. He gave almost no explanations and didn't wait until the group was complete before giving information. On the second day, he still didn't know our first names and left us in the car, without noticing our absence (we couldn't get the front seat down to get out of the vehicle).
During the 4-5 hours drive back to Uyuni, the guide never spoke to us or asked us a question. He didn't even get out of the vehicle on arrival to help us collect our bags, nor did he say goodbye.

Leandro was the perfect guide, very knowledgeable and found a way to bond with each individual, despite any language barriers. We were fortunate to have a great group, and the tour itself was perfect to see all the awe inspiring sites of Uyuni, the salt flats and volcanoes and lagoons. Thank you Leandro for showing ua the best of your beautiful country!

I spent three days in the salt flats with my travel group and our driver/guide, Jorge and it was amazing! I booked online before arriving in Bolivia. I’m sure it would have been cheaper to book the day-of and negotiate, but I was on a tight schedule and knew I wanted to travel with Salty Desert. A rep met me at the bus station in the wee hours of the morning and took me to a cafe where I ate breakfast and charged my phone for a few hours. I’m an intermediate Spanish speaker and was able to understand most of my Spanish speaking tour. I was also a solo female traveler and had to share a room with a solo male traveler (I did not expect this but I was fine with it) but you may want to ask them about room sharing ahead of time if this is a concern. The second night, I stayed with three others (which I expected). I ended the tour in Chile and the transfer happened without issues.

Amazing trip but as a few others have reported we did have some issues along the way. Our driver/guide was inexperienced and is I believe no longer working with Salty Desert following our feedback. He was great with the photos on day 1 but seriously unwell on day 2, we think he may have been taking something he shouldn't on the first evening in the salt hotel (which was fabulous). Coupled with that we had serious problems with the jeep on day 2 of which he was in denial - it was left to us to flag down other vehicles to help. We limped into the hotel on night 2 which was rather basic and they hadn't reserved enough rooms for all of us. After much protest we had a different driver/guide on day 3 who was brilliant. Being Spanish speakers we had chosen a Spanish speaking tour and we had a lovely group of people all with some Latin connection. But we didn't realise that actually they keep the most experienced guides for the English-speaking groups.

Incredible trip! Everything was catered including food and accommodation. The trip was very well organised with amazing activities planned for each day so we never got bored. The highlight of the trip however was our guide José! He attended to our every need with genuine kindness and was very informative answering all our questions. One of the best guides we have ever had!!

I had a great time on this trip. The salt flats were amazing and unlike anything I had ever seen before. The same can be said for Laguna Colorada. Our guide, Ivan, was fantastic. He was very informative, friendly, a great photographer on the salt flat, and ran everything smoothly. I would definitely recommend Salty Desert Aventours to anyone thinking about visiting Salar de Uyuni.
