We liked the extra history and extra side trips. We really like Smokey as our guide and enjoyed the way he took extra care with us.

WOW! The best experience we could have hoped for!
First, our tour guide, Stanton was exceptional! We were picked up from our hotel (Los Abrigados in Sedona - also exceptional) on time. Stanton was so great to explain the different sites and history of those areas and also offered to take a few photos of us. The Wupatki Monument was so interesting! Stopping at the Sunset Crater lava field was also great. The lunch at the Cameron Trading Post was good and there was an abundance of shopping and beautiful Navajo rugs and blankets (lots of cool turquoise jewelry as well). Only downer was the weather! It was pretty much total fog but Stanton was great at trying to explain the Grand Canyon without actually seeing much (I know that sounds silly, but he did make it a great experience). There was plenty of water on the bus and the bus was very comfortable (and a perfect amount of bathroom breaks!). This truly is the only way to see the Grand Canyon since you can sit back, relax and know your guide is going to take you directly to the places you might miss driving yourself. This tour is totally worth it and we are planning to return when the weather is a bit more cooperative and hopefully are lucky enough to get Stanton on that return trip!

An Amazing Day Trip to the Grand Canyon!
This tour was great. They picked you up at your hotel and dropped you off at your hotel at the end of the day. Communications prior to the tour from the company were great. Our tour guide Sheldon was amazing. The vans were comfortable and clean. Water, snacks, and informational pamphlets were provided. Sheldon provided information along the way with a lot of humor which helped make the drive a lot of fun. We made several stops along the way to the Grand Canyon. The stops included: views of the San Francisco mountains, the volcano Sunset Crater (we got to walk on ash and old lava flows), saw Indian ruins at Wupatki National Monument, and had an amazing lunch on the Navajo Indian Reservation. All before going to the Grand Canyon! We spend approximately 3 to 3.5 hours at the Grand Canyon, which was enough to get amazing views from different vantage points and explore Grand Canyon Village. The entire day lasted about 11 hours. I did not feel rushed at any of the stops. Sheldon made sure everyone felt the had the appropriate amount of time at each stop. The park entrance fees and lunch are covered with the cost of the booking. An amazing day trip to the Grand Canyon if you are staying in Sedona or Flagstaff. Highly recommend!

          Great Antelope Canyon Tour!
This was an excellent tour with Al as our guide (BTW that's A-L not A-I - ha!). Great communication about pick-up, drop-off, time at stops, etc. We booked it mostly to see Antelope Canyon - which is amazing - but were equally in awe of Horseshoe Bend. Appreciated that we had lots of time to explore. Our Navajo guide, Bernice, at the canyon was fantastic. Highly recommend this tour!

          Glad we took this. Tour
The tour was seamlessly organized. Timely pickup from our hotel and the van was comfortable and clean. We managed to cover a lot of places without feeling rushed or fatigued. A well planned route easily managed in a day. The five star rating is primarily for our wonderful guide Brian Lutz He is knowledgeable and shared information in a very interesting manner. Great communication skills and compassionate with humor. Highly recommended

          God's Majestic Creation-the Grand Canyon
This day trip gets all the exclamations!!!!! We made approximately 9 stops at lookouts of the Grand Canyon. The last stop is timed perfectly to watch the sunset on the canyon. Our guide Seveebe Benson was top notch- so knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and with so much experience! We traveled in a very comfortable van. This trip is worth the price. ( If your tour ends with the meal at the Indian reservation, here's a tip-large portions!)

Don't do the train, but GO
The tour we booked isn't listed here, Grand Canyon with a portion on the train. The train wasn't worth it, not much to see and lots of babies and kids. That said... the rest of the day was absolutely spectacular. Sheldon knows the area, the history, the geology... we got 6 stops with gorgeous views and experiences (would have been 8 without the train), lunch and a stop at the Cameron Trading Post. Sheldon lets his visitors set the pace, shares a wealth of information and is extremely kind, courteous and respectful. It was a long day but worth every minute and every penny that we got to spend with him. 100% would do it again - without the train!

Would recommend this tour in a heat beat, Steve was so welcoming and his knowledge of the whole area was amazing. Was an incredible day from being picked to drop off 11 hours later. I would do this tour again given the chance.

          Great Ventures Brings Great Memories
This tour is an all day tour, but well worth the money and dedication to the day of the best sightseeing tour available. Our tour guide Sheldon is laced with knowledge of the Grand Canyon and the state of AZ. I would highly recommend going through Great Venture Tours otherwise you will miss a lot of knowledgeable, history and photo ops off the beaten path.

          Amazing Tour
This tour was amazing, stunning, awesome, splendid… did I say amazing!! The Grand Canyon just cannot be captured in pictures!! It is an experience. Additionally, we saw Ravens, coyote, mule, cattle, mule deer, elk. Our guide also took us to Lava fields and Pueblo on the road featured in Easy Rider! Saw and active and dormant volcano in Arizona, had lunch at a Navajo site. So much in one day to make us want to comeback for a longer experience. Our guide Mark was delightful, articulate and funny.

Spectacular views. Cat (tour guide) was exceptional. For our first trip to the Grand Canyon, the tour was the best way to see the sites and offers a number of vantage points with different views and perspectives.

Let them do the driving, you just sit back and enjoy the ride!
Arizona Tour and Travel, the best way to see the Grand Canyon. Our guide Sheldon was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, the bus was comfortable. So glad we decided NOT to drive ourselves from Sedona to the Grand Canyon - got to enjoy the scenery, didn't have to worry about logistics or where to find the best views - all taken care of for us! Picked up at our resort, returned to our door about 12 hours later. A very memorable day and worth every penny.

“Seeing the Grand Canyon is an experience, not a picture”
This tour was an outstanding, incredible experience! Sheldon made our day, and I would highly recommend going on tour with him! We are feeling really blessed and like we really experienced the grandest experience of the Grand Canyon!! Sheldon really made the best effort to make us all feel warm, hydrated and happy, he is an outstanding, well rounded and experienced tour guide, who is highly passionate about his work and knows all you need to know from the Navajo tribe to the Grand Canyon Rocks to the flow of rivers! Incredible, thank you so much for this!

I have nothing but good things to say. Starting from the friendliness and caring attention from the tour guide down to the scenic beauty of all the places we visited, it was a memorable experience. The itinerary took us to some of the most beautiful places I've been, ones that I think are the most beautiful on earth. The horseshoe bend was so spectacular that I couldn't stop taking pictures from a hundred angles. The slot canyons were a whole new experience. We were immersed in a labyrinth of colorful awesomeness. Every bend and cavern was worth a hundred pictures, every picture was worth a gallery. This part of the tour had its own guide from the native tribe, and she was well versed in the geology and super friendly. The guide of the main tour also made us feel comfortable and well informed throughout the ride. All in all, it was series of breathtaking views that made us marvel at mother nature. You must take this tour of you're ever in Arizona for sightseeing.

We were looking for a side trip when we were visiting Sedona & I happened to see the this. What an amazing tour-so glad that we chose to do this! It is listed as a 12 hour tour but it was extremely enjoyable & there were a few stops along the way. We were picked up at our hotel at 6:!0 & taken to a different van to meet our guide -Wayne, He was, for us, probably one of the best tour guides we have had-what a gem! He was so knowledgeable, fun & very well traveled himself. The stops during the day were : a convenience store for snacks/restroom break in the morning/afternoon, the Cameron Trading Post, Horseshoe Bend, a restaurant for lunch, where we met our guide for the Antelope Canyon part of the tour & Glen Canyon Dam/Lake Powell. Wayne was also helpful in assisting those who needed it in & out of the van, He took our orders for lunch which was at Gone West in Pace. There were great options to choose from. Antelope Canyon was an amazing unforgettable site & our Navajo guide, Latisha was so informative & assisted everyone in taking the best photos. We were returned to our hotel about 5:30pm. this tour is definitely a must do if you are in the area & have the time.

Brad, our tour guide was awesome. Knowledgeable, funny, learned some interesting facts, he was interactive with passengers. Trip was worth it, both destinations were breathtaking. Trip was well organized, lunch was great w vegetarian options. Tour guide in the antelope canyon was a seasoned Navajo tour guido, really knowledgeable, great photography skills and even played us an instrument in the canyon. Highly recommended.

I can't even describe today's tour without breaking into a smile. First, kudos to Cat for being an awesome tour guide. She spoke clearly, moved us along, and got us to multiple cool sites! Second kudos to Leland for being our Navajo tour guide for Antelope Upper Canyon. He is an exceptional photographer and I highly, highly recommend that you request him if possible for your tours. He took the time to take all the pictures we wanted while explaining many, many cool things about the canyon. Would 100% recommend this tour.

This was a good tour but we definitely wish we had more time at both destinations. We had the pickup in Sedona and the drive to the locations take away a lot of the time you could otherwise spend at the destinations. The trou guide and the group we ended up with were great. You would be better served to visit these locations when you are staying nearer to them or using your own rental car to drive to the destinations so there are fewer stops for a group and you can control how fast you go. When you arrive at Horseshoe Bend, you have one hour to walk out to the view, enjoy the view and take pictures, and walk back. We are fast walkers so we probably ended up with more time than most would. I would have enjoyed that area more if we had more time to take it all in. I do not know if you can go to Antelope Canyon without being on a guided tour like this, but those tours do move you along fairly quickly there is no way around that. Our ride out to the canyon was half the fun of that part of the trip! Super bumpy and fast ride, so if you get car sick this is NOT for you. Our Navajo guide through the canyon itself was great and he even played a song inside on his flute for us. The lunch included wasn't anything to write home about but was a good lunch nonetheless. Our driver was very informative and made the last bit of the ride back to the hotel fun where all the guests got to choose a song to play in the van.

The rating has nothing to do with the actual tour which is probably very good. I rated it a "1" because there is no provision for getting a refund. My wife was suffering from COVID and we had to cancel our trip. I cancelled this excursion two weeks before the date and received ZERO refund, nor did I receive a credit toward a future tour with them. To lose over $500 in today's economy was a tough pill to swallow.

Please be advised that the tour you booked states "All Sales Final" through Viator/TripAdvisor. If you had contacted us, the Tour Provider directly, we would have taken the matter into consideration and authorized a full refund. We have just learned about this in a forum for actual tour reviews which is regrettable. However, we have contacted Viator/TripAdvisor and authorized a full refund which we would have done sooner had you again, reached out to us directly.

Our tour guide Stevie B. texted us two days before confirming the booking. He arrived promptly at the pickup time he gave us. The whole experience was everything we were looking for and more. Stevie B. did a great job of tailoring the experience to the group's wants. We are avid hikers and were looking for some different hikes. He was full of local knowledge on the hikes in the Northern Arizona area. We told him we were going down the Grand Canyon to the Colorado and back up on Christmas day. He went to the extent of calling local sporting goods to check they're availability of yak track sizes and holiday store hours while we toured Antelope Canyon with our Native guide. That pretty much says it all...

Excellent tour from start to finish! The company called a few days in advance to confirm and remind us of any regulations for the trip such as mask requirements in Antelope Canyon. Jeff was our driver and guide. He arrived a few minutes early and kept the day on track very well. Had five other people with us on a large van, very comfortable. Jeff provided a lot of information about the area and even gave us a few recommendations for trails to hike the next day. Horseshoe Bend and Glen Canyon were beautiful but the highlight was Antelope Canyon. We joined with a Navajo guide, Leticia, in Page. It was fun to drive through the sand to the entrance of the canyon. Leticia provided ample time to take photographs and pointed out a lot of highlights throughout. She also took numerous pictures of my husband and I throughout the canyon with perfect lighting. Only complaint was due to other people on the tour that refused to stay with the group or listen to the guides. Not the guides fault, just entitled people. Definitely recommend this tour! It was beautiful and well worth the time and money!

What a fantastic experience! KAT was both fun and knowledgeable. She encouraged communication among our fellow travelers, shared her incredible wealth of knowledge, and we had a fun song festival on the way home. Antelope Canyon is not to be missed! Our guide there, Leonard, was also funny and really did show us how to make the most of our photos. This day was the highlight of our trip to Arizona!
