Awesome package deal but very expensive.
This excursion is a package of 3 different activities you could organize by youself at a much lower price point. However if what you want is a very well organized package and trip this package is for you. With this package you can turn you brain off and enjoy the ride because everything will be taken care of for you. I highly recommend this excursion : the experience is unique and the staff from all different companies are awesome and very friendly. Loved every minute of this trip. I'm rating it 3 stars because of the price/value ratio only.

Like walking on the moon. Though I've never done that.
A unique and exciting opportunity. Expensive yes, but worth doing once. Even just the viewing theater is amazing, if you can't do the tour.

          Average Experience
Christian was a knowledgeable guide but there wasn't all that much wildlife to view Mostly just a boat ride with a few sightings of penguins in the water and a whale. Lots of petrals.

          Unbelievable Experience
Tremendous experience. Hard to put into words how beautiful it is. The guides were very helpful and informative. The boat ride to the glacier was really windy and almost as fun as the trek itself. You can drink right off the glacier. We had 7 people on the trek ranging from 10 years old to 60 years old and everyone had a great time. Highly recommended!

Be careful what you book if you don’t want to take 5e train.
Let’s be clear - the driver and guide who delivered the tour were excellent. The driver stood outside in pouring rain to ensure we recognized which van to go in. My issue is with the people selling the tour. And it should likely be two stars. I booked a half day drip without the train, as I wanted extra time in the park to see more of it. However I was grouped with people who had booked the train trip. My option was to sit in the van for 1.5 hrs (train is an hour plus waiting for the train), or pay the extra money to go on the train. I had already decided that the train wasn’t worth the time or money in a half day. But I didn’t realize that meant I’d sit and do nothing for 1.5 hrs of a 5 hr tour!! If I were doing this again, I’d hire a private guide to take me just to the park. So nothing wrong with the people who delivered the program. But it needs to be clearly specified that if you don’t go on the train, you sit around for 1.5-2 hrs. Was not worth the cost for a half day trip.

A Good Way to See Mount Fitz Roy and El Chalten
This turned out to be a much larger tour group than I expected. Picked up from my accommodation in a van, but soon transferred to a coach bus, with 40 tourists on board. We were offered two options for the day: 1) do a short guided hike up to a lookout offering good views of Mount Fitz Roy and the peaks nearby, followed by lunch in a local restaurant, or 2) do a longer self-guided hike to get closer to Mount Fitz Roy, with a boxed lunch. I opted for (1). The only negative was the 45,000 ARS park pass that was needed to gain access to do the hike. Expensive, considering the hike only took about one hour in total. After lunch, we drove east of town, for an easy 500 meter hike to a waterfall. Many, many tour groups doing the same, resulting in WAY too many people at the waterfall simultaneously, literally tripping over one another, and jockeying for photos. Bedlam. Think the tour companies need to get together, and arrange slot times for the waterfall, to have their groups arrive at different times.

Best experience of our trip to Argentina. Sebastian was a fabulous guide, and took great care of my children (8 and 11) on the hike.

          Amazing!
Incredible! And the mini trekking is something that really gives you the full experience! Walking on the glasear, seen the fractures, hearing when pieces fall into the lake is a lifetime experience.

Wonderful Excursion. A great day trip !
Wonderful Excursion ! Nacho was ontime, very informative, and flexible toward fulfilling our interests. He answered every question, stopped for anything that caught our attention, and provided photos of things that were beyond our view as he explained the scene or history. He modified the planned route when we saw any alternatives, and allowed us time to enjoy the various locations. He brought hot water for coffee or tea, and a special Argentina snack. The meal provided was excellent. What an excellent day !

One of our favorite Excursions thus far!
This is one of those once in a lifetime experiences and yet still very safe! My husband was nervous about being on a glacier but it was very cool and fun! The guides were great! Very funny and knowledgeable. So many pictures taken and they still don't do justice! There are some parts that could be dangerous if you aren't paying attention and following the guides instructions. We got a little winded in the beginning going up hill but that quickly went away with the beauty of it all. Wish it was longer but I only say that because time flies when you're having fun! It was about 3 hours on the glacier. Plenty of time! It was suprisingly not that cold on the glacier. It was like 3x colder on the Glacier Outlook Balcony. Again, it could be because you're stomping on ice and going up and down. Dont miss this chance! Great experience to share with friends and strangers! Nice treat at the end!

          The glacier
It is the most popular place to visit and has incredible views. We had a great guide and driver team who shared much information. Issue: There are two boat ride options - South and North. Most people went to the south, and few of us got to the north. The difference needs to be clarified.

Beautiful but very pricey and short
The ice trekking is super beautiful that I can recommend to everyone. However, the hike itself is only 1.5 hours so bear that in mind. Also, considering it's very expensive you don't get that much in return. Last but not least, the guide in the beginning could only talk in Spanish which wasn't a problem for Spanish speakers like me but the Americans in our group i.e. felt left out and had no clue what's going on.
