About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- martha h0 contributionsDo this kayaking experience! This was the single most exciting part of our trip for me. To be so close to the glacier and icebergs and yet feel completely secure in the professionalism of the staff was mind blowing!!Written 4 March 2025
- ssR9161EX0 contributionsDo not book with Receptive Aborigen tours!Do not book with Receptivo Aborigen Tours! They falsely advertise their tours. They are just a transfer booking agency. They cut corners, fail to provide the services you paid for, and will ask you to pay additional when you are there. No proactive communication—you’ll be chasing them for updates on everything. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this unprofessional and misleading company!Written 16 January 2025
- Cras8580 contributionsBuenos Aires’ Flavors and SightsThis tour was a feast for the senses! Our guide introduced us to the best local foods, including empanadas and Malbec wine, while also sharing fascinating stories about the city’s landmarks. A delicious and informative tour!Written 27 August 2024
- Rozas7680 contributionsAn unforgettable experience"Walking through the streets of Buenos Aires with our guide was like stepping back in time. From the grand architecture to the lively markets, every corner had a story to tell. An unforgettable experience!Written 27 August 2024
- Rody02780 contributionsAmazing experienceOur guide brought the spirit of Buenos Aires to life with a fantastic tango show and a tour of the historic San Telmo neighborhood. We learned so much about the culture and history. Highly recommend this tour!Written 27 August 2024
- 287chadg0 contributionsAvoid this company!Avoid this company. We are Americans who were taken advantage by Gabriel and his team on a tour we signed up for in Nicaragua. There are many articles online (and blogs) of similar scenarios with people who have dealt with Gabriel. This is very sad and is not acceptable. We hope to find justice and get our money back, but further more, we hope to prevent this from happening to other people.Written 18 January 2024
- I3270KGpaulr0 contributionsGood administration, but poor value and uncomfortableThe administration was good, it was responsive to requests and easy to make a booking. But we thought several aspects of the tour were poor. --The guide did not accompany the group on its boat tour or the viewing of the Perito Moreno. --The bus was cramped, it was uncomfortable in general and particularly for the long rides on unpaved/gravel roads (two hours to the Estancia) and --The lunch was mediocre.Written 4 January 2024
- Jeffaroundthisworld0 contributionsTo many locals residents on the cheap $70 season pass.Unfortunately this ski hill is overrun with rude, aggressive locals residents who only pay equivalent of $70 to ski the entire season. They should stop giving the pass away for so little to the pushy locals and focus on the tourists from Buenos Aires and abroad paying more for one day ticket than the locals pay for all season.Written 10 September 2023
- JP_Vann20180 contributionsAn Exciting Argentina Adventure with Receptivo Aborigen ToursArgentina boasts of some of the world's breathtaking sceneries like the Patagonia and the Iguazù Falls. My exciting Argentinian adventure was made possible with the help of Gonzalo of Receptivo Aborigen Tours. Gonzalo handled my inquiry and arranged an interesting customized package that was right for my limited budget. For less than USD2,000 my 12 days/11 nights package included the following: * 2 nights hotel accommodation with breakfast in Buenos Aires * 3 nights hotel accommodation with breakfast in El Calafate, Ushuaia and Iguazù * Sightseeing tours (bilingual - in Spanish and English) in each city including a relaxing ranch tour with asado lunch outside Buenos Aires, mini trekking on the Perito Moreno Glacier and the Devil's Throat speed boat ride in Iguazù. Tour pick ups were on time except in Iguazù. * Roundtrip transfers * 4 internal flights (Buenos Aires-El Calafate, El Calafate-Ushuaia, Ushuaia-Iguazù, Iguazù-Buenos Aires) Admission fees to the national parks were not included but those are very minimal, about ARS5,500 each. Optional tours may also be availed on the site and better if you pay in Argentine Peso. And here are some of the reasons why I highly recommend booking with Receptivo Aborigen for your Argentina trip: * Communication was fast and easy through WhatsApp and email. * Online payment was secure through We Travel. Please note, however, that surcharge was almost 6%. * Gonzalo was ever patient with my requests. He was helpful and kind enough to accommodate last minute changes due to my unexpected delayed arrival. After the tours, he even checked how each tour went. He also convinced me to take optional tours, the Perito Moreno mini trekking and the Devil's Throat boat ride. Both turned out to be two of the most thrilling things I have done on my trips!!! Thank you for the suggestion, Gonzalo! * The included 2 and 3 hotels were all centrally located and clean. * Very good value for money!!! * Excellent customer service!!!Written 7 May 2023
- 677camilog0 contributionsBeautiful nature viewsExcellent trip and Victoria island was beautiful. We took the # 20 bus from Bariloche to Puerto Pañuelos and walked to the docking area and bought our tickets and permits. Pay with Argentinian pesos!Written 18 April 2023
- Medea70 contributionsWay too crowded in February and MarchTraffic was overwhelming, Bariloche was hot and packed, drivers aggressive. Most restaurants were just average for food , high for price. El Bolson slightly less frantic but not fun Lago Puelo is great, hope it stays that way.Written 6 March 2023

- cbhutto0 contributionsFull day pioneer experience to Perito Moreno GlacierDuring our bus ride from El Calafate to the Estancia Nibeko-Aike we were given a history of the settlement of this area by early pioneers. We bumped our way along the rocky trail with sightings of raptors, condors, rheas and guanacos. The ride over the historic trail gave us the feel of traveling in a wagon in spite of the fact that we were in a temperature controlled bus. As we neared the ranch we saw flamingos as well as sheep and cattle. We passed the memorial of the Massacre of Estancia Anita where in 1921 the army killed ranch hands who were asking for improved working conditions. Upon arrival at the ranch which is in Los Glaciares National Park, we enjoyed wonderful views of this part of Patagonia and were treated to a horse barrel race and a sheep shearing demonstration. Lunch was superb: salad, sausage and lamb. Following lunch we boarded an enclosed boat for a ride to the Perito Moreno Glacier. Before reaching the glacier we deboarded for a 1/2 mile hike along the shore. Back on the boat we rode near the glaciers which offer great photo opportunities. We returned to the bus for short ride to the raised metal walkway at the park visitors center. Where we saw various views of the glacier and impressive thunderous sounds of bits of the glacier falling into the water. Our guide Noelia was wonderful. We returned by highway back to El Calafate.Written 23 December 2022
- M4273PRcarolp0 contributionsLove Mendoza! We had a great tour of the Taipiche, Sin Fin and Zuccardi wineries with Deni. She was knowledgeable about the wine-making process and was able to answer our questions and interpret from the Spanish-speaing guides at each winery. We especially enjoyed the tasting at Tapuche and also the opportunity to learn about the process for producing olive oil at Zuccardi. The lunch at Pan y Oliva was delicious! Our stay at Laras de Chacras was also terrific. Great staff, cozy rooms and a great daily breakfast! Really enjoyed our time in Mendoza!Written 17 July 2022
