        Very Nice Evening!
After the conference, we ate dinner here at the Gala Tango. I chose beef cheek which was very good! It was soft almost like a lengua estofado! So far I enjoyed this dinner very much because it was coupled with a good appetizer of meat empanada and a dessert of crepe with dulce de leche and cappuccino. My friend had a roast pork which he claimed to be very good also. Best of all was the show! It was indeed a mix of culture dance - tango, songs ( Dry cry for me Argentina in Spanish) and music like El Condor Pasa! Their version was excellent accompanied by a ukelele with 10 strings (charango). The gaucho did a good drum and play with the boleadoras Overall a very nice evening!

        Amazing show
I booked a tango lesson before the show; other people have mentioned that transport didn't arrive to pick them up; luckily this venue was just around the corner from my hotel, so when transport didn't arrive at the specified time, I walked. The tango lesson was fun, but not quite what I expected; it was group tango rather than an individual lesson. The meal was good, service was OK and the show was amazing. I enjoyed the evening and walked back to my hotel.

        Superb
I was a little sceptical that the full package of: pickup and return to my hotel; 3 course dinner; and the actual show, would be only average. Pick-up and return absolutely fine. With it being mass catering, I thought the dinner would be only adequate, so pleasantly surprised was a small but well varied menu and of above average quality and (with the package I bought) unlimited wine. The show itself is very well put together, with fantastic musicians, very good dancers and singers, with one singer being one of the best male baritones I have heard in a long time. With one song in particular he was pitch perfect, very clear enunciation so that even with my poor Spanish I understood most of the song, especially the underlying emotion of it. He could have gone "full drama" with it but kept it restrained allowing his voice and the words to convey the meaning. By the use of the songs and dances, with well selected projections and costumes, of the various times portrayed, the show gave a very concise and enjoyable history of the Argentine tango Very, very enjoyable and well worth the money.

        Recommend it!
We had a great time! We are a party of 12, of adults and teenagers. The food was decent but this show isn’t about the food. (And the wine was plentiful if that matters to you.) It’s about the whole experience and the show was great! The dancers and singers were very entertaining. The show doesn’t start until late (around 10:15/10:30 pm) so prepare yourself for that. It’s a great activity for someone looking to experience tango in Argentina.

        Thoroughly enjoyable visit
Excellent English speaking tour, with a fab guide, who had a great sense of humour and could answer all questions. A beautiful building with no concert ticket above $80!

Driver/guide never showed up even though we had prepaid and scheduled the private four hour city tour in advance. Very d
We had booked a four hour private city tour of Buenos Aires. Our pick up was at the Marriott Hotel. The driver/guide never showed up. We called the numbers given and there was no response. That was the only day in Buenos Aires and we wasted a day. Very disappointing. Finally we took a hurried city tour with Hop On Hop Off bus. We lost the money we had paid in advance for the tour plus missed the tour we wanted to do. Very disappointed.

        Don’t book it.
This was scam. We never got our email from Teatro Colon. We went to Teatro Colon showed our confirmation from the trip advisor email they’re saying they can’t find our information. So, we couldn’t get the tour. Very sad & upsetting.

        Unethical business practices! BEWARE
BEWARE of this establishment! My husband and I booked this event and paid in advance $240 US dollars. We received e-mail confirmation and it stated they would pick us up at 7:30 pm from our hotel, Park Hyatt Palacio Duhau. Upon arrival at our hotel we discovered there are 2 entrances to the hotel, one on Posadas Street and one on Alvear Street. The hotel main building and original entrance is on Alvear but both entrances are staffed by a registration desk and concierge, bellman, etc. Due to this unique setting we e-mailed La Ventana to ask which entrance to meet them at for our event. The e-mail was answered by a staff member, Andrea Guzman, to meet at the Alvear lobby. On the evening of the show we arrived to the Alvear lobby at 7:25 pm where we spoke to the concierge and discussed our plan to go to the show. At 7:45 pm no one had arrived so my husband called La Ventana on their What's app and was told the driver was running late but he would be there. At 8:00 pm no one arrived so we began calling La Ventana again. This time no one answered. We went to the concierge and he called La Ventana and no one answered. Between 8:00 pm and 8:15 pm we called the venue and no one answered. During this same period of time another couple arrived in the lobby also stating they were waiting for the same driver and they stated they were told to go to the Posadas lobby but no one had arrived there so they decided to come up to the Alvear entrance to see if anyone had been there. The concierge called the Posadas concierge and no one had arrived there to pick any of us up. The other couple decided they would go back to Posadas and wait there and we would wait in Alvear so that between the 2 of us we could catch the driver. The concierges also assured us that regardless of the entrance they would call to let us know once the driver arrived. At 8:30 pm I decided to what's app the venue to be told the driver had already picked up at our hotel and "we were not in the lobby", which was not true. We had been there since 7:25 pm, over an hour. After multiple exchanges via text we were offered a refund and I accepted the offer. As of this writing we have not received a refund, it has been 3 weeks, they do not answer our calls, respond to our messages, and we have been ghosted by them. They got our money and now their word is no good. We went back to the Posadas lobby to find the other couple did get picked up there. The next day we ran into them at breakfast and they told us that the driver arrived around 8:20 pm and they tried to tell the driver to come to Alvear to pick us up but he didn't speak English at all so he ignored them and rushed them into the van. The couple also told us the driver had no cell phone, his battery was dead, and had no GPS/maps and got very lost. They drove around and around and after an hour finally arrived at the venue. They said the food was decent, not great, but the show was good. The driver also did not talk to the Posadas entrance Concierge at all so he could not call upon us to come to that entrance. The couple said they made every effort to get the driver to go around the block and come get us but with the language barrier if was futile. The main issue we have with all of this is that we went to the lobby that Andrea Guzman told us to go to and after being told in writing they would refund us, no refund has arrived. I feel this is an unethical business practice and implore anyone reading this e-mail to boycott this venue as they do not do what they say they will do. This is unacceptable to take money without fulfilling the contract. Shame on them! Go to another show in Buenos Aries. There are plenty of really good ones.

        What a fabulous night!
In my opinion, you cannot go to Buenos Aires without going to a tango show. My partner was not so keen but we both had a fabulous night out. Yes, it is touristy and you are somewhat herded into the venue and the seating is "compact" but despite the pressure on the waiting staff, they were both very good at their jobs, and also kept their sense of humour and customer service levels - very commendable. We did not expect too much from the food, given the numbers in the venue and all being tourists, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent - my choice being empanadas, steak and dulce de leche - it was all fantastic. The show itself was a mix of tango (absolutely incredible) and other musical events. All in all, a fabulous night out - touristy yes, but fabulous, an even bigger yes!

Good food & very talented performers
I’m not usually inclined to go to these dinner/show events, but I did want to see some authentic Tango dancing. The event space was very crowded with about 200 people. My wife & I both had their steak dinner, and the food was excellent, along with the complementary wine. But the real stars of the evening were the people on stage. The had terrific Tango dancers, singers, musicians, and other performers. All-in-all, they had a rotating group of about 30 performers on stage. It was an unforgettable evening.

        Entertaining evening with good food
We were not really sure what to expect and to be honest had reservations that the show might be a bit ‘tacky’, however we were very pleasantly surprised! The evening’s entertainment was very professionally conducted and we had an extremely enjoyable evening. All dancers, musicians and entertainers were extremely talented. The food too was very good, especially considering the number of people being catered for. My steak was cooked perfectly and the service was prompt and the waiters friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Tangol's special 1-Day tour for Rosario
Tangol arranged a special one day tour for our family to visit Rosario, the home town of the famous Argentina soccer players like Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria. We could visit many places (e.g., Messi's birth house, school, and the soccer field, Museo del Deporte Santafesino, Estadios Rosario Central y Newell's Old Boys, etc.) and take many pitcures. Tangol arranged a tour guide and a mini-van driver for us. They were waiting for us at the airport. They were very friendly and also knowledgeable, so we enjoyed talking with them. This special tour was the one of best tours for us.

The best tailored tour of my life
We are Argentine soccer fans and wanted to visit places related to Lionel Messi, like his birth house and the soccer field (potrero) he played in childhood. Tangol does not have a tour package to Rosario, but they tailored a special 1-day tour just for my family (4 persons) with air tickets between Buenos Aires and Rosario, a private minivan + a tour guide in Rosario. The Tangol contact person sent detailed information, including emergency contact, a couple of days before the tour day. She (the person) acted/replied promptly when I contacted her. The tour guide in Rosario spoke perfect American English (without a Spanish accent). He was friendly to all of us, and we felt comfortable talking to him, and asked him many questions (he was knowledgeable about all the places we visited and answered our questions). That was the best tour of my life.

      Franccela y Darin, «MI OBRA MAESTRA».
