- 631BarbaraM0 contributionsTypical city bus tourOn my way to the Cathedral in Buenos Aires, I spotted the Grey Line tour bus ticket counter in the street. I bought a ticket but did have difficulty finding the pickup spot. Once on the bus, and this has happened to me on many such buses, the voice describing the site is often before or after you have passed the site. I stayed on as long as I could (almost three hours) when I realized Buenos Aires is a large and expansive city and I saw as much as I needed to see. The cost is about $25 dollars and if you have several hours in town with nothing specific to do, this ride will give you lots of ideas.Written 9 March 2024
- FrequentFlier4470310 contributionsPerfect taste of tango! The service was great, many smiling faces. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Endless wine included! And the show was magnificent! Beautiful venue too.Written 9 March 2024
- wenny220 contributionsnot worth the price compare to taking taxithe bus tour is same all over the world, but because taxi is so cheap in Buenos Aires, compared to what we paid for the bus tour, it was not worth it. we would've save money and time if we were taking taxi from point to pointWritten 7 March 2024
- nyeri0 contributionsAn excellent way to get an overview of the city. This is an excellent way to get an overview of the city and various landmarks. I'm not sure how often they run but we never had to wait long before one came along. Buy your tickets from the travel agents next to some of the major stops. Some of the smaller kiosks insist on cash only. The tour covers a vast area of the city and is very informative although sometimes you wonder what building they are talking about. The interesting points appear to be split evenly between the left and right side so you may want to go round twice if you are taking photos, however that would be 5-6 hours so a stop for lunch would be recommended. There is also a Yellow bus option but the red buses appear to be more regular and we were very happy with our trip.Written 7 March 2024
- yigalboss0 contributionsCould v been betterIt is all about frequency the red bus is 20 minutes plus a planned stop at station 8 of 20 minutes ,sometimes you can't get on the bus and v to wait 20 to 30 minutes more . On contrary the yellow bus comes every 10 minutes without leaving people at station.Written 2 March 2024
- Inspire168656632470 contributionsFun night out at Tango AljibeThe atmosphere, music and dancing were terrific. The service was excellent. The steak was so-so. All in all, it was a delightful evening out.Written 29 February 2024
- 747davek0 contributionsA great introduction to Tierra del FuegoWe arrived in Ushuaia a day early for our Antarctica expedition with the intent of taking this tour. We had a wonderful time on our tour of Tierra del Fuego National Park - our guide was excellent, and managed informative narration in three languages, without us feeling we missed something. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and learning a great deal about the people who called this land home before outsiders arrived. The End of the World Train was enjoyable and informative. The recorded narration told a fascinating history of the penal colony that operated in this location. We were surprised to see all the tree stumps remaining as evidence of prisoner labor. We recommend this tour.Written 28 February 2024
- AJMagwan0 contributionsDon’t count on much information. Ok for a 3 hour drive around the city.Very disappointing ! We’ve done many of these tours all over the world usually to give us a bit of background history and to get our bearings. This one was very dissapointing. The commentary was very sparse (when it was working). It wasn’t synced properly and kept cutting off mid sentence. The live announcements spoke over it. There is a lot of sitting in traffic, some stops aren’t marked up and some of the attractions we stopped at were actually closed. You’d be better off pin pointing your exact spots of interest and grabbing a taxi.Written 20 February 2024

- KodoDrummer0 contributionsDid not meet up to the hypeWe took the hop on, hop off bus tour so that my friends could get an overall appreciation of the city. Overall, it did not meet our expectations. Buses are generally of higher quality and the drivers, more helpful.Written 15 February 2024
- petrosb3970 contributionsAvoid, take a cab and prepare with a guide book.Dissapointed, few busses and badly maintained buses with dysfunctional guide system. Very expensive, esprcially compared to taxi prices in Buenos Aires. Avoid.Written 11 February 2024
- OnTheMoveMN0 contributionsNope. The best thing was the guy who took our reservation on the bus. Hard working and very nice. But the tour was a major disappointment. A prerecorded tape that wasn’t synced to the sites. Then music. Bad music. There was no narrative about the history just here’s this or that statue. I’ve done Grey line tours many times and enjoyed them. We left the tour early. Oh yes. Many 10 minute to take on new passengers and listening to terrible music.Written 11 February 2024
- Curiosity609238525330 contributionsDon’t buy this tour it’s a scam, stay away from viator and trip advisor!!!!Do not buy this tour, it’s a scam. We waited with my family for two hours and the bus never came. I called and try to get a refund and they don’t want to give my refund to a tour that never show up. So disappointed with viator and trip advisor never would I use them again with any of my travel!Written 7 February 2024
- Treva G0 contributionsDisappointedDisappointed- long waits for busses - the yellow bus comes a lot faster. Commentary was often not on the actual spot. Also if you speak no Spanish the drivers will not understand you, which is a problem when the bus is full. Next time will do the yellow bus company instead.Written 6 February 2024
- TARDISTOURING0 contributionsBeyond expectationsI saw so much more than what is listed. The stops were convenient (1 block from my hotel). The recording was one of the best I have experienced. By the end of my ticket, I was exhausted and could hardly stay awake following a long flight. The driver and guide (?) were kind beyond words. They made sure they knew what was the closest stop to my hotel and made sure that I got off there. I don't think it's in their job description and I really appreciated it. On-off was far beyond what I expected to see the artistic beauty of Buenos Aires.Written 5 February 2024

The Tango show was fascinating. All dancers really show a lot of passion while performing the dance.

We booked through Viator because it was exactly what we wanted, and the price was right. I would have rated this 5 stars save the fact the city tour was disappointing. The tour was supposed to last four hours but was over in less than three. The tour guide spoke so fast, both in English and Spanish, the descriptions she gave was incomprehensible. Several of us asked her to slow down without success. However, the tango show was amazing . We went to Alacen and enjoyed a four course traditional Argentinean dinner, followed by a spectacular tango show with dancers, singers, indigenius musicians.

We are only here for a couple of days. This Excursion helped us to maximize them. Our first time to Buenos Aires so the Tour and Dinner helped us to really get the "flavor" of the Paris of South America!

Excellent Guide but difficult to follow with mixed languages English and Spanish alternating , forcing her to talk incessantly. Would have liked more stops including Eva Peron’s Cemetery.
Tour guide made best of a rainy day.
Could be more Punctual with pickups. Waited 45 minutes for 8:45 scheduled pickup time in the morning and was picked up at 8:20 for a 7:30 pickup time at night.
Drop off could have been closer to Mayo square.
Wonderful Tango show and dinner.
