      Typical city bus tour
On my way to the Cathedral in Buenos Aires, I spotted the Grey Line tour bus ticket counter in the street. I bought a ticket but did have difficulty finding the pickup spot. Once on the bus, and this has happened to me on many such buses, the voice describing the site is often before or after you have passed the site. I stayed on as long as I could (almost three hours) when I realized Buenos Aires is a large and expansive city and I saw as much as I needed to see. The cost is about $25 dollars and if you have several hours in town with nothing specific to do, this ride will give you lots of ideas.

      Perfect taste of tango!
The service was great, many smiling faces. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Endless wine included! And the show was magnificent! Beautiful venue too.

not worth the price compare to taking taxi
the bus tour is same all over the world, but because taxi is so cheap in Buenos Aires, compared to what we paid for the bus tour, it was not worth it. we would've save money and time if we were taking taxi from point to point

An excellent way to get an overview of the city.
This is an excellent way to get an overview of the city and various landmarks. I'm not sure how often they run but we never had to wait long before one came along. Buy your tickets from the travel agents next to some of the major stops. Some of the smaller kiosks insist on cash only. The tour covers a vast area of the city and is very informative although sometimes you wonder what building they are talking about. The interesting points appear to be split evenly between the left and right side so you may want to go round twice if you are taking photos, however that would be 5-6 hours so a stop for lunch would be recommended. There is also a Yellow bus option but the red buses appear to be more regular and we were very happy with our trip.

      Could v been better
It is all about frequency the red bus is 20 minutes plus a planned stop at station 8 of 20 minutes ,sometimes you can't get on the bus and v to wait 20 to 30 minutes more . On contrary the yellow bus comes every 10 minutes without leaving people at station.

Fun night out at Tango Aljibe
The atmosphere, music and dancing were terrific. The service was excellent. The steak was so-so. All in all, it was a delightful evening out.

A great introduction to Tierra del Fuego
We arrived in Ushuaia a day early for our Antarctica expedition with the intent of taking this tour. We had a wonderful time on our tour of Tierra del Fuego National Park - our guide was excellent, and managed informative narration in three languages, without us feeling we missed something. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and learning a great deal about the people who called this land home before outsiders arrived. The End of the World Train was enjoyable and informative. The recorded narration told a fascinating history of the penal colony that operated in this location. We were surprised to see all the tree stumps remaining as evidence of prisoner labor. We recommend this tour.

Don’t count on much information. Ok for a 3 hour drive around the city.
Very disappointing ! We’ve done many of these tours all over the world usually to give us a bit of background history and to get our bearings. This one was very dissapointing. The commentary was very sparse (when it was working). It wasn’t synced properly and kept cutting off mid sentence. The live announcements spoke over it. There is a lot of sitting in traffic, some stops aren’t marked up and some of the attractions we stopped at were actually closed. You’d be better off pin pointing your exact spots of interest and grabbing a taxi.

Did not meet up to the hype
We took the hop on, hop off bus tour so that my friends could get an overall appreciation of the city. Overall, it did not meet our expectations. Buses are generally of higher quality and the drivers, more helpful.

Avoid, take a cab and prepare with a guide book.
Dissapointed, few busses and badly maintained buses with dysfunctional guide system. Very expensive, esprcially compared to taxi prices in Buenos Aires. Avoid.

      Nope.
The best thing was the guy who took our reservation on the bus. Hard working and very nice. But the tour was a major disappointment. A prerecorded tape that wasn’t synced to the sites. Then music. Bad music. There was no narrative about the history just here’s this or that statue. I’ve done Grey line tours many times and enjoyed them. We left the tour early. Oh yes. Many 10 minute to take on new passengers and listening to terrible music.

Don’t buy this tour it’s a scam, stay away from viator and trip advisor!!!!
Do not buy this tour, it’s a scam. We waited with my family for two hours and the bus never came. I called and try to get a refund and they don’t want to give my refund to a tour that never show up. So disappointed with viator and trip advisor never would I use them again with any of my travel!

      Disappointed
Disappointed- long waits for busses - the yellow bus comes a lot faster. Commentary was often not on the actual spot. Also if you speak no Spanish the drivers will not understand you, which is a problem when the bus is full. Next time will do the yellow bus company instead.

      Beyond expectations
I saw so much more than what is listed. The stops were convenient (1 block from my hotel). The recording was one of the best I have experienced. By the end of my ticket, I was exhausted and could hardly stay awake following a long flight. The driver and guide (?) were kind beyond words. They made sure they knew what was the closest stop to my hotel and made sure that I got off there. I don't think it's in their job description and I really appreciated it. On-off was far beyond what I expected to see the artistic beauty of Buenos Aires.

I have to say each of the three individual events were good (city tour, Tigre Delta River tour) to great (Tango Porteño). The communication, or rather lack of, from the tour operator Gray Lines was pathetic. We purchased the tickets via Viator and was then told future information would come via Gray Lines and to contact them directly. After many repeated requests for information regarding the pick up time I finally got a response only after involving Viator. Unfortunately we then learned they don't pick-up or drop-off in the Palermo area. Getting a time/place to meet for each of the items (they don't flow together and are handed off to others) was incredibly difficult. We were fortunate though that they did pick us up and drop us off at night at our hotel after the Tango Show. Gray Lines evidently is not responsible for each of the tours but rather arranges it with other operators. I think doing these tour options individually or directly would have been a far better option.

Absolutely amazing trip, got to see most of the highlights around Buenos Aires. Great way to knock off a few of the highlights in one day... Only issue it was a very long day, esp only arriving the night prior (15hrs flights) so was falling asleep during the show...

We came into Buenos Aires early for a South America cruise. Looking for a whole day tour, we found this Buenos Aires Super Saver on Viator but were taken back by some of the bad reviews. Was this why the tour was so inexpensive? Well, the short of it was that we did not encounter any of the problems brought up by other tourists. Our tour went smoothly and was thoroughly enjoyable. Yes, it was somewhat lacking in significance and content, so this was not your scholarly educational tour but for a newly arriving tourist, it was great.

We reserved the tour while in the US. But we had no further communications until the day before the tour when we got a cryptic email about an 8PM pickup from our hotel. 8PM??? What about the morning parts of the tour. An attempt to contact the tour operator was futile. So, the morning of the tour, my wife and I stood outside of our hotel speculating on how we would be picked up, where the pickup point would be, or if we would be picked up at all. Our concerns were misplaced. A small bus showed up across the street and the tour guide came running over and called us by name.

Off we went to the Delta for a pleasant boat ride. It was very enjoyable since the weather was perfect. However, you mostly see peoples vacation homes along with a description of how these delta islands were formed and maintained. At the end of the delta tour part, we were hustled out to join another group for the city tour in a large and comfy tour bus. The city tour was informative and enjoyable, even though it was mostly drive by. Well, what can you do with limited time? We learned about all the important neighborhoods and spent time outside of the bus on only two locations. The La Boca stop was the longest, almost an hour. However, we did not stop at the Recoleta cemetery. This part of the tour was educational and interesting but definitely an overview tour – hey that’s ok since we had time to revisit these neighborhoods. Finally, we were picked up at 8PM for our Tango performance at the Tango Porteño. This was the least expensive of the 3 restaurant choices. We had limited expectations, but the steak dinner was excellent. The show was fine, but more general entertainment and modern dance than great tango. The opening act where a woman plays the both male and female tango dancer was the most memorable. The singing and orchestra were good also. Finally, we were whisked off to our hotel in record time. The whole evening was very well organized.

So, it looks like they have really cleaned up their act on this complicated tour. It was well organized and tightly controlled. We had a great time. For the price, it is hard to beat.

TripAdvisor left us hanging in Argentina with no way to confirm our trip arrangements. Only with the diligent help of our hotel concierge were we able to get through to the right Argentine company, and then only after hours of trying. The trip was really 3 separate excursions, one of which concluded with a drop off on the unfamiliar streets of Buenos Aires many blocks from our hotel. Fortunately, we — including one passenger with a walking disability — were eventually able to hail a cab (on our own).

A nightmare!!!Very disorganised and impossible to contact via phone and e-mail regarding the pick up point. I was promised to be pick up at my hotel for the tango show, confirmed the pick up location via what’s app, however they didn’t show up! And denied that we confirmed the pick up location an hour ago! Very unprofessional!

The dinner and tango show were excellent. The Tigre Delta river cruise was delightful. However, the day tour stunk. The bus was late and rushed us through the tour, not stopping in several places. Then, the bus wanted to drop us off 15 blocks from the hotel. We negotiated five blocks from the hotel. It stunk.

We were picked up at 9:10 from our hotel and spent the next hours picking other guests up. We drove for another 80 mins to a cathedral near the port of Fibre where we had a comfort stop.
Boat trip was enjoyable and worth doing, we went the quick way on the return journey and were dropped off in a hotel where we would be picked up 20mins later, hardly enough time for something to eat.
We were then picked up at 2:20 on our way to pick other different guests up, after 50mins we were bock within 50m of where we started and some of us were really tired of sitting in traffic especially after the mornings long trip. The commentary finally started an hour 10mins after we boarded, why they didn't pick some of the other guests up before us left us angry. We could have used that time to get a proper meal.
The firstst stop to see was strange because when we got back to the vehicle there were strangers sitting in our seats, I'm glad my wife didn't leave her handbag on the vehicle. The guide didn't tell us this would happen.
We got off the tour at the 2nd stop as we had seen most of the city on previous day's and the stop was adjacent to our hotel and the unecessary wasted time left us feeling tired and irritable.
This left us with doubts about the tango show.
The show made up for the trials of the day
We went to Cafe Los Angelitos, food unexpectedly good, the waiters kept our beer and wine glasses fully topped up and the show was brilliant - the day ended on a high

The daytime tours were just ok. We waited for an hour after the pick up time and wasted considerable phone credit calling the office to find out if we were going to be collected. The female guide was friendly but spoke so quickly and went from Spanish to English so fast it was really hard to concentrate. The city tour repeated a lot of the morning journey to the river boat. The boat was fully enclosed which was a bit disappointing. The river tour was a bit unnecessary as that stretch is not inhabited by any wildlife. Despite tge late pick up, the tour still ended at the appointed time so i suspect that all river tour guests are collected much later than the agreed time. However, that said, the tango show was fabulous. We were picked up promptly and taken to a beautiful old world style theatre. The food was fabulous, service great and the show was spectacular. This is what brought the rating up to four stars.
