Did the Peninsula Roadtrip tour and it was amazing! Even though it covered “tourist” spots, you definitely felt the local experience and vibe. Would definitely recommend.

These people gladly took my money (about $1,000 USD) 3 months in advance. But 2 weeks before the tours, I hadn't heard anything from them so I reached out to ask about more details. They claimed one of my activities were unavailable. They had 3 months to get everything confirmed and booked but clearly just sat on my money and did nothing. Why wasn't I informed of this earlier? I requested a refund for everything. We'll see if it comes through. Seems very scammy. Book elsewhere!

I enjoyed every bit of the experience. Thulani is an exceptional guide and a fantastic storyteller. I appreciated how he balanced taking us around the different places and letting us explore each one for ourselves. The gin and tonic mix added a thoughtful touch. Fully recommend!

First time in Cape Town and it was amazing with our tour guide Khanya. Our trip was booked with Gate1travel, but we were looking for a more unique and fun experience, which we received with Khanya. Our guide was friendly, on time, very knowledgeable about the history, hidden gems, and really made sure we had a fun time. Khanya made sure we were safe at all times(there was an incident that occurred with locals, but Khanya made sure to still focus on our safety and the fun continued). We ended the day with a lovely gin tonic by the sunset. This was truly one of the best experiences I had in a long time. We had great local food, lovely mountains views, shopping, fun at the beach, great drinks, was able to see animals (like African penguins, Hyrax, common eland, seals, and Bontebok). We were able to go at our own pace and even able to add additional activities along the way.

Such an amazing day! We saw the most incredible spots and the drive to these spots were breath taking. Khanya make sure that you're not only seeing different beautiful spots but really experience them. He has such a warm and fun way of showing you a few of Cape Towns most beautiful highlights.

It's going to be hard to put into words just how extraordinary this excursion was, far beyond anything we could have imagined. Don't hesitate a second before booking, you're in for an unforgettable day. Thulani, our guide, is a passionate, funny, hyper-sociable person, who throughout the day gave us a wealth of information about Cape Town, its history, its flora and fauna. It was a unique experience, as we were able to walk and visit paradisiacal beaches, a nature reserve where we could observe ostriches, monkeys, antelopes, penguins... The day was a succession of places to marvel at. The food provided was delicious and well suited to the places we visited, with fish and chips at lunchtime in the harbor, and bagels in the evening on the beach. The highlight was the beer tasting on the beach and the gin and tonic cocktail at sunset. We didn't have to think about anything (no need to think about renting a car, driving, parking, restaurants, tickets for natural parks, where to find the animals....). We just had to let ourselves be guided and enjoy the wonders of the region. Many thanks to Thulani and his team!

My husband and I booked this tour during our trip to Cape Town. We had rainy weather days so unfortunately we’re the only ones booked for the trip. We were given the option to change dates, get a full refund or pay a bit more for a private tour. We chose the private tour since it was our only day there and we had a lovely time with Khanya as our guide. He made the best of the rainy weather improvising as needed and provided great information. This tour while yes more expensive than others you may see on trip advisor includes all the admission fees along the way as well as lunch, snacks and beverages. Definitely worth the price.

This day trip was incredible! We explored at our own pace, learned tons about local life from our guide Thulani, and enjoyed delicious beer & gin tastings. It felt like a fun adventure with friends, not a crowded bus tour. The itinerary is well planned. Highly recommend!

Andile was a great tour guide and this experience was so worth the money! Would definitely recommend for folks who want to talk in the views and not worry about driving, parking, navigating, etc.

We have done a peninsular day trip with friends, guided by Tulani. This was a very fulfilling day, we have made lots of stops where we had time to explore, tried local cuisine and viewed some breathtaking scenery. Tulani is really knowledgeable, friendly and client orientated. The tour focuses on local experiences and where possible local producers and products. An 11/10 if you wish to see the Bay Area, penguins, Cape of Good Hope and other locations, very well constructed itinerary with delicious food and drinks.

Andile was super professional and is a great tour guide! He is so knowledgeable with personalized take when he explains each spots and locations. Really recommend the tour if you’d like a visit to the Boulder’s Beach and Cape of Good Hope - the best you can get!!
