    Rad quad bike fun
    Such a fantastic day. The quad bikes where more fun than I imagined. Our guide Ketut Soma was really great and we loved the snorkelling at coffee poo. Thank you

    Fun day out
    Great service throughout our trip, Yudi highlighted all the different areas we travelled through. We were collected from Nusa Dua to Ubud. Conversed in English which made it easier for communication. Stopped for detours when we needed a break at the shops. Overall exceptional service. The Quad Biking was enjoyable as well as the swing & monkey forest. We visited all the main attractions, 10/10 would recommend

    Yoga was our driver today. He was incredibly helpful and generous with his time and knowledge of the area and all the activities. Would absolutely recommend him and the Bali quad bike team for a great day. It was so much fun!

    Great driver and guide - White water rafting Ubud
    We had an amazing day, our driver John collected us from our hotel and drove us to Ubud pointing out many amazing features and places to visit along the way! Our white water rafting experience was better than we ever expected with Don’kink as our guide, we had a day my husband, I our two adult boys will never forget. Highly recommend be prepared to get wet and laugh the whole time! John returned us safely and very tired to our hotel in Seminyak, his knowledge and kindness is also very much appreciated.

    We had an amazing experience quad biking and snorkelling, our driver Nanda korek was so welcoming and friendly and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. Spoke good english too. We had such a good time. Very organised and reliable.

    Snorkeling & Waterfall Visit
    Bawa was extremely nice guide! Experiencing, snorkeling and waterfalls were quite satisfactory, waterfalls we went were not very touristic so we could see some hidden parts of Bali without crowds! You can see our selfie with him below!

Stunning Destination but Poor Logistics

We had to present ourselves at 7 AM the next morning for a day tour to Nusa Penida, another island that is 45 minute ferry ride from Sanur. This required foregoing some of our breakfast, as the hotel service did not commence until 7. A few quick bites, and the driver was on time. He introduced himself, and said he would be our guide for the day. We then took the short drive to the ferry, which was close enough to walk, and with traffic, would have been faster. The ferry turned out to be a case of hurry up and wait, because we had to wait 90 minutes to board. The irony is that we could purchase plenty of food in the plaza in lieu of the free food we gave up. In the meantime, the original guide said he could not accompany us after all, and introduced us to his replacement after I had went to the trouble of setting up the WhatsApp contact. The ferry ride over resembled basic economy on a budget airline, packed to the gills with the 4 of us scattered about the cabin. After arriving on the island, additional delays occurred because our new guide was helping track down lost sheep from their other tour groups. Another 15 minutes was lost while the he fetched the car from a remote location. The roads on the island are narrow, twisting, bumpy, so all told, it was 4 hours before was saw the first attraction, stunning as it was: A natural arch is positioned over a raging ocean. We positioned ourselves for photos while looking over our shoulders lest a rogue wave would sweep us out to sea. The second site was as impressive, a beach below massive sea cliffs with iridescent blue waves breaking against the sand. A narrow and treacherous trail wound down to it, but alas, we did not have time for the descent. Next was lunch as we were serenaded by traffic at an unremarkably placed restaurant positioned within an S-curve of a busy road. We wrapped up the day at a Crystal Beach where we could swim, though the big surf, scattered rocks, and relentless Sun were deterrents. The return trip went somewhat better, the ferry actually left 30 minutes ahead of schedule, and we got to sit in a select group of seats on the upper deck, analogous to business class. It seems that the tour group was getting the hint that we were not entirely happy and made some amends. Overall, it is difficult for me to recommend this tour, due to the delays and large amount of time spent in transit.

Great day out, recommend
Great day trip to nusa penida
Beautiful scenery
Stopped at three locations for sight seeing plus one lunch restaurant stop
All inclusive so nothing extra to pay for unless you want more food or drinks
Lovely traditional Indonesian meal for lunch
We had our own tour guide for the full day
Wyoman dirga and Ketut was our driver on the island for the day. Fabulous driver, and exactly what you need for this island as many roads are narrow, steep and rough
Excellent service
They looked after us well
Even on the boat trip Wyoman made sure we were ok as I had a knee and foot injury he made sure the deck hands helped me on and off and got me a seat close
Only issue we had was the fast boat from Sanur to nusa penida ran out of petrol so we were at sea longer and a bit rough while waiting for delivery of more petrol. The staff radioed for more as soon as trouble hit us.

Unprofessional staff - do not recommend
I read some of the reviews and in comparison to others, our tour went well: we didn’t have to wait long to board the boat to go to Island, our guide on the Island (Jidi?) was very nice, funny and shared with us lots of stories on the island. The downside (and completely expected) is the crowd everywhere, but nothing we can do for such touristy place.

My issue with this tour is the driver Dede who was very unprofessional - so much that my friend and I felt uncomfortable for him to drive us back to the hotel, we decided to Grab instead:

1. He contacted me the day before the tour to introduce himself via WhatsApp, which is great. What’s not great is that he’s asking for me to pay for his lunch (I’ve lived in Asia for 8 years and travelled around the region many times, that never happens.). I can’t attach the screenshot for some reasons but he deleted the message after we complained to the agency, clearly he knows he was wrong for that. Too bad I screenshot it before.

2. He picked us up right on time and during the whole time he drove, he tried to sell us hats and accessories that we could buy at arrival. He also wanted to take selfies with us which we refused

3. Before we boarded the boat to go to Nusa Penida, we decided to take a coffee to go - while we are ordering, my friend sees Dede talking to the cashier: what he didn’t know is that she understands Bahasa and he was telling the cashier to charge us MORE!!! Which the cashier refused to do. Once we arrived next to the boat, we were asked to take photos again - which we refused again but they said it was for the staff to recognise us. I quickly realised that we were the only one they asked to.

4. After all of that, we asked to not drive with him as mentioned. However, when we were back at the villa in the evening, someone knocked at the front door: it was two person on a motorcycle asking for me (they said my name) and they said they were looking for Dede… I didn’t realise what was happening and said they were at the wrong door. Nothing else happened but it’s a lot of coincidence to say both our names with what happened earlier……

Despite the amazing guide we had at the island, I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

Pretty Good! But Could be Improved

mangku su team and kamayana were amazing at their service and in providing an enjoyable experience for the group to enjoy. the driver/guide wayang helped to take amazing photos and was very helpful in ensuring that we would get to our itinerary on time and everything was on schedule. however, the food quality for the catered lunch leaves much to be desired. all in all, it was very seamless as they picked us up from the hotel directly and also sent us back to the hotel which helped make the whole experience hassle-free! though i recommend them, the snorkelling experience could be further improved by putting more safety measures in place for the whole group. the waves were very strong and people were swept away but the guide on board did not check and had to be reminded that there were people still on the sea. only then the guide finally did a headcount. also personally i did not snorkel as the waves were too strong for a non swimmer like me to enter the water comfortably.

Nusa Penida
Today we went on a tour of Nusa Penida Island with our guide Ketut Putra Gerhana. He was fantastic!! We had a wonderful time on this beautiful island and it was made better by our guide. He was very knowledgeable, funny and very professional. We felt safe and in good hands the entire time. He was also able to adjust the time to our needs with no issues and he organised everything! We would absolutely do this tour again and request Ketut Putra Gerhana! 10/10 experience!!!

Don't be fooled by big number of good reviews

I am writing this review because I had to delete the previous review. Driver who picked us up from the hotel was punctual, the drive to the port was quick. We had to walk bare foot to the fast boat about 5 metres through water. When we arrived at Nusa Penida we were driven everywhere by a driver and our guide who wasn't really a guide but more like a guy who took some pictures of us and didn't really told us about the places we went. When we arrived at locations he just took some photos and we almost had to run everywhere. When we arrived as the T-rex beach we wanted to go down here and swim, but he said that it would take 2 hours to go down and that we didn't have time. Then he took us to have lunch which was fine, and then took us to crystal bay, which was kind of a sad beach compared to others,but at least we had some time there to relax and swim for almost two hours. When we were driving back to the port the guide asked us to write a review, we agreed but then he said that we need to do this and that he would take us to the restaurant where there would be wifi. When we arrived at the restaurant he just waited for us to write a review, asked us to include a picture of some dog and the to make a screenshot and send it to him and only after we did all this he went to take our boat tickets. That's why we were on the last boat there and had to wait for the boat for two hours in the port, the time ae could've spent in other locations or at the beach. Also we had to walk bare foot in very rocky water for about 50 metres which was realy hard and some people fell in to the water and also had to stand in the water and wait for a boat to pick us up, the boat had engine problems but somehow we managed to go back to the hotel. So the trip was fine, we saw some places but had to run everywhere and didn't have time to enjoy at all, also walking and waiting for the boat in the water was really uncomfortable. The price is way too high for this, it's only worth some money because you don't have to drive yourself in those narrow roads. And also that mandatory review writing in front of the guide was a bit frightning because he only booked us boat tickets after we wrote a reviews and took a screenshot of the review so we were afraid to write a true review as long as we weren't back safely to our hotel. So now I'm writing this reviews because I had to delete the previous one which was fake. This explains why there are so many good reviews in this because reviews are "mandatory" and I think people are sometimes afraid to write real reviews.

Great experience catered to your needs

Everything was great from a prompt pickup from Oka at our designated meeting spot. Check in for the speedboat was super easy as Oka and Ketut Putra Gerhana checked in for us and made everything a breeze. Our driver/guide in Penida was not only a great photographer capturing the best shots, he also catered the agenda to our needs and ensured that we had a great time.

Great experience exploring Nusa Penida!

I am so glad we got to explore Nusa Penida! My husband and I went to Bali for a belated honeymoon. We were only there for a week and wanted to see as much of Bali as we could in the short amount of time. We signed up for a tour of Nusa Penida and had the best tour guide!

Mangku Su and his team were so kind and informative. His wife picked us up from our hotel to take us to the Ferry with plenty of time to spare.

Once on the island, Mangku su drove us all around the various beaches where he then proceeded to suggest the perfect places to take photographs while offering to hold our bags so they wouldn't be in the pictures!

During the drive around the island he gave us insight into Balinese culture and beliefs. After stopping at a few beaches, we had a nice quick lunch and ultimately ended the cliff tour at Kelingking Beach. The views were breathtaking and we now have memorable moments captured with such a beautiful backdrop.

We ended the tour on the beach where we got to relax for a few hours before catching the ferry home. Mangku Su ensured we got the top deck of the Ferry and his team got us back to our driver at the opposite shore to drive us back to our hotel!

Wonderful day tour

This was a great day seeing all of the highlights of the island. Ketut Putra Gerhana was my guide and he captured all of the best photo opportunities, which was fantastic as I was a solo traveler! Yoga was a great driver who picked me up at my hostel & fought morning traffic to drop me at the boat harbor on time. After seeing the most iconic spots on Nusa Penida and a nice lunch, I was able to relax for a few hours at the Crystal Bay beach. I would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see the best Nusa Penida has to offer in one day. Thank you Ketut Putra Gerhana & Yoga for a great tour!

Not a private tour

This is not a private tour and we ended up asking to be brought back early. We were picked up at 7 AM and driven to a parking lot near the port but still had to walk 20 minutes to the actual check in spot and then wait over an hour to get on the crowded transport boat that takes you to Nusa Penida (with about 100 other people). Once we arrived at Nusa Penida, we were met by our guides/drivers but didn't arrive to our first destination - Broken Beach - until 11 AM. which was just a photo shoot area with dozens of other tourists on their "private tours" waiting their turn for the same photo opportunity. Broken Beach is an amazing view but by that point, we with the heat, humidity and crowd, we were feeling pretty frustrated with the tour. After seeing Angel Billabong which was all right (it had rained the previous day so that the water was cloudy), we then spent a 1/2 hour traveling to a restaurant for lunch which was a tourist dive. At that point, we decided we would just see Crystal Bay which turned out to be overrated and very crowded) and then asked to be taken back to the port so that we could take a crowded fastboat back to Sanur. The tour guides on Nusa Penida were very nice but overall I can't recommend this tour.
