Well worth our time and money
I was with the crew of Kevin, Taz, and Monica. The older gentleman who drove the bus was outstanding. He gave us an overview of Juneau as he drove. We stopped to pick up a group who had been at Mendenhall Glacier on the way to the marina, so although we didn't get to go inside the visitors center we did get to see the glacier. Monica explained about the whales migration and other facts all the way to the whale site. The whole crew was very conscious of safety the entire trip. I don't know how many individual whales we saw, but I saw probably two dozen times when they came to the surface. Generally you see what looks like a puff of steam and then a flick of their tails. We paid $210 for two of us. We were gone probably 2-3 hours. I can't suggest anything that would have improved our experience. It was well worth it.

Mother and Calf Up Close
Sep 2021
This was a awesome trip even with the rain coming down most of the time. We saw several humpback whales, but the best was when a mother and calf came alongside the boat to check us out. Our host were great - Ben, Monica, and Sarah.

Last minute decision that turned out to be one of the coolest portions of my trip thru Alaska. Saw a mother and her calf who both breached which was insane to see. Whales also came close to the boat which you really got to see how enormous these things are
