Rarotonga Glass Bottom Lagoon Cruise
From US$55.14
Overview
Get a window into Muri Lagoon's underwater world during this 3.5-hour cruise on a glass-bottom boat. Listen to your crew play the ukelele as you watch the fish swim among the vibrant coral, with the option to dive in for some snorkeling. Go ashore on Koromiri Islet for a barbecue meal. A portion of your ticket cost supports a marine conservation fund. Round-trip transportation from accommodations in the Ngatangiia District is included for an additional fee.
What to Expect
Begin your half-day excursion on Muri Lagoon with a morning pickup at your accommodation (for an additional fee) in the Ngatangiia District. The cruise leaves at 10, so you'll be collected at your hotel prior to that.
Step aboard the glass-bottom boat, where a friendly and entertaining crew will be waiting to assist you. When you reach the Tikioki marine site, you can dive in for some snorkeling among the marine life or just watch the action through the clear bottom of the boat.
Go ashore on Kormiri Islet for a barbecue meal, followed by a show of palm tree climbing and coconut husking. At the end of your tour, get dropped off at your accommodation.

Better of the two lagoon tours

We did both the lagoon tours and while you won’t be disappointed with either, the Koka Lagoon Tour was more lively and upbeat with better island entertainment. You can’t help but move to the music they play, it’s so infectious and happy. The water was...More

Fantastic Fun, Basic Food

An absolute blast of a trip, tremendous snorkeling and brilliant entertainment. The only downside is the poor quality cheap food for the price. Also the only drinks provided are water from a communal jug in dirty cups. Wouldn’t hurt to spend a few dollars per...More

I'm pretty certain you could probably arrange this is one of your excursions via your cruise ship stopover. My mother was on a cruise and she did a different glass bottom boat. If your cruise ship isn't offering this trip... More

sorry for the delay - yes no problem boarding the boat at all, you walk straight on, as they park it right on the beach and they have a ladder when out in the sea and very easy to get in and out of

There are bathrooms before you leave and at the island where you have lunch you probably wont need a bathroom on the boat the trip it is not to far to the island after you have been snorkling.
