    We made the trip up the winding in-line almost to the volcano only to be disappointed to find a road barrier that said open from 7am -1:15pm.

    We visited 3/29/19 at 8:00am and saw very little due tomorrow the fog. However, the ticketing process using Trip Advisor was much easier than the National Park website!(

    Not too far a drive from the SN Jose International Nail Airport and well worth the drive. This is an active Volcano so you see the bubbling and smell the output. It’s not dangerous but it’s recommended you leave after 20 minutes or so of...More
