Great guides make for great days
Dinesh made it clear at the start that this was our tour and his wish was to make it as memorable and personal as possible. He did just that by deftly combining the separate sightseeing and food tours into one seamless day of tastes, smells and memories of Mumbai. We got to see the sights that are on most itineraries, but Dinesh’s little side trips to some hidden spots and favorite food stops made the day extra special.

Great, AMAZING tour from Amaze Tours and Dinesh!
Lawson, who makes the arrangements, was very kind and patient. We booked this as a shore excursion exactly one day before arriving. He absolutely went way out of his way to customize the trip exactly for what I wanted to see and do. The guide Dinesh was our very best guide we have had in Asia. Price was definitely fair and it was so worth it. What more can anyone want? Highly recommend Amaze Tours and Dinesh without hesitation. PS They also have tours in Goa, Kochi, Delhi and Jaipur

Amazing tour around a truely beautiful city!
We were met at our hotel reception at the precise pickup time by our Driver Mr Muktar and tour Guide Mr Denish. The car was tidy, comfortable and well airconditioned. Mr Denish had prepared a wonderful itinerary for us his local knowledge and connection meant our tour was not just a hop off hop on, we were taken deep into the cities rich cultural landmarks and having experiences that we would never have been able to have exploring alone! Like being invited to walk through the largest open air laundry in the world. Mr Denish’s knowledge of the history and culture of this beautiful city was second to none and his wicked sense of humour kept us entertained all day! I would highly recommend this tour!!

Siem Raep interesting experience with knowledgeable tour guide Sam
On our 4 day trip to Siem Raep we were lucky that Asia Highlights , the travel organisation for our trip, appointed Sam as our tour guide . He is very knowledgeable and gave us extensive information about the history and culture of the temple complex, in Angor Wat, the Bayon temple and the very impressive Ta Prohm temple complex were the roots of the huge trees have overgrown the temple walls. He didn't rush us when we stopped to take pictures. He informed us about various restoration projects taking place at the temples. Sam made sure we were comfortable as the temperature was into 36°C. For example by adapting the itinerary of activities so that we visited the sites which require extensive walking, in the early morning when it wasn't very hot yet. And indoor activities in the afternoon. During the tours we had lunch at some nice restaurants and Sam gave recommendations to taste Cambodian food that was delicious. Interesting to see during a tour, were the houses in the fisherman village at the waterway leading to Tonle Sap Lake on very high stilts/ pillars. We learned that this was necessary , as the area is completely floaded during the rainy season. Sam and the assigned driver were always on time. And very polite. Bottle of cold water was provided during our tours and a nice refreshing towel when we entered the van after each stop of the itinerary. As our tour was a private tour it was always possible to make stops for taking pictures . We experienced Siem Raep as a beautiful and interesting city with very friendly people. It was nice that we could communicate with our knowledgeable tourguide Sam, the hotel staff , tuk tuk driver and vendors at various locations as they speak English very well. Made the experience so much more personal.

Aaravi beach Trip - Amaze Tours !
Leroy is my childhood friend and I'm very proud to see how he has build this business (Amaze Tours) and scaled up to such great heights. We reached out to Leroy and asked him to suggest some place for a boys trip. He He suggested this awesome location where we stayed in a resort which is next to the beach and its so secluded from other tourist locations that are mostly crowded. It is like a private beach with absolutely no one at sight except our group and may be a bunch of people here and there. Golden sand, blue water, clean beach with no trash or loitering of garbage or food packets or bottles that we usually sea at beach side. Local food here was decent too (i'll compromise food to the place :P) and since we had carried our fishing rods, we could do some fishing too - just that we were out of luck :) He gave us door step pick up and drop service. I think we streched it too far and took advantage of he being our friend. He is will informed about the route, knows what time you should plan to leave and how to avoid traffic etc. Thanks Amaze Tours.

We took a half day unplugged tour with Danesh. Danesh was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and took us to places we thought we would enjoy and we did! He was also extremely accommodating and went out of his way for us as we were supposed to be on a morning tour but arrived in town early that morning and missed the tour because we were just exhausted. He texted me that morning and rearranged the tour for us to meet him In The afternoon instead so as we wouldn’t miss the experience. He certainly didn’t have to do that and it shows the company and his commitment to their customers. Well done. HIGHLY REFOMMENDED.

This tour with Nainish was the highlight of our trip to India. The experience was surreal with the Dharavi tour, local train and bus ride, as well as the Dhobi Ghat tour. Nainish was truly experienced, knowledgeable and self aware at all times which made us comfortable in our surroundings in the new environments. I would highly recommend this tour. One cannot go to Mumbai and not experience the pulse of it. When asked why the locals refer to Bombay whereas foreigners, Mumbai, Nainish's response was 'Mumbai is a city of dreams, whereas Bombay is an emotion.' I will never forget that.

Dinesh is one of the guides I have ever met. Aparte from having a deep knowledge from the áreas we visited, he made me feel very secure and in Good Hands. I Frankly recommend him to do any tour in Mumbai. I travelled by my own and he made me feel very comfortable visiting dharavi , dobby ghat and the dabhawallas' story

Really phenomenal tour giving us a look at the lives of individuals and families living in Dharavi. I felt that going through here I got a much more real sense of what life is like in Bombay. Even in the pouring rain we had a really good time, even better I say since then you see how people adapt to the rain. Top notch experience

This was truly a unique, fun, and interesting tour. Our tour guide Alam was very knowledgeable and patient with us. He was also fun. So much history and culture in Mumbai. He explained to us customs and the differences. He also took us to a spiritual temple where we saw locals gathering and puja ceremonies. We had informed him that we wanted to eat some street food for lunch. He took us to a vegetarian in what I like to call a mom-and-pop shop. Majority of us in our group are not vegetarian but he said he would order for us, and we would forget completely that there was no meat in the food. MAN was he right!!! The food was so delicious. We ordered seconds. We then went to the Elephanta Cave tour with Daivat. Another kind and pleasant tour guide. While on the boat ride to the island he came around make sure we were seated and offered drinks if we need it. Loved that he was a native to the island and gave us precious insight. He took us through the short cut to the caves which was a short hike. The view was incredible. While in the cave he gave us the history and background to it all. Interesting that it hasn’t even been 10yrs since the island has had electricity. WILD! Definitely worth it don’t hesitate to book!!!!

I have been travelling India for the past 5 weeks, and this was the best guide I had so far. He knew a lot of things, and made the whole day more like an easygoing dialog instead of just rambling off a billion facts. The tour was deffinately worth doing, felt safe all the way, and what I saw and heard was surprising and not something I could have expirenced on my own. Especially the lunchboxsystem and slumtour really blew me.
Inside Dhobi ghat, you have to follow a different guide. He wasnt very good (hard to understand/ walking very fast/eager to get tip) but own guide had prepared me for this beforehand, and that was very good because then I could just take it as an experience instead of being frustrated.
On the tour we had to meet up with two other guys, who only joined for the slumtour part. It was great with a small group like this.

This tour was very good and covered a lot of territory. Both the laundry and Dharavi were thoroughly explained and we were provided with an invaluable and culturally sensitive perspective. Upon arrival we were told the Dabbawalla portion couldn’t run because of the holiday (understandable) but no partial refund or alternative option was given. We also spent an hour waiting for/tracking down a guest which took away from the substance of the already trimmed down tour. None of these unfortunate happenings was the tour guides’s fault. He was professional, approachable, and clearly loves his city. I would recommend!
