Our tour guide Nathalia was amazing. She arrived early, so we were able to start early to avoid the intense heat of the day. She was knowledgeable about the tour area and history and answered all of our questions. She was able to suggest other areas we can visit tailored to our interests. We absolutely recommend Nathalia and this walking tour.

Nice venue for a summer dinner overlooking the Mt Hope Bay from a Fall River vantage point. Whether sitting outside or under the partially enclosed tent the views are still spectacular. And the food was outstanding too! Two of us enjoyed the swordfish and two dined on the haddock. Both were very fresh and perfectly cooked. For appetizers we started with the calamari and crab nachos. Both were excellent - but the nachos did disappear first. A little pricey - but it was a "nice" dining experience not just a "pub night" out. The tab for the two apps, four meals, three drinks apiece, tax and tip came to $360. One caveat though - THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CASH!!!!!!!!!!!! Credit card only - although you can pay for your tip in cash. There were no signs telling us of this policy. It was not printed on the menu either. Apparently the server is supposed to tell you of that BEFORE you order - but ours "forgot". We would definitely go back again before they close for the winter - but remember no cash just bring the credit card!

Whoa. We were on a tour and taken here for our first group meal. There is an amazing area with all the side dishes you could probably want, don't fill up your plate because the meat is coming. We had many many cuts of steak, ham, pork, chicken--there must have been 20 meats offered on skewers that were sliced at your table. Warning, do not fill up with the "appetizers." Really, this is something to experience. Brazil at it's finest.

Great service our girl Grace and of course Paulo Henrique Soares Fonse, 5-Star Service. Great dinner, great experience. My birthday celebration with my family. Definitely have Paulo take care of us again. He handled everything beautifully.

We had a wonderful meal here and the price at the time was 160 Reis per person for dinner. The pricing is about the same as in the US. Several people recommended the other famous churrascaria restaurant in town; however, we were not disappointed with this locations service or food. It was a short walk form our Airbnb on Red Beach. The view from the deck is really nice in the evening. The salad bar is amazing. If the other guys are better than this then I can't wait to try them as well. Highly recommend.

We did not manage to go on this trip, we tried to contact the trip organizer to find out the pick up point as it was not specified. I got no response not even after the event had passed, would not recommend using this service, unprofessional. The whole party was very upset that we could not go.

My family and I booked some trips in our stay in Rio de Janeiro. This was one of them. I really expected this to be one of the best since I like the schooners. It was the opposite. I tried contacting the operator more than 24 hours in advance since I wanted to know when / where would the pickup be. The operator "Rio.Tours Turismo LTDA" never picked up the phone, never replied my emails. There's no webpage, facebook page, nothing... I managed to get their physical address and drove there to see what happened and it turned out to be an apartments suite. One person came out and told me that the "tour would not take place until next Monday..."... what ??? why the offer is available in the system if the operator would not carry out the activity? This is a fraud. Travelers watch out and book with other operator, never with this or "Brazil Guru" that is basically the same person (not even a company) Trip Advisor should investigate this fraud since there are more reviews very similar to this one with the same terrible experiences!!

We were to be picked up at our hotel at 12 noon. Tour never showed up. After waiting 1/2 hour I called the"tour operator" listed on the confirmation email from Viator. They did not recognize the tour and hung up. I sent 2 emails to Viator with no response. I had our hotel call the tour operator again, with a promise that someone would get back to me. Nothing happened. We were completly upset. After waiting for 2 more hours, we hired a taxi and made our own tour. We will think twice before booking another tour with Viator. We do expect a complete refund.

What was meant to be a highlight of our trip was a disater. Others on the trip felt the same. Driver turned up late and had zero English. Was total confusion all night, no-one knew what was going on and nothing was included. Sent emails to contact person (Michael) re pick up and he was unhelpful. Then when we tried to contact him post our trip he would not reply Avoid these guys and go there by taxi.

Almost all shops are closed, few points still open (i think around 5 shops and restaurants). Not worth visiting. It's a shame i loved the place.

I paid in full and NO tour guide ever called or showed up!!!!! I called and emailed and called and emailed without luck.

Everything was amazing and the buffet lunch was great not forgetting our tour guide... It was a great experience. Tour guide kept on updating us with everything and he was patient also understanding Z😃😃

We took a short helicopter ride over the falls. I was placed in the middle so it was difficult to take photos and enjoy the views. There was no commentary from the pilot. We waited until we were at the falls to buy our tickets because we didn't want to spend the money if the weather was poor. As it turns out, the cost is only $100 if you buy directly from the helicopter company. We much preferred our experience on a boat that takes you along the river and into the spray of the falls.

We had a great time! Our guide (Mikhaela) was very nice, helpful and fun. We decided to stay at our second bar as it had a great DJ, fun crowd and good vibe. I would discuss dinner options in advance of the meeting point/location. Great way to sort through the options to find the best in the city!
