What to Expect
You'll depart at 8:00am, or earlier in case it is high season. You'll drive to Corcovado station and ride the train up the mountain to see the beautiful statue of Christ the Redeemer. You can stay there as long as you want. After that, you'll go to see some points of interest including the Metropolitan Cathedral , The Sambodromo where the carnival Parade takes place, the opera House and Colombo tea house where you can stop for a quick lunch or a snack.

Afterward, you'll visit Sugar Loaf to ride the cable car up and enjoying the gorgeous view. Before that or after, depending how things go, such as weather and traffic, you will also visit Copacabana and Ipanema beach with the option of visiting the hang gliding beach or the soccer stadium Maracana. All of this is done to suit your needs and pace, avoiding lines and waiting around.
