Itinerary
- 1Start your day with a hotel pickup from your Bodrum hotel, and then board your hydrofoil in Bodrum to cruise southwest to the island of Kos, roughly twenty minutes away. The most easterly Greek island, Kos sits adrift in the southeastern Aegean Sea and boasts paradisaical scenery and history in equal measures. After docking at the port, how you spend your time on the gorgeous island is up to you. All entrance fees, food and drinks are at your own expense. Follow the footsteps of sun worshipers to the island’s best beaches and enjoy a day of soaking up the sun on the sand. Visit Paradise Beach for soft sand and calm waters, relax in tranquil seclusion at Limnionas Beach or maybe stroll along the pebbled shores of Agios Theologos Beach. If you are keen to discover the island’s urban delights, head into Kos town to explore its palm-fringed streets, thronged with restaurants, bars and shops. The town is home to some of the island’s more interesting historical landmarks and Roman ruins. Perhaps pay a visit to the Castle of the Knights (Kos Nerantzia Castle), to explore the ruined towers, battlements and ramparts that date to the days of the knights’ reign. The group of Christian crusaders occupied the city from the 14th century for some 200 years. Having enjoyed your day, make your own way back to the island’s port at the prearranged time. Then, simply re-board your hydrofoil, and cruise back over the sea to Bodrum. Your independent day trip then finishes with a drop-off at your Bodrum hotel.
About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Navigate637832736610 contributionsGood venues, very good guide, poor organisationThis is a difficult one to review. Positives The tour guide - Emma was very good and very informative. She even helped us two days later on a tour that she wasn’t part of The place itself was brilliant. Well worth visiting Negatives The pick up was late The tour could have been much shorter. The diamond factory and Turkish delight factory tours were a waste of time It felt disorganised. There was no English speaking guide until Emma joined the tour an hour into the coach trip The trip was overbooked which meant I had to sit next to the driver (for 6/7 hours). This also meant that we struggled to hear the guide around the site - not her fault! There were two coaches All in all the organisation was poor but the place and guide was very goodWritten 5 October 2024
- L3137UYandrewl0 contributionsGreat place, but early start and in a big group difficult to hear guide. However guide was brilliantThe guide was absolutely brilliant. She was so enthused and friendly she really made the experience. However we had changed our booking to another day and it was clear that there were not enough spaces on the coach so that’s one of my friends had to sit on the front seat with the driver and the poor guide sitting on the step. The journey is long and therefore was uncomfortable for them and clearly for the guide. Once at Ephesus the guide was again brilliant but the place was so busy and our group so big that it was difficult to get close and hear what she was saying sometimes. It would be good in similar circumstances if each tourist was given an ear piece so that they could hear clearly what the guide was saying.Written 5 October 2024
- Lilly6660 contributionsAmazing placeFabulous experience. Really worth the trip. So interesting and historic Be careful of the jewellery centre on the way to Ephesus.Written 17 September 2024
- Janderson13620 contributionsNice Treatment but Very DisorganizedThe actual spa experience was very nice. The spa was clean and pleasant. We started with a sauna and then we moved to their wet area and waited an inordinate amount of time before they started the actual bath. When they finally got to us, the scrub, soap and rinse was very nice. Then there was more waiting before a wonderful massage. They tried to upsell us to a longer massage, but we kept the 45 minute that they booked. The downside was the lack of organization of the whole experience. We waited for everything from being picked up to the actual. There didn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to the order that they took people. Several people who came after us were taken ahead of us. It seemed like they booked too many people for the number of staff they had working. If they can figure out the logistics of the whole thing, it would be a really nice experience.Written 17 May 2024
- PattyG6560 contributionsBuyer beware - shady tour operatorTour agency never came. We were to be picked at 9:30. No one came. Met some taxi drivers that called the tour agency. They claimed I was to meet them at security gate. And was to check in 48 hours before the tour??? Then they said we were not at right place for meetup. We were there. We had walked up and down the street too. Then the tour agency said we were not to be picked up but rather we were expected to make it to the spa ourselves??? We paid for a return transfer from cruise ship? Then they said they would personally pick us up at 10:30am. Again - no one came….Time is the one thing you can never get back. And when on a cruise you have limited time. BUYER BEWARE!!! We are fortunate to have a travel cc to get reimbursed but will first connect with TripAdvisor for refund from this shady tour company. …If want to wait in a parking lot for 2 hours and made out to be a liar - this tour is for you!!! If not - my advice, hail a cab or walk to spa yourself…end of story, we just walked around the town and sadly did not end up going to a spa that day, no timeWritten 12 May 2024
- Fritsenmaya0 contributionsHorrible tripMost horrible trip ever! A bus full of Russians! A tour guide that almost shouted for half an hour in russian. It was not possible to talk anymore. No respect at all for the situation and fascist russian invasion in Ukraine. We booked Efes, but we were dropped in a second rate gem factory for 45 minutes and afterwards in a turkish delight factory. Maybe that’s what russians are more interested in.Written 14 October 2022
- karync6700 contributionsWell worth itThoroughly enjoyed this trip and believe it was well worth the cost. We stopped for breakfast at a restaurant by Lake Baka which had beautiful/ scenic views on the way to Ephesus. Our guide Emet (or Emily) was very knowledgeable, friendly and well organised. Ephesus itself is incredible if you are in to history etc. Felt that the time spent in Ephesus was good/sufficient. Lunch on the way back was a buffet and decent choice of hot/ cold food items. Overall I would recommend this trip.Written 10 October 2022
- Adventurer6507610 contributionsWorth visitingSo much history! I was really impressed by the sights. It was hot and there was very little shade, so be prepared with sunscreen and a hat. The guide was great, knowledgeable and friendly. Hotel pick up and drop off were well organized and on time. I felt lunch was rushed and I was not impressed with the food, but everything else was great.Written 29 July 2022
- Traveler309080539730 contributionsThat good I booked for a second experienceWhat a lovely and very professional place for a Turkish massage. Not sleazy and have their own female baths room and also a communal bath.Written 28 July 2022

- drjonestony0 contributionsEnjoyed Ephesus, did not appreciate the side griftsThe tour itself in Ephesus was excellent, and our guide was very knowledgable. Ephesus is a breathtaking site with the best Roman ruins in the Eastern Mediterranean. However, be prepared for the guide and tour company to add on agenda items that are not advertised: visits to stores and other sites, all of which cost money and are obviously a grift.Written 17 April 2022
- Cosmopolitan5475270 contributionsPirate ship - unimpressedStaff were very friendly but this was a priate boat (unlike any boats in the picture) more suited for people wanting to listen to euro dance music in groups. No towels and not 8 hours like stated. Drinks offering very poor.Written 30 September 2020
- TheSchaf19840 contributionsCrystal Clear WaterIt was a great way to spend the day on the water around Bodrum. The crew was friendly but not overly attentive which was perfectly suited for this sort of trip. The water is incredibly clear and blue, which was amazing. Aside for 2-3 types of fish there wasn’t much to see. I think just swimming in the open water was absolutely worth it.Written 4 September 2020
- claessonstravel0 contributionsExcellent transportation to Bodrum CityMy husband and friend and I have taken this service a few times from Milas-Bodrum airport into Bodrum City. Great prices. Wonderful comfortable buses this company has. Comfortable ride as well. Thank you we will continue to use this service. RECOMMENDED!!!Written 4 December 2019

The transfer itself was nice and worth the price! But arriving at the port you must cross the vendor with the fake stuff, those people will try everything to literally pull you in their shops and sell you cheap replica for ridiculous price. Also the real points of interest I.e the under water museum and the castle are both under renovation until 2020..so unless buying cheap fake things for extravagant tourist price is on the menu..there is really no reason for the effort.

Hi,
Thanks for your review.
We offer only transfer and ferry tickets as arbek tourism.
The condition of the shops is not our responsibility.
Thank you for the information that the underwater museum and the castle is under restoration.
We were pleased that you did not have any problems with transfers and ferry tickets.
I would ask you to review the traveler rating for Arbek Turizm.

The city of Kos isn't very interesting. There is unnecessary to use the colorful tourist train 'cause just 2-3 places deserves to be watched/visited. The beach is good.

The trip itself was great, we enjoyed Kos Town, however, organisation at both Bodrum and Kos ports in respect of immigration was incredibly chaotic both ways, there was a totally unmanaged crowd of people not knowing where to line up or which direction to go in, we would have made a second trip during our two week stay in Bodrum, however, the chaos at both ports put us off!

Hello,
Your comment is valuable to us.
We will discuss with the authorities on this issue and evaluate how a regulation can be made. We do our best for easy entry and exit of the guests, but sometimes too many checks at the customs point cause problems. We cannot prevent this.
