- 1Depart Kuala Lumpur for Port Klang in an hour – Malaysia’s busiest port. The 30 minute ferry ride offers a panoramic view of the busy harbour and the mangrove swamps of nearby islands. On arrival at Pulau Ketam, take a leisurely stroll to see how an entire fishing community lives in a village where even the roads are build on stilts. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, catch the ferry for return trip to Port Klang. Drive up to view the fabulous palace of the Selangor Sultan. Visit the Sultan Salahuddin Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque. He had great communication, kept it interesting, provided great hisical details and all around made it a fun tour. On top of the tour, I had a need to find a pharmacy to pick up some medication. He went out of his way to help me find a pharmacy, and walk with me to show me the how to get there. After we started walking away from him he yelled for us to come back and instead of allowing us to walk there n our own he had a different driver with his tour company (that was driving a minivan sized bus and was waiting on other guests) drive us to a pharmacy wait on us, then drive us back so we Did not have to walk on our own. This showed my how good a company this is. Mr Stephen deserves a raise and applause for taking care of the customer. He we above and beyond for his guests in this instance. Wilson did a fantastic job explaining the history of the area and gave us interesting insights into each spot we visited. He also did a good job keeping a very diverse group together and paced the walking so everyone could keep up. Malacca is a lovely little town and definitely worth a visit. We enjoyed the free time in the afternoon as everyone could spend time doing what interested them. The only disappointment was the lunch which we found bland. Sky Palace, Blue Mosque, and finally Crab Island, attractions and transportation routes arranged appropriately, the itinerary is rich.
