Very interesting

We didn't mind this excursion. Took the train all of the way which did take time. It was a trek up so be prepared to climb. We don't see monkeys at home so our family enjoyed it.

Batu Caves A place you must visit.

Batu Caves are amazing place to see. Dark Caves is just like hell , Dark and full of fear. And Other Cave is very beautiful you see sun shining on sky inside cave. Birds singing. It is full of natural beauty.

Very Depressing

This is so touristy - tacky stores, dirty and unkempt. Not worth the train ride there - unless it has religious importance to you, probably just skip it

Monkey monkeys

Easy to get to by train, long walk up the stairs to the caves but well worth it. Monkey, monkey, monkeys. What an experience my husbands favorite part of the trip.

I don’t think it matters what time you go. I would find someone to take you INTO the caves not just drop you off as many of the travel guides do. We were left to fend for ourselves and did not enjoy the trip at all.

we took a taxi since we had a group of four. The Batu Caves entrance is free. Women must cover their shoulders and knees if I remember right.

It was in late April. But to be honest I wouldn't waste my time and energy going. It is hot, crowded, noisey and filthy.
