For many, arriving in an unfamiliar country can be disorienting, and organizing itineraries can be quite the challenge. Leave that to someone else with this trip to the Batu Caves from Kuala Lumpur. Delve into the history of the Batu Caves, and then visit the Malaysian Batik Centre and Royal Selangor Pewter Visitor Centre. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included.
What to Expect

This tour begins with hotel pickup in Kuala Lumpur. If you’ve just arrived to the city, the scenic drive provides a good way to orient yourself.

You’ll arrive at the Batu Caves, limestone masses home to golden Hindu shrines and a plethora of grey macaques. Let your guide bring the Hindu history of the monument to life and ascend 272 steps to the statue of Lord Murugan.

Following a tour of the Cathedral Cave, you’ll head to the Malaysian Batik Centre and Royal Selangor Pewter Visitor Centre to further explore Malaysian culture by hearing about two of the country's most popular handicrafts.

Afterward, climb back onto your coach and return to your Kuala Lumpur hotel.

We took a taxi to the Batu Caves. The entrance is FREE to get in. The earlier the better because of the heat. Good Luck and enjoy!

Batu Caves are open 6-21.00. Sometimes they can be closed, because many refurbishment works on the premises. Preferably go there with a taxi (which can wait for you as long as you need to visit the caves). If you want to... More

It free to go into the cave. But my advice is give it a miss. Hot, noisey and dirty.
