Overview
For many, arriving in an unfamiliar country can be disorienting, and organizing itineraries can be quite the challenge. Leave that to someone else with this afternoon trip to the Batu Caves from Kuala Lumpur. See the neighborhood of Little India on the drive, and delve into the history of the Batu Caves, a must-see Hindu attraction famed for its resplendent gold statue. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included.
What to Expect

This tour begins with hotel pickup in Kuala Lumpur. Embark on a journey through Little India, a multicultural neighborhood famed for its colorful buildings. If you’ve just arrived to the city, the scenic drive provides a good way to orient yourself.

You’ll arrive at the Batu Caves, limestone masses home to golden Hindu shrines and a plethora of grey macaques. Let your guide bring the Hindu history of the monument to life and ascend 272 steps to the statue of Lord Murugan.

Following a tour of the Cathedral Cave, you’ll climb back onto your coach and return to your Kuala Lumpur hotel.

Great Tour Guide and Tour

Great fun travelling to the Batu Caves, learning the history and checking out on of the Chinese Temple’s. Recommended for all.

Very good

Very knowledgeable driver and interesting tour. It is definitely worth paying a few dollars more to use this option, than to go by dirty local public transport without knowing how it will end.

Batu Cave tour

Just an expensive taxi service. Only plus- Mini bus has air-conditioning. I wouldn't recommend this company.

I don’t think it matters what time you go. I would find someone to take you INTO the caves not just drop you off as many of the travel guides do. We were left to fend for ourselves and did not enjoy the trip at all.

It free to go into the cave. But my advice is give it a miss. Hot, noisey and dirty.

It was in late April. But to be honest I wouldn't waste my time and energy going. It is hot, crowded, noisey and filthy.
