Terracotta Warriors Tour company and their guide Linda are the best!
Working with Terracotta Warriors Tour was great. Olivia was very responsive and worked with us to tailor this tour for our schedule to see the show one night and tour the other day. Olivia also gave us a superb guide, Linda and an amazing driver for the entire time we were in Xian. Linda, a local from Xian, was of course very knowledgeble about the history of this area and the Terracotta Warriors. She spoke excellent English, was very easy to understand and could not have managed the day more perfectly for us to see far more than we had even hoped would be possible. This was quite a feat, especially for our incredible driver navigating road closures due to the Chinese New Year celebrations and icy conditions. She selected a great restaurant near the Warriors Museum, whose staff was great as was the food and tea that Linda suggested. Linda also showed us numerous areas within the old city walls, which were added highlights to the day. Hats off to the Terracotta Warriors Tour Company and to the guide Linda and the driver they had for us. We had a perfect day, ending with the Tang Dynasty dinner show with the most ideal seats in the house!

          Half Day Tour Terracotta Army
Eddie and a driver picked us up from the Xian airport and took us for a tour of the Terracotta Army. Everything worked extremely efficiently and flawlessly. Eddie speaks excellent English and is highly knowledgeable about the warriors. Despite a very crowded site he whisked us through the entrances and exits, showed us the highlights and gave us a comprehensive appreciation of the history and significance of this amazing piece of history. Highly recommended!

Nothing to properly say that hasn't been Said .before but this is a must view in Xian .just be where it is extremely busy with lots of pushing and shoving to get pics at busy times.....we went early on tour bus 9am was mental 1000*s off people ...then I noticed around lunched time was less than 1/3 as busies had gone..recommend if travelling on your own .go after lunch would be less stressful

          Great English guide
We took a private tour of the terracotta and huaqing hot springs. The tour was fantastic and our guide, Eddie was very knowledgeable about the history of the terracotta. There are lots of people there but it was relatively easy for us as all the tickets were purchased before hand. We had our tour in English which was a huge plus point as neither of us spoke very good mandarin, let alone reading. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an English guide and wants to maximise your day in Xian

Make an online reservation as an individual traveller (without a guide)
If you go as an individual traveller, without a guide, you must make an online reservation beforehand, probably on the official website (I don't know exactly).Without this reservation you can't get in, unless you take a guide who can still the reservation there and then .There are a lot of guides offering their service on the site. But anyway , if you don't take a guide, you first go to the building with the ticket-office.There you show your passport , show your reservation and pay for your ticket.By the way, there's no discount for 60+ for foreigners, only for Chinese people. There are long queues, but they move relatively fast. There are golf carts travelling to the pits (5 yuan).Pit 1 was overwhelmingly big , but pit 2 a bit disappointing. It was nearly empty (September '23). Except for a few soldiers and horses , there was no sign of the chariots, or the promised soldiers. There is a light show however (tickets to be paid for extra), which we recommend because it shows what they found in full colours. Pit 3 lies at the back of Pit 2.

What an amazing one day trip we had! We were blown away with how intricate and lifelike the terra-cotta soldiers were. It was quite crowded but luckily our tour guide, Linda, knew all the short cuts so getting around was a breeze. We originally thought we could do the tour on our own but we are so glad we didn’t, otherwise we would have missed out on the wealth of information she provided. We didn’t know where else to go after the museum so Linda suggested for us to watch a musical about the Silk Road. It is probably the best show I have ever watched and trust me you will not be disappointed. Overall, it was totally worth it and I highly recommend this tour.

          Must see! Exceeded all expectations!
An amazing day which blew me away with how intricate and beautiful the terracotta warriors were. I went with my girlfriend ( we are British). We went by ourselves and didn’t use a tour guide. Getting in is very simple but right now you CANNOT book tickets online. When you arrive you will be pulled aside to check your passport details as you won’t have a Chinese ID. No problem for me as I’ve been used to this in China for many years. When you get to the ticket office you can pay with WeChat now or cash. For 2 adults we paid ¥240RMB. We arrived at 11am ( not early birds) and there was a queue but nothing major. Your ticket will be checked to get into the park and then again about a few hundred meters later just before the dig sites. There are 3 pits all together, and I URGE people to see pit 1 LAST as this is the most impressive one to see. It is huge and the warriors are outstanding. There is a big walkway all around the warriors so there are infinite chances to take photographs. Bring a good camera for Pit 2 and 3 as they are a little dark. All in all it took us about 2 hours to walk round all 3 will a little break for some snacks. Be prepared there will be many tour groups there the same time as you, and they may be a bit pushy when it comes to the perfect picture angle. An absolutely outstanding day and we enjoyed every minute of it!!

Amazing! You will need CASH to purchase your ticket
Amazing experience. We explored the Terracotta Army by ourselves, without a guide. We got there early (8:30am) and there weren’t too many people. If you are not a Chinese National or not part of a tour group, you will need CASH to purchase your ticket (120yuan) as there is no weChat pay or Alipay option that are the most common forms of payment in China.

          Terracotta Warriors
You can catch a public bus to the Terracotta warrior at 3-5 yuan from Xi'an. Then the fun begins, you get accosted as you get off the bus by people selling everything, restaurants, food and guides. 120 yuan to go in each. The guide is 200 yuan for a guide who speaks English. The walk up to the pits, the guide just talks filler. And the pits talk for themselves.

          Impressive and Iconic Site
We had an amazing tour of the Terracotta Warriors. The vastness of the venue will impress you beyond what you might expect. What a unique experience! I was also able to meet the man that found them, as he holds court in a restaurant now and then right outside the venue(my guide knew of his whereabouts) and signs a book about his discovery. Very cool. Incorporate a lunch plan as there are restaurants and a tourist focused area that is a pleasant stroll. The food was good too! I will say the day we were there the actual venue was very crowded as it was preceding a national holiday, so prepare for crowds or plan other times to visit. The earlier part of the day was the most crowded. It began to lighten up late morning. Definitely watch the movie they run. It’s very well done. Amazing site you don’t want to miss.

          Xi'an and Terra Cotta warriors
We had a wonderful day with Tina Yang who was at the airport greeting us with a smile. She was ready to take us to which ever of the activities we wished. She took us to a local restaurant to eat prior to heading off to see the 3 pits of the Terra Cotta warriors. We saw the winter Palace of the king and the City Wall of Xi'an. She even came in to the airport to make sure were checked in.

Fantastic but if short on time, you can miss the shop & optional "make a warrior"
We booked a private tour as had a full day planned which involved other venues. First stop was the souvenir shop and I think this was because we had opted in for the "make your own warrior". There was nothing wrong with this but basically you just put a bit of clay into a mold, press it out and then have to leave it there so fun, but a bit of extra cost and extra time spent you could miss. The shop is fine and has nice toilets etc. but you do feel pressure to buy as you are allocated a "server" who follows you around explaining things for you which some people may find useful but it made us feel like we had to purchase something. The warriors themselves no words can describe, you simply have to go and see them. You can also pay a little extra and get a little shuttle ride to the museum doors if you don't ant to walk (helpful if elderly or walking issues).

I’ve toured all over Asia & this was one of the best. Eddie was knowledgeable & accommodating and the driver was always quick and safe. I was one of the first tourists in Pit 1 and during a National holiday, no less! If you want a guide who knows the terrain, offers suggestions & always has a great attitude, this is the tour for you. The Terracotta Warriors are a must-see for everyone.

Today Linda our tour guide and Guo our driver took us to many worthy sites on our 1 day Xian tour. Our first stop was the terracotta warriors. Linda's knowledge of China's history is exceptional. On the way there Linda told us many facts about the region and a little bit of the language to make our trip more enjoyable. We also visited the pagoda, the bell and drum towers and the Muslim street. Again we learnt a lot just walking with Linda she was more than happy to answer our many questions. 100% recommendation and a shout out to Guo the safest driver in town. Thank you for a great day

Spent an amazing day visiting the Terra-cotta warriors and the highlights of Xian. Our tour guide Linda was extremely knowledgeable on Chinese history and has excellent English. We also saw the bell tower, drum tower and we loved Muslim street - a must see for authentic food and culture. We finished the day (@ Linda’s suggestion) at the Silk Road performance- a truly unforgettable experience with real camels and wolves! Linda and our driver Li were exceptional.

Wendy is an excellent guide and it is so pleasant to have a day tour with her.
Her explanations are clear and matter-of-fact and she is full of knowledge and interesting. She invests in her customers as much as she can and tries to solve any problem that arises for them. We had a problem with the airline and Wendy fought for us as hard as she could and didn't let go until the solution was offered. Thanks Wendy. In addition, Wendy has also a delightful interesting personality and just a pleasure to talk to her about any topic in the world. VERY Recommend above and beyond.

Out tour guide was almost instantly rushing us from the moment we met her. We got lost from her several times as she was rushing through the exhibits only to try to get us to shop at a jewelry store so she could receive a commission.Very disappointed

Dear Sir/Madam, Finnally we can respond to your review because of the Management Center tech problem. We are sorry that you had a bad experience. Though we tried to reach you via TripAdvisor, you couldn't provide any booking reference number nor the name of the guide nor the date of travel, we cannot investigate and verify your statement which is apparently not our practice. We have reason to believe you posted a review of another company under our listing because of our name. If you believe you had a booking with us and can provide your booking reference number, we promise to investigate this seriously. Regards, Mason

My friend and I had Agnes as our tour guide for the day. She and her driver picked us up at our hotel and took us to the Terra Cotta Warriors museum. Along the drive, she told us history of Xian and the Terra Cotta Warriors. In the afternoon, we toured the City Wall, Muslin Quarter, and the Bell and Drum Tower. I would recommend this company and Agnes! It was like touring the city with a friend.
