Overview
Get to know the food scene in Da Nang on a walking tour with a guide who introduces you to items you might not find if you explored on your own. You'll visit several food venues, from restaurants to shops to a local living room, to sample items like Vietnamese barbecue and seafood.
What to Expect
The tour starts at 5pm in the city center near the Dragon Bridge, at 4 Tran Quoc Toan. From there, your guide will lead you through the heart of the city to various food locales. You'll walk between the different food spots, which is a great way to soak in the atmosphere while getting ready for the next tasty dish. The walking between each spot is 5-15 minutes depending on what's next.
At each spot, your guide will talk about the dish, how it's made, why it's famous in Da Nang and most importantly, how to eat it. Food selections vary from tour to tour, but typically include things like rice cakes, various noodles, rice cracker pizzas, savory pancakes, BBQ pork skewers, banh mi sandwiches, and seafood like fish, clams and prawns.
Tour ends at around 9pm with dessert. From there, your guide will get a cab back to your hotel or advise you on some places to go for a drink or an evening stroll. Price includes all the food and drinks on the tour, including alcohol. It doesn't include transport to and from the meeting place.
