Afternoon Countryside Bike Tour from Hoi An
US$17.00
Overview

There are few better ways to experience rural Vietnamese life than by bicycle. A guide to accompany you means you not only see the most charming spots but also can communicate with locals. See traditional crafts from weaving straw to making boats, as you pedal around tranquil Duy Vinh island on this guided Hoi An bike tour. Perfect for anyone who loves the countryside, it includes a river cruise too.

What to Expect

Meet at Hoi An Ancient Town and board your craft to cruise down the pretty Thu Bon River. On arrival at Duy Vinh island, don your helmet, hop on your bike, and start pedaling through the tranquil villages and rice fields, as your guide explains the meaning of what you’re seeing.

Ride a leisurely 5.5 miles (9 kilometers) over flat terrain. Along the way, learn the secrets of crafting the colorful woven straw mats that Vietnamese people traditionally slept on—and many in the countryside still use. See traditional boats being made, watch workers in the rice fields, and meet locals with your guide on hand to translate.

We booked directly, emailing them about 2 or 3 days prior. Try not to leave it to the day as our tour was booked out (12 pax max). No deposit needed. Well worth doing, a highlight of Vietnam
