The good, the bad & the ugly
Here's the text with grammar and minor stylistic improvements: Yurts are quite authentic, spacious, and have beds to sleep in. The bedding is very firm and not super comfortable. It can be very cold at night, so bring warm clothes. All in all, if you like camping, then go for it. The food served is simple yet quite tasty and comes in good portion sizes. For the evening entertainment, there was a Kazakh singer. He was not bad at all; however, after singing only 6-7 songs, he was done. Moreover, he took off his hat and walked around the circle asking for money. Tourists felt pressured and had to give him some tips. The absolutely revolting part was the camel ride. The animals are grossly mistreated. A couple of camels were clearly in pain, groaning every time their handlers made them kneel down and get up. All animals had punctured noses with wooden sticks, and one had a heavy metal bolt through its delicate nose. The weight of the metal made the camel's nose hang to one side (see the picture). Do not ride the camels. It's not worth it, let alone give the handlers tips! The ride was included in the price, but they asked for 20-30k of local currency nonetheless. Do not encourage animal cruelty!

    Very nice! Recommended
I did the tour Bukhara-Nurata-Aydar Lake-Yurt Camp-Samarkand and it was awesome! I was solo traveling but thanks to the very nice guide Khaasan, I did not feel lonely at all! He always tried to explain himself and I think that after speaking for a while his English was already much better! Khaasan also gave suggestions on the things to do and I appreciated it a lot as I was able to see different things

    Good service. Amazing
The Yurt Camp and Aydar Lake tour with Jahongir Travel offers a unique blend of cultural immersion and natural beauty. Guests stay in authentic yurts, enjoying traditional Uzbek music, dance, and cuisine. The serene Aydar Lake provides opportunities for swimming, fishing, and boating. The tour includes interactions with local nomadic families and craft workshops, enhancing the cultural experience. While amenities are basic and weather-dependent activities might be a drawback, the authentic and immersive nature of this tour makes it a memorable experience for those seeking to explore Uzbekistan's nomadic heritage and stunning landscapes.

    Nice snow capped mountains
The views were amazing and we had a very friendly and hospitable driver who loved nature. Even though he couldn't speak English, we could feel his warmth and sincerity through his actions.

    Bad experience, do not recommend!
This company cares only about your money not the experience. Our driver didn’t take us to Gijduvan because tour operator FORGOT to inform the driver that it’s part of the trip. I mean seriously? That is your job, and you forgot to say it? Additionally trip ends at your hotel but first they will force you to go to Registan and change cars even if your hotel is outside of the city and you pass it and keep driving for extra 20-30’. Trip is long and boring, it’s more of driving than desert and lake time, plus the lake itself has nothing to offer.

    Too hot in Summer.
The climate was extremely hot and the AC in the car was very bad. The driver switched off the AC many times. If the trip started in the afternoon and ended by sunset it would have been better as the days are very very hot and we were boiling inside the car. The driver was a very good man and he was very courteous. Only issue is that he doesn't speak English.

    The day trip to Shahrisabz
Shakhrisabz's majestic mountains captivated me during my trip. The towering peaks and rugged landscapes left me in awe. The mountains in Shakhrisabz offer a breathtaking backdrop for exploration and adventure. The crisp mountain air, coupled with the panoramic views, created an unforgettable experience. If you're a nature enthusiast seeking awe-inspiring beauty, Shakhrisabz's mountains are a must-visit destination.

    Organisation horrible but great nature
The guesthouse and the nature are very nice. but the trip itself was not as planned. the driver was more than 1.5 hours late to pick us up and the car was very uncomfortable. there was no guide and no guided walk. also there was no Suzani workshop. i would recommend to book the guesthouse on booking (like the guests did that we met there) and get a taxi there

    Terrible
The whole "tour" consists in a Russian speaking taxi driver coming to pick you up from your hotel and driving you to Shahrisabz. You can find something WAY cheaper just stopping a taxi driver in Samarkand by yourself. We were supposed to have a tour in English and all we got was this old guy who did not understand a word. Avoid this!

My tour of Samarkand exceeded all expectations! The city impressed with the grandeur of its historical monuments. Registan Square with its madrassas decorated with elegant mosaics is simply breathtaking. The Bibi-Khanum Mosque and the Gur-Emir Mausoleum are immersed in the era of the great Timur. The guide was well versed in the topic, sharing fascinating stories and legends. Lunch in a cozy restaurant with dishes of Uzbek cuisine added national flavor to our trip. A walk through Siab Bazaar allowed you to immerse yourself in the local culture and buy souvenirs. This tour is an ideal opportunity to get acquainted with the originality and greatness of Samarkand

We know Fayoz does this for a living, every day. Yet, it's impossible not to feel like you're being shown around by a friend who loves his home city. Fayoz took our input at every step and provided a perfect mixture or historical facts and spectacular stories. He managed to fit into just one day the sense that you really got to see a wonderful historical city. He's also a great companion during a meal. Strongly recommended!

If you’re considering a private tour of Samarkand, look no further than Jahon, who provided one of the most outstanding tour experiences I’ve had in visiting over 100 countries. From start to finish, Jahon exceeded expectations in every way. Not only did he cover all the iconic sights and landmarks of Samarkand with knowledge and passion, but he also brought a deep level of understanding and insight into the region’s political, social, and economic landscape. His perspective was informed and nuanced, providing context that went well beyond typical tour guide commentary. This added layer made each visit even more meaningful, showing Samarkand as a living, breathing intersection of history and modernity.

Jahon’s approach was warm, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic, creating an experience that felt like exploring with a knowledgeable friend rather than just ticking off stops on an itinerary. The private tour was an exceptional value, with Jahon ensuring we saw everything at our rather fast pace and delved deeply into each topic. I would highly recommend Jahon’s services to anyone who wants an enriching and memorable experience in Samarkand—his guidance set a new standard for excellence!
