We had a privatetour to Pergamon organised for us by this company. The driver was very good, the guide, Fahti was excellent, very relaxed, friendly and informative. Altogether, an excellent trip.

Ulas was our tour guide and he was excellent. You would think he had a PhD in history, he was very knowledgeable. He has a great personality, and offered to customize the tour. He did not rush us. He took us to an authentic Turkish lunch, explained the dishes, and paid for his own lunch. This was far better than any cruise ship shore excursion.

We arrived at our cruise port where we met our private tour guide, Filiz. The process was seamless. The three of us headed out on our tour with Filiz who took care of everything from start to finish. Filiz was extremally knowledgably, friendly, and a very positive person. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wanted to visit Ephesus and the sounding area. Ashley

This was our first time with private cruise tours. It was easy to book, much more affordable and the smaller sized group was just amazing. We had guide Calgar who was excellent. His area knowledge, professionalism and entertaining personality were perfect. He fit in great with our group and was like a fun college professor. He tailored the trip perfectly and provided a great local cuisine lunch suggestion. We could not have been happier and highly recommend both Kusadasi/Ephesus Private Tours and guide Calgar.

The best Tour of our entire cruise was this tour of Turkey (i.e., Ephesus and surrounding area). The sites are a reason to take tour, our tour guide Ekin made the tour memorable... for our family of four. Ekin is simply the best... hand down the best! He is a very friendly, whitty and knowledgeable. Master at his craft. Love the handlebar mustache too! We saw and learned of some great sites, cultural traditions and history of Turkey and ate some very delicious traditional Turkish food with Ekin. This tour company was also great, Ekin made it this excursion the highlight of our cruise.

We had a fantastic time with Banu. She was extremely knowledgeable and fun to be with. Banu provided just the right amount of information and was flexible on what we could experience in this region in the time allotted. The experience was suburb.

Eda was amazing and we could not have been more satisfied. We highly recommend the tour of Historic Ephesus and this is the company that we would use.

Erkan was the best tour guide we had; we took and paid for 14 private tours during this trip. She is the very BEST. Knows her stuff, explains it easily, took us where ever we wanted to go. Great van with her turn around seat so she is talking to you directly, easy to follow and interact with. Told us what book to buy on Ephesus, it is great. By far one of our better days during our 21 days all over. She is a total DELIGHT!

We had such a great experience with our guide Isik! She was very nice, entertaining, knowledgeable and professional and her English was perfect! She kept us moving but gave us plenty of time to ask questions, take pictures & time to roam around on our own. We were so glad we booked our private tour that was catered to just our group of 6 rather than a large bus tour. We really appreciated getting a break from the heat while traveling between locations in the air conditioned Mercedes van that was clean & comfortable.(water provided too). We enjoyed the visit to “the Virgin Mary’s House” early in the morning. Isik ushered us in before the bus loads of tourists arrived making it easier to move thru the location & time to use the restroom before we headed to the ruins of Ephesus. It was quite hot that day so we were glad we brought our own cooling cloths, water and umbrellas for sun protection. We loved learning all Isik had to share with us and appreciated her checking in regarding the pace of the tour. The Celsius Library was amazing, as was the Great Theatre where Apostle Paul had preached to the Ephesians. After the tour we were treated to a wonderful & delicious lunch at a local Turkish restaurant. We really enjoyed learning about & tasting some of the Turkish cuisine. We then walked across the garden to a carpet factory. Although it was interesting none of us were interested in purchasing anything. We had fun jesting with the salesmen about prices and they definitely wanted to make a sale but really weren’t too pushy. At the end of our tour, Isik helped us organize a meeting with a local friend- even using her own phone to make a call to insure/arrange the meeting spot. This tour couldn’t have been any better and we Highly recommend this (6hr) day tour to anyone visiting Ephesus!

Isik was amazing. Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We were a groups of 16, ranging in age from 7 to 75, including a wheel chair. She made the tour work for all of us ! She is a fountain of information and could write books on the history of the area. 10/10.

Erkan was an excellent guide. This was our second visit to Ephesus. She was very attentive to what we wanted to explore on this second trip and guided us to areas that were not available on our first trip. Her knowledge of the site is fantastic and her English is excellent as well. She understood how our tour would interact with other tour groups and made suggestions on timing Ephesus with touring some other sites in the area. We avoided delays because of this and made the most of our time in the area. We are pleased to give her our highest recommendation.

This tour was by far the smartest decision I made on the entire trip!! I cannot express how fabulous Ephesus is! My guide was “Memo”. Normally I dislike tours, but this was INCREDIBLY FABULOUS… first, because it was such a nice car and driver, secondly, “Memo” was not a pushy tour guide… he did what I wanted! I was first off the ship and he was there with my name on a paper. The car was right there and we beat the tour groups to Ephesus! As soon as we entered the entry gate, we went straight to The Library and got the “photo of a lifetime!” Memo brought the ruins to life. Not as a normal ship tour guide does… but he made it SO interesting! He knows, really knows the history and is able to make you want to hear it! With this tour company, I was able to do what I wanted! We also went to the museum! I cannot recommend this tour company enough!!! Highly reliable!!!! BEST TOUR EVER (and I travel a lot.) Oh, the place we went for lunch was fabulous. Not where your groups go. Food was incredible. You don’t order they just bring food to you (a lot) and your table is outside in the grass. And it was not expensive. Memo made seeing Ephesus EASY and FUN!

Dilek was an amazing guide. She knew so much about Ephesus and Kusadasi. It was such a pleasure traveling with her.

Erkan was a fabulous guide. Very knowledgeable about Ephesus and was able to guide us around the site avoiding the crowds. We were a small group of 4 people so it really felt like a private tour. Van accommodation was comfortable. Lunch after the tour was wonderful. We got to sample the local cuisine in a lovely spot. Would highly recommend Erkan to anyone.

My husband and I booked a private tour when visiting Ephesus. The entire booking process was clear and easy. The price was very reasonable. We had a private van with driver and our guide Banu was exceptional! She was very personable & extremely knowledgeable. We learned so much!!
