We started with such an excellent tour guide, we didn’t think it could get better. Every guide in each location was superb. They were interesting, informative and fun to be with. They were thoroughly qualified on historic significance, as well as restaurants and shopping. They were punctual, but flexible. The tours were entirely customized to our groups personal desires. The entire trip was seamless and momentous. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

Relating to historical movie series dating back to 1200 through 1500. My visit to Sogut and Riva was the highlight of my trip.

We hired Sojourn for a nine day tour of Turkiye, including Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus, and Hieropolis/Pamukkale. Elif D. kept us well-informed in the months and days leading up to the trip, and the Vamoos app kept us up-to-date with our itinerary. All nine tour days went without a hitch. The drivers/guides were always on time. Our guides were excellent; Reyhan in Istanbul and Rabia in Ephesus area were especially good. Accommodations were top-notch. Sojourn is a well-run, professional company. When we visit Turkiye in the future to check out the myriad of other archaeological sites across the country, we will be using Sojourn.

We organized a trip to visit Istanbul and Cappadocia and they made all the arrangements for us in great locations, five stars hotels, transfers and tour guides with local knowledge and history studies. Planning a trip to Cappadocia can be very complicated with all that the area has to offer. Sojourn Turkey Travel made every step of planning seamless. From dinner reservations to transfers and everything in between, Sojourn was amazing! It was a difficult time to vacation in Turkey due to Covid and our group had to do several extra steps to travel from the USA. Sojourn was very helpful in navigating this. Cappadocia was a beautiful area. We traveled with 4 couples. Our Sojourn guide (KÜNT) and driver (Ogoos {sp?}) were amazing!! So knowledgeable and got to know our groups likes and dislikes. We were able to make small changes to our daily tours when we were tired or wanted to switch gears. One of the members of our group had a birthday while we were there. Our driver had a family member arrange for a cake and had it delivered to our restaurant. It was a beautiful cake from a local patisserie. So special! We had to have PCR tests before we left for the next leg of our trip. Sojourn arranged for a nurse to come to our hotel to do our tests and we received results within 12 hours! We felt like we were saying goodbye to good friends when we said goodbye. Thank you, Sojourn!!

Sojourn arranged two trips to Cappadocia for my family. A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE each time. It is a magical place. Hot air balloons, ancient cave churches, volcanic fairy chimneys. Sojourn arranged flights, all transportation, luscious hotel accommodations (Kayakapi Cave Hotel!), an expert guide (Yunus!) and lush meals. (Cappadocia Steak House and The Greek House!) Sojourn's personal attention, made this one of my most memorable vacations!

I led a group of 21 high school students and adults on a 14 day trip in Turkey. Sojourn Turkey toured us through Cappadocia, the Mediterranean Sea and Istanbul. Feray was a really nice guide and showed me a lot of cool places in Aspendos/Perge. I thought it was a really good use of time. The whole day was planned well. Feray is also good at making the car ride interactive with enjoyable conversation.

My day tour of Aspendos, Perge and the waterfalls, with Feray and Emir, was the best I have taken anywhere, and I travel a great deal. First of all, even though—because of COVID—I was the only person on the tour, they still ran the tour and made it seem like it was no trouble at all. They picked me up on time at my hotel in an extremely comfortable Mercedes van. Their communication was excellent and timely leading up to the tour. They followed strict COVID protocols, yet everything was comfortable and not stuffy. I felt very safe. Feray was born to be a tour guide. She is a brilliant woman, and so warm, kind, funny and charming, she put me immediately at ease. She knows so much, and was willing not only to share fascinating stories about the incredible sites we visited, but also to answer other questions I had about Turkey, which I really appreciated. Emir is an excellent driver, and a very kind man who was patient with my non-existent Turkish. We also enjoyed a refreshing and lovely stop at Kursunlu waterfalls, which included a very enjoyable walk around the park. Lunch was perfectly timed between fascinating walks around ruins. Feray made sure we could have a typical Antalya mezze, with delicious kofte. Our hostess was lovely and a marvelous chef. I didn't even have to eat dinner that evening because I was so well-fed! Plenty of water, tea and coffee was also provided on the tour. I do not speak Turkish, and felt a bit shy about being the only person on the tour, but my worry was unnecessary. Feray speaks fluent and excellent English, and she and Emir treated me like a friend. The province of Antalya has an extraordinary number of beautiful ancient sites which have been excavated. You owe it to yourself to visit at least a few of these sites to appreciate Turkey's incredible, and long, history as a crossroads of the world, and an extremely important player in Western history. I highly recommend Sojourn Tours to be your guide. It was an absolutely amazing day—perhaps my best in Turkey, and that's saying a lot--and one I will never forget. Do yourself a favor and book a tour with these folks. It is worth every penny.

Strolling the cobblestone streets back and forth to the yacht harbor is so wonderful, and like taking a trip back in time. With a guide we did not get bothered by vendors, and could enjoy the surroundings much more. The museum is just the right size for an hour or so to see some on the region's most dramatic artifacts. I love the detailed carvings on the Lycian tombs, they have a whole room full of them. The waterfall tops the day off with a great place to take photos that overlook the rushing water into the sea.
