          Amazing experience.
Amazing day. Our guide/driver was very knowledgeable, his English was excellent, and didn’t push us to go to tourist traps. The temples are beautiful and definitely worth seeing, and lunch while looking at Mount Batur was spectacular. The only drawback, which our guide had no control over, was the pestering by people trying to sell us things. That is Bali though.

Our trip was amazing, over all of our expectations. Our guide Lemon drove us to all the destinations we agreed and guide us all over the temples, Penglipuran village and Goa raja waterfall. He answered to all of our curiosities about the amazing places where we have been. Terima Kasih Lemon! 🙏

Unforgettable Ubud Day Tour exploring rice terraces, waterfalls, temples, and more! Big thanks to amazing guide Mudana
We had an amazing experience on the Ubud Day Tour, where we explored the stunning rice terraces, a beautiful waterfall, the Monkey Forest, and a temple. Our guide, Mudana, truly made the tour exceptional with his professionalism and deep knowledge of Balinese culture and nature. He took the time to explain everything in detail, which enriched our experience. We highly recommend this tour and especially Mudana as a guide—his passion for Bali really shines through. A must-do for anyone visiting Bali!

Experiencing the hidden gems of Bali with our amazing guide
Our guide, Rudi, was super helpful, he took us to many places, he adapted the tour to our needs. We wanted to avoid very touristy places and he was able to show us the hidden gems which didn't have many people, but were absolutely stunning! He also explained so much about the indonesian culture, i highly recommend this type of tour, it feels like we could truly experience Bali!

Highly recommend - amazing experience into Bali culture. Rio our guide was excellent!!!
Thank you to Rio our wonderful guide and driver. He was very patient with us and recommended alternatives which were less busy but still spectacular. We enjoyed his history knowledge of the locations and culture of Bali. Highlights were the local village, authentic look into Balinese village life and the beautiful sacred temples. High recommend the ‘build your own tour’ and Rio as your guide.

We did a Private Tour. Communication prior to booking was easy and very good. Our guide was Ardi and he is probably one of, if not THE BEST Tour guide we have ever had....and that's after travelling for 30 years. ! ARDI was polite , funny and always considered our needs. His knowledge was incredible and he continually astonished with stories and statistics..it was an absolute pleasure being with him.

          Good experience
It was so nice to visit the waterfalls, painting village, coffee plantation and Tanah lot. Gede told us lots of information about Bali we didn’t know. I’d recommend doing these tours if you’re staying in ubud to cut out travel time as we came from Canggu but still worth the visit.

This best of Ubud trip was spoiled by the horrendous Bali traffic and our guide allocating way too much time for us to shop, then rushing us at the temple and rice terraces. We never got to see the waterfall as we run out of time, we barely made it in time for the Monkey Forest, and the entire trip took around 11 hours! Needless to say, by the time we got to the hotel we were exhausted. Our guide, who is more of a driver than a guide, gave us around half an hour max at each site, with the exception of the monkey forest. I wish we had more time at the temple to admire the architecture and learn about its history. We did, however, have plenty of time to shop. You are ushered into extremely overpriced tourist-trap shops that use high-pressure sales tactics to sell you stuff ie the guide telling you this is a family or friend's woodcarving shop. This makes you feel obligated to buy something. You must haggle and haggle hard as the prices for the silver and woodcarvings are astronomical. We were taken to a silver jewelry shop, a woodcarving shop, a batik fabric shop, and a coffee/tea shop that sells different Balinese coffees and teas. I bought some nice things, but the shopping was exhausting, with salespeople following our every more. You cannot have a single minute to browse freely, especially at the jewelry and woodcarving shops. In retrospect I should have hired a private driver for the day and tell him exactly where I want to go. That would have been a much better experience. Also- no water is provided on this trip, you must bring your own or ask your guide to stop so you can buy some. A microscopic bottle of water given to you by a salesperson hoping you will buy something is not enough water for the day!

The trip started off with us getting promptly picked up by our guide Dastra, who was absolutely amazing! He had so much knowledge about Ubud, Bali as a whole, and its culture.
We first visited where clothes are hand made and were quickly shown the process and then wondered around the art museum and shop before heading off the where hand made jewellery was made. The process was fascinating and the shop was beautiful, but not cheap. Prices were able to be negotiated however not to the point where I would buy anything, but considering they were all hand made, it can be seen as fair.
Next we went to the temple and Dastra gave us a tour of he’s own and also took many beautiful pictures and videos for us!
After that we headed to the waterfall which was stunning from the top for anyone not comfortable making the hike down. As it was very hot and humid it did make the stairs back up quite difficult but there are many places to rest along the way. I would highly recommend going down to the bottom as the view is stunning and you can even take a dip if you bring your bathers.
The monkey sanctuary was a highlight of the trip personally. Dastra joined us and again shared valuable knowledge about the area and the wildlife which were all beautiful to be immersed in. Just make sure you hold on tight to your valuables and don’t stir up the monkeys!
Lastly we visited a tea and luwak coffee plantation, where we had 5 teas and 5 coffees (all complementary) after seeing how luwak coffee was made. The views of the rice terraces from the balcony were breathtaking, and enough for us to skip going down to the terrace itself as we were so tired from an action packed day!
A huge thanks again to Dastra and a note that he’s driving was beyond impressive in the busy traffic and heavy rains we experienced on our way back to Kuta. Major recommendations for he’s tours as we felt like we were in good hands the whole time and even like a little family by the end of our journey together.
A trip I would definitely recommend!

Highly recommend doing this tour if you want to see the highlights of Ubud. It was fabulous having a private tour and we absolutely loved our guide, Yasmika. He has so much knowledge and taught us so much about the culture here in Bali. He personalized the tour based on what he thought we’d like and it didn’t disappoint. Our favorite part was the coffee plantation which wasn’t even on the original itinerary for the day. And he was an expert picture taker!

Mudana our driver was very informative and accommodating. We took the Ubud day tour but the stops weren’t ‘locked in stone’ we didn’t want to go to the monkey forest so Mudana had other suggestions which turned out to be great.
The only downside was that at the art and wood carving stops there was a lot of pressure to buy from the site hosts (nothing to do with Bali 4U Tours) so be prepared to stand firm. We would have purchased at the wood carving stop but the host didn’t leave us alone to look, we eventually got frustrated and left because of it.
Lots of great crafts in Ubud on the way to the rice terraces so keep that in mind if you want to shop for something different.
We also recommend stopping for crispy duck lunch along the way

I was based in Seminyak but was keen to experience some of the sites of Ubud.

Jumped online the night before and was picked up at my hotel the next morning by my guide Sudi and a driver Krishna. Both did a great job throughout the day.

I was a solo traveler and Sudi offered to take plenty of photos at the various sites.

Sudi was a tremendous guide and very insightful on all the locations, he answered all the questions I had about Balinese culture and Bali and Ubud itself.

I highly recommend this tour as its an extremely affordable day out and you get to see some of the best parts of Ubud in a stress-free day.

Tour of best of Ubud, was certainly well worth it and our guide Rio was very informative every step of the way, we started off with Arts villages and got to see how silver jewellery making is carried out and also got to buy some unique pieces. This was followed on by the Batuan temple, which was very nice. Again Rio gave us a good understanding of all the traditions. The waterfall was beautiful and a good workout, make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes, a lot of walking. This was followed by the Rice Terrace and then some time in the Ubud centre. All in all I would highly recommend this tour with Bali 4 U tours and especially with Rio, who was energetic throughout the day despite it being a long one! Will definitely use them for other day tours!!

Highly recommended, and have already told our family and friends what a great tour we had with Juli, our tour guide.

The booking process was safe and easy. As we’re travelling with our four year old, we decided to take private tour to discover as much of Ubud as possible. Juli was fantastic with our little chatter box who was so excited she talked most of the car trip.

We saw amazing temples and sites that Juli was able to explain and answer queries, especially at the temple. At the monkey forest, Juli helped us navigate the paths and took many family photos. After the monkey forest, Juli found a nice restaurant where we could try some Balinese food and some chicken fingers for our little one. Lastly, we wanted to go on a rope swing over the rice paddie, however the line was quite long, so Juli took us to another place that was less crowded.

All in all a fantastic tour and highly recommended. Thank you again Juli for an amazing experience.

We had a great, busy, fun but relaxed day around Ubud. We first visited the monkey forest temple, Rio our guide thankfully made us all feel safe and comfortable around the monkeys he had lots of facts about them and the temple there. We then went to Puseh Batuan temple, our guide shared about the celebrations they have there and information about the statues. Next we went to the coffee plantation and tried all different coffees and teas! Coconut coffee is a must try! Rio then took us to a lovely restaurant where we had lunch overlooking the rice fields. After lunch we stopped at the Waterfall and had a swim, which was beautiful but quite touristy (Rio had warned us about this already)and lots of steps to get there. Finally we stopped at the rice terrace fields and took in the amazing views, learning about the old techniques still used by the locals. It was a jam packed day but Rio worked around us and we could spend less or more time at whichever places we preferred. He was very fun and chatty and was more than happy to answer any questions we had, he truly made our day as special as it was. As we had already seen the art villages we swapped it out for the coffee plantation when booking and the company were really flexible with this.

We had a great day out with Raka. We have done a few of these types of day tours in various Asian countries and Raka was really good tour guide. He is a safe and smooth driver, he also has a great sense of humour, speaks English well, and adjusted the tour itinerary as the day played out to suit our interests.
