Blue Lagoon in Padangbai, east Bali, takes its name from the turquoise waters that lap at its white sand. He was punctual, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about every place we visited. I also really enjoyed snorkeling in beautiful blue water. We saw lots of fish and I really enjoyed that as well. Excellent time - do recommend.
This review is on the 0800 time slot that the company offers.
We were picked up from our hotel reception (in Legian) on time and driven to the activity location without mishap.
Upon arrival, it was an easy check-in, we ordered our lunch which would be ready for us when we came back from snorkelling, changed into our togs and walked straight to the boat.
Each boat roughly fits 10 people which took us to two prime locations for snorkelling. You are provided a snorkel/goggles and flippers on the boat. You can bring your bags on the boat and store them in a net suspended from the vessel’s floor so they will not get wet.
We spent around an hour in each location where a guide directed the group and encouraged exploration around the coral/reef/rocks.
The water was clear allowing us to see plenty of colourful fish, sea life, and Nemo with a few of his mates.
Post snorkelling we were taken back to the activity location via boat for a shower and lunch (the Nasi Goreng was great) before hitting up our driver to take us back to the hotel.
This is a great ‘first timer’ experience.

Baruna met us at the hotel promptly at 0800. He drove carefully through morning traffic, played upbeat music which prompted my Indonesian friend to sing along.
We were pleasantly surprised to find two lagoons would be included in the tour. The catamaran took off near the restaurant. It was staffed with knowledgeable divers who helped size fins, life jackets, and guide us in and out of the vessel. The first lagoon was shallow and filled with beautiful tropical fish. The Blue Lagoon was deeper with stronger currents, less fish. Afterwards, the restaurant provided showers, changing cubicles plus a local menu. This tour was the hi-light of our Bali trip. Thank you Baruna for a fun day.

We just got to Seminyak after staying in the Gili Islands. Although we were keep to go Snorkelling, we weren’t sure whether the underwater marine life would be as good. We decided to have a look anyway and booked a Snorkelling Tour to Blue Lagoon Bay with Rukmana Snorkelling Tours.
It turns out the snorkelling was just as good, if not better! We saw many different fish and corals and the water was extremely clear.
We had a beautiful boat driver, unfortunately I have forgotten his name. He was very experienced and calm. We were on a boat with nervous swimmers but he was very reassuring. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with.
Our driver, Udia was also wonderful. He picked us up from our hotel on time and drove carefully and safely to Padang Bai. We have driven in many different cars with many different drivers and Udia is up there with the best.
Thank you Udia, our beautiful boat driver and thank you to Rukmana Bali Tours.

The Bali Snorkeling tour is a great way to experience the aquatic life in Indonesia. You will have a driver, I recommend our driver Dole, who will get you to the Blue Lagoon quick and has some great tunes along the way. The Blue Lagoon itself is a great spot to go snorkeling through the coral reefs and see many tropical fish, you may see some baby sharks and baby turtles too!

Excellent experience from beginning to end. We got picked up at our hotel by our driver, Ketut Arka, promptly when they said they would. He was very friendly and gave us an informed overview of everything that was on the schedule for the outing. He also kept a lively conversation for the 1 and half hour drive from our pickup location in Kuta to Padang bai beach to get on the boat to begin snorkeling.
Our boat driver and guide for snorkeling were also very welcoming and kept looking out for our safety throughout. 2 of our group members got a little seasick while on the boat and so they made sure to maneuver the boat accordingly so that everyone was comfortable.
Snorkeling was followed by a nice lunch at a small but very cute restaurant. The food was very good and portion sizes were nice for a post-swim meal. Overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone.
Our boat driver and guide for snorkeling were also very welcoming and kept looking out for our safety throughout. 2 of our group members got a little seasick while on the boat and so they made sure to maneuver the boat accordingly so that everyone was comfortable.

Really fun day - very happy with the service from start to finish. Our driver, Dewa, was on time, very friendly and communicative and even helped us buy some fruit from a local!
The day entire day was very organised, we were taken to a restaurant to order our meal for after the tour finished, given a small presentation on where we’d be going and who we’d be going with.
The boat we went out on had three other couples, one driver and one guide who stayed in the water with us the entire day. We had clown fish, sea snakes, and were even lucky enough to see a turtle.
Sometimes we would meet other groups from other operators, which tend to have much higher numbers of people, but it only happened a few times and wasn’t particularly stressful.
Once the tour was finished, we were taken back to the restaurant where we had showers (on negative point here is that we were told there would be bath gel and shampoo but there wasn’t) and then got our lunch which was very tasty (the noodles is better than the rice!).
Dewa was very happy for us to spend some time exploring the town as well and the. Took us back to the hotel.
We would definitely recommend this tour.
Despite it being more expensive per person than other yours, there’s a max of 10 people which makes a real difference, you always feel safe knowing the guy isn’t keeping an eye on more than he can handle and you can talk to more of the group.

We were greeted at 10am by our tour guide Tude and made our way to the beach side site where we were briefed on the excursion within a local restaurant where they also took our pre orders for food, ready for our return. We boarded a traditional boat with 4 other companions and made our way to visit two spots. Crystal clear waters teeming with a variety of fish. We even managed to see a puffer fish. As we departed the 1st site we were lucky enough to see a turtle surface for air next to our boat, before he/she waved its flippers to say goodbye before heading back under.
A great trip. Our only note would be that the seas, on our visit date, were rather choppy and in a small boat this can have quite the affect on anybody who suffers sea sickness. But this obviously is dependent on the swell at the time.
An additional note about our tour guide, Tude. He was fantastic, excellent English speaking and always happy to help as well as answer any of our questions! One of us had a little sea sickness from the boat and Tude was super sympathetic towards this and helped by getting water, letting us take our time ready for the drive and was genuinely caring towards this. A super nice person! We recommend Tude!

My partner and I booked this tour because it had the better reviews and ratings than all the others, and clearly the ratings do not lie! The wonderful Mr. Soma came and collected us right on time and was extremely professional, polite, courteous and friendly. He acquainted us well with what we’d experience on the tour: two snorkelling spots and on the way back a stop in for some tea and coffee taste-testing, which the taste-testing was a fun little surprise as that hadn’t been mentioned on the tour details! The snorkelling spots were absolutely breathtaking and we were lucky enough to see a sea turtle and a little stingray! Once we were finished with snorkelling, we were taken back to the restaurant they use as a sort of home base and we were given food, we had a large range of options and the food was delicious.
All around a great experience and a big thank you to Soma who made our experience all the more enjoyable.

The snorkelling trip at Blue Lagoon was without a doubt the best part of our trip so far!
Our driver, Candra, arrived on time and made our trip a lot of fun. He was very kind and knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions we had.
When we arrived at Blue Lagoon we ordered lunch to be ready for when we finished snorkelling. During our time snorkelling we saw heaps of beautiful fish and were even able to feed them.
We will definitely do this trip again when we come back to Bali!!

Udia was an excellent driver and guide. Very helpful and friendly driver, nice clean and comfortable car with air conditioning. He brought us safely and efficiently from Semenyak to Blue Lagoon for a snorkel tour which I would highly recommend to anyone. We saw sea turtles, an eel, a blowfish, squid, and countless species of coral and fish including clownfish. The snorkel guide was excellent also, pointing out all the species and made sure everyone saw the turtles.

We are a family of 4. We’d like the flexibility of leaving early, etc. Do we have the option of just being by ourselves or is it a shared trip with up to 15pax?

Yes when you book with the company you just need to tell them you want a private tour. Not a shared tour. Then its up to you if you want to go back early. If people get sea sick easy, best they just stay back cause the boats are on the smaller side.
