Great day at a beautiful beach. The beach was a little crowded but no bad. Bring plenty of cash for upgrades like tents, snorkeling, & food. It is a long bumpy ride to the boats, but well worth the trek. We had a blast & the beach/water far surpasses Santa Marta beaches.

The tour was not in english, the pick up time was mentioned late in the night and i had to pay extra when i missed the tour bus. No details of the tour was provided, like the launch ride needs to be paid separately.

I booked a tour to Palomino from Santa Marta which was confirmed multiple times (through different people at the agency). This morning, starting from 6.40am (the pick-up was supposed to be at 7.30am), the guide started leaving me non-stop voice messages in Spanish... even though I had booked the tour in English. First, he didn't know at which hotel I was. Then, he told me to go somewhere different, he wouldn't be able to pick me up from my hotel. I told him that "door-to-door" transport was included, and then he just stopped replying to me. All in all, I waited for 2h and apparently, the guide just left without me! A really frustrating experience... even though the customer service person at the office (who speaks English) seems nice and apologized to me afterwards. Still annoying if you only have limited time and could have done a different tour that day...
