Picked up from hotel at time they said and had a very enjoyable day with sothea seeing angkor wat and a few other temples great day had by all, recommend this tour to everyone
Get picked up from your hotel and brought to the departure point, which is the Siem Reap Shuttle/Easy Tour office on Sivutha Boulevard.
Then go on your tour by comfortable air-conditioned minibus at 8:30am sharp. The pickup service visits many hotels and so the pickup time is variable from 8:00am to 8:30am. If using the pickup service, guests are advised to wait in the lobby, be patient and be ready to go as soon as the mini-bus arrives.IMPORTANT NOTE: If you require hotel pickup, then you must tell us the name of the hotel and preferably the street when you book. If guests do not inform us of the pickup location, we cannot pick you up.
Please be advised that Temples entrance tickets (passes) are NOT INCLUDED. Guests must buy their tickets before the tour, or else the mini-bus will stop at the Apsara Authority ticket office on route so that guests can buy their ticket.
The first major stop of the tour is Angkor Thom complex. The guide explains what the guests are about to see; the history, the culture and the religions that were at play. Inside the great walls, guests explore the fascinating beauty of Bayon and the world-famous Ta Prohm (Tomb-Raider) Temple. The mini-bus transports guests the short distances between the temples. This will take a few hours.
Next big stop, is to allow guests to enjoy one of the many local restaurants within the Angkor Complex with some tasty Cambodian eats!
The last two stops are at the enormous and beautiful Angkor Wat, followed by a beautiful sunset view from the top of Phnom Bakheng.
The temples on this tour are among the biggest in the Angkor Complex.
Phnom Bakheng has a 300 person limit at the peak, so we limit the number of temples visited to ensure enough time at each marvelous stop!
Note: Good weather conditions and a beautiful sunset cannot be guaranteed. If the skies are significantly cloudy and particularly if it is raining, then climbing the mountain has little benefit and is actually dangerous. In this case, the guide is permitted to cancel the Phnom Bakeng section and replace it with a visit to the Elephant Terrace at Angkor Thom.
Once the sun has set (6:30pm) and guest legs have gone sore, we head back to town. Guests are normally dropped off at their hotel around 7:00pm.
the tour guide is quite nice and always take care of our tourists. He always took photo with us, giving a friendly environment during the trip. I highly recommend this trip, the prices is not expensive and reasonable. Also you can meet new friends there!
