Angkor Sunrise Discovery Bike Tour
From US$85.00
Overview
The magnificent Angkor Archaeological site is Cambodia’s most visited attraction and it’s almost impossible to escape the crowds when touring the temples. On this tour, make an early start to watch the sunrise over Angkor Wat before the tour groups arrive, then explore the vast archaeological site by bike, following quiet jungle trails to temples including Bayon, Ta Prom, and the Elephant Terrace.
What to Expect
Begin your tour with an early-morning pickup from your Siem Reap hotel and transfer to the Angkor Archaeological Park by air-conditioned minivan. Arrive in time to watch the magnificent sunrise over Angkor Wat, then head down to explore the ancient temple at its most atmospheric, bathed in the warm glow of the morning sun.

Set off on your bike tour and benefit from the cooler morning temperatures as you cycle along jungle trails and dirt tracks, avoiding the busiest routes used by taxis and tuk-tuks. Stop for breakfast at a local restaurant, then spend the morning visiting ancient wonders such as the Bayon Temple, Ta Prom Temple, and the Elephant Terrace.

After an adventurous morning, covering a distance of around 15–18 miles (25–30 km), break for lunch, before returning to Siem Reap, where you will be dropped back at your hotel.

My favourite tour of the whole trip, the best way to see the Angkor Complex

From the moment I booked this tour 3 months out from my holiday, I was looking forward to this the most between all the activities I had planned in Thailand and Cambodia and I was not disappointed, the highlight of my trip. From being at...More

Great Path

Bike riding is the way to go to see the temples, you get to see more remote sites and ride along the most wall, which is an amazing site. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating and a very much enjoyed the food too.

Not sure. They have quite a few bikes, so will likely accommodate a larger number.

You need to be in pretty decent physical shape to do the bike tour. You spend 6 hours on and off the bike. When you are not riding, you are walking around sites. The road is very bumpy
