Desert Safari in Dubai with Barbecue Dinner and Live Shows

Overview
Dubai’s desert isn’t just about sand and dunes: It’s a living part of Emirati traditions and history. With this tour, experience the full desert-and-culture package in one afternoon and evening—difficult to arrange independently. Enjoy a dune bash, camel ride, sandboarding, and henna art. Watch belly-dancing performances and savor an Arabian Nights atmosphere with dinner under the stars. Hotel pickup and drop-off make the experience ultra-smooth and convenient.
What to Expect
Depart your Dubai hotel by air-conditioned 4WD and journey into the desert.

Once outside the city, go off road and enjoy a dune bash: zooming over the slopes with a guide/driver at the wheel. Then, head to an oasis and camel farm before climbing up a dune for photos of the desert sunset.

Next, continue to a safari camp that's designed to replicate a traditional Bedouin settlement. Here, try sandboarding and camel riding, and enjoy an optional quad bike drive (own expense). Then, slow the pace by getting a henna tattoo, donning Arabian robes for souvenir photos (own expense), and trying a shisha (Arabic water pipe).

Watch live belly dance and tanoura (whirling dervish) shows and savor an open-air buffet of barbecued meats and Emirati specialties with unlimited soda and water. Alcoholic drinks are available to purchase.

Your experience finishes with a drop-off at your hotel.

Perfect if you’re only in Dubai for a short time. Really warm and welcoming staff. A wonderful adventure for a reasonable price. Go with sensible expectations and you’ll have a great time.

If you take a tour, you must add 'pick up & drop off' time : total more than 6 hrs. If you are on your own : may be 4hrs... you must arrive before sunset on the dunes.... Hope this will help....

I’d contact them. It’s really fun. I think your son would really enjoy it. But the car does quite a lot of bucking around on the dunes and I honestly don’t know if it would be ok health-wise for a very young child.
