Overview
Be amazed by the beauty of Montenegro on a day trip from Dubrovnik to some of the country’s main towns and sites. Take in views of the Župa Dubrovacka and Konavle valleys on a scenic drive along the beautiful Bay of Kotor (Boka Kotorska) and take a guided visit to the charming town of Perast. Enjoy an optional boat trip to Our Lady of the Rocks island and continue with a walking tour and free time in Kotor on the Adriatic Coast.

Highlights
  • Explore the scenic Montenegro coast on a full-day tour from Dubrovnik
  • Leave the navigation to your guide, who also provides historical context
  • See more of Montenegro in one day than if traveling on your own
  • Hassle-free round-trip transportation from Dubrovnik hotels
What to Expect
After pickup from your Dubrovnik hotel, settle into the minivan as you head south to Montenegro. Your guide shares history and culture as you drive past the Adriatic Sea and Dubrovnik Riviera. Cross into Montenegro, circling the Bay of Kotor. Stop in the town of Perast and take an optional boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks to see its baroque church. The minivan heads to Kotor for a walking tour of its historic churches. Enjoy free time to explore the cobblestone streets. Head down the coast to Sveti Stefan, a former medieval fishing village on an island-like inlet that is now a luxury hotel. The next stop is Budva, a walled city on the sea where you have free time to explore or eat (own expense). Take a ferry ride across the Bay of Kotor and ride along the Montenegro coast on your way back to Dubrovnik and your hotel.

While weather can't be controlled, discretion of the tour guide can. We were left standing for over one hour under the entrance to the old city in the pouring rain and saw nothing, we did have a 30 minute tour that the guide couldn't wait...More

We were quite surprised when we were messaged the day before to say our pick up time was 6.30am given we thought it was meant to start at 8am. But reluctantly we woke up early and went down to the meeting point but it ended...More

Picked up at newly agreed time of 6.30am (brochure indicated 8am). At 8am we were still in Dubrovnik sitting in layby's. Whether something had gone wrong I have no idea because the communication from tour guide was almost non existent. We then went to the...More

We enjoyed this day trip to Montenegro! Although people seem critical on these reviews about the long day, this was expected as the tour company really had no control over the border crossing! The tour guide kept us updated on upcoming stops/timing and it was...More

I booked three tours in the region, all as a singleton. Border crossing generally 39 min delay,, except Montenegro to Criatia which took 2.5 hours. Worth it though.
