About
We will start our cruise from Split, largest city in Dalmatia. If you have been exploring Split or you are planning to, you will see that Split is combination of unique historical buildings and modern, urban waterfront – Riva. To make picture complete, a wooded peninsula Marjan hides the most beautiful secluded beaches.
In the morning we will head to island of Hvar and town of Hvar. Hvar is the most popular island in Croatia and town of Hvar is the most popular settlement on the island. Island of Hvar owes its popularity to strategic and nautical position, mild climate and dense Mediterranean nature.
We will visit island of Korčula and town of Korčula. Island of Korčula is easily recognizable thanks to its dark, dense pine forests, vineyards and olive groves. Indented coastline offers many secluded pebble and sandy beaches and bays. Island has much to offer when talking about history, culture and natural beauty.

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- karentU1126WV0 contributionsVery disappointing deluxe cruise of beautiful CroatiaCruise from Split to Dubrovnik with MS Adriatica - We booked a small boat cruise from Split to Dubrovnik (Croatia) with Sun Island Tours for September. This was meant to be the trip of a lifetime - the cruise was very expensive - over $10,000 for 2 people for 7 days, and was advertised as "deluxe". We were very disappointed in the tour on MS Adriatica. We paid for an upper deck cabin and ours was unlike the photos - 1 sq m smaller with only one window (not 2) and an extremely small bathroom we could barely fit in. The crew were surly and did not provide sufficient information or briefing about the boat or tour. The weather was poor (no one's fault) which meant neither the covered or open decks could be used and the bar area was too small to accommodate the passengers. There were no attempts to integrate the passengers or to offer entertainment in the bad weather. We didn't see the Captain even at the Captains Dinner (and he was the owner). After a buffet breakfast (good) there was a formal sit down 3 course lunch each day which impacted on the day's activities. The dining room was very tight so you couldn't;t stand up once seated. There were changes to the itinerary which weren't fully explained. We tried to communicate with un Island Tours to express our disappointment - despite 3 emails and a phone call, they were dismissive of our issues. Croatia is very beautiful and we saw some lovely ports, towns and parks. A boat trip is the perfect way to see the Dalmatian Coast; however, do NOT book a Croatian tour through this company as their provider is inadequate and the trip of our lifetime was very disappointing, despite the beauty of Croatia.Written 4 December 2024
- 183linaz0 contributionsAVOID, THIS IS A SCAM!!!!This company is a scam, do not use them! We booked a transfer from Zagreb to Split, with a stop at Plitvice National Park. There was no communication before the tour, just a location and time to meet. We never got picked up, they also sent us to a location where pick up by a car was pretty much impossible. I called several times, got hung up on once, and then no picked up after that. I finally emailed them and they said they had an accident. No alternative solution was provided and we were left stranded.Written 23 September 2024
- X9597HRmiag0 contributionsDo not book with them!Stay away from them, they are scammers! We booked the 6 islands trip and they sold us a dream. First we couldn’t go to the blue cave, because the water was too high (not their fault) , the driver suggested the green cave, but kept on discouraging us from going and saying it’s nothing special. The group decided to go and when we arrived, he said oh we won’t go in it’s a 3 hours wait. The blue lagoon was nothing like promised, they literally dropped us at the beach for 45 mins of swimming. 90% of the tour we spent it on the boat driving. They did not want to refund the money for the blue lagoon.Written 17 September 2024
- supersisi0 contributionsSCAMMER – BEWARE LUKA DAGELIĆ at DALUMA TRAVELSCAMMER – BEWARE LUKA DAGELIĆ at DALUMA TRAVEL We booked a two night yacht trip with LUKA DAGELIĆ at DALUMA TRAVEL in February 2024, for a family holiday in August 2024, the cost of the trip was EUR 3,700. He requested full payment in advance, which was paid. During the transaction, what we requested from his website (2 days private sailing with breakfast lunch wine and beer included) was altered by LUKA to not include and food, drinks or snacks, he did not make clear this change. In May 2024 we requested details of the location, route, boat booked etc. LUKA replied we would get this information for the location of the ship and the skipper contact details 15 days before departure. Six days before departure we chased LUKA again for details of our booking, where he asked to be reminded on how many people we were, he then tried to change our booking from a yacht to an apartments and island tour. We declined this change as we have booked a two day yacht experience. No further details were provided. Five days before departure we chased LUKA again for details of our booking. LUKA became very angry at my requests for information on our trip. LUKA then stated he would cancel our trip and refund us. We pursued this option as clearly the trip was either not booked at all by LUKA or he is a SCAMMER. LUKA is now refusing to refund our trip and has blocked me contacting him on WhatsApp. We have taken legal advice and filed a police report against LUKA DAGELIĆ at DALUMA TRAVEL.Written 28 August 2024
- M5565KOteresah0 contributionsNever showed upI booked this tour a few weeks ago and nobody showed up at the pickup location this morning. Frustrating after hiking all over town with my bags and then having to change plans and grab a Flix bus. Supposedly they tried to call but I never received any messages. They didn’t email ever and the number on my confirmation didn’t work.Written 27 August 2024
- blesserenep0 contributionsInaccurate tour description & even worse customer service. AVOID at all costs unless you want to be ignored once you payThe actually sailing was amazing and a really good time. My issue is with Daluma Tours who arranged it. Firstly on their website they misleadingly advertise the trip as costing 650 euro. It was in fact 800 euros. The reason they stated was that it is high season but we were informed after the fact. The other issue was the fact that the trip title and description explicitly state lunch is included. Lunch was NOT part of this trip. When I reached out to Luca and his team they said that lunch really just means crackers. I asked for a partial refund for the lunch portion. Luca eventually relented and asked for my bank info. He and his team have since ghosted me. No answer via email or phone calls. Would avoid this operator at all costs!Written 12 August 2024
- joannaz030 contributionsBlue lagoon- half day tourThe tour was perfect for a half day since I was traveling solo with an 8year old. Good for older kids 7+. We had a speedboat which was super fun. Small group of only 12 which was great. The organization itself is seamless and the experience is fun! The staff is wonderful: kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Very well organized.Written 4 August 2024

- 576agustine0 contributionsPerfect! The tour guide Martin was super easy going and explained everything clearly. It is a great way of exploring the beautiful Krak NP at your own pace and take a swim in a Croatian river, a nice break from all that beach time 😉Written 21 June 2024
- jorgemS2987JL0 contributionsGreat plan, essencial for those who visit SplitWe bought the ticket when we arrived in Split. We couldn't go when we scheduled initially and they had no problem that we came the next day instead. The trip was a highlight of our stay in Croatia: super well organized, a beautiful route and overall a day well spent. Both krka and skradin were amazing. Martin, our guide, is one of the best I've met: he respectfully lead us during the whole day with the perfect amount of humor, empathy and he took care of us at all times. I definitely would recommended it to those who visit Split!Written 21 June 2024
- markwG4874PH0 contributionsExcellent day trip to Krka and outstanding guide!!!Great day tour and the guide Domo kept things light but informative. He also gave clear instructions, allowed for people to go on their own and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Highly recommend if you are looking for a trip to Krka that leaves at a reasonable time and is not out of the roof expensive. Thanks again to Daluma and Domo!!!Written 20 May 2024
- Lovetotraveldubai0 contributionsA wonderful trip to Krka. Excellent organizationExcellent experience! Our journey from Split was comfortable made more pleasant by our very likable and good natured guide. Martin, our guide, was very informative and lighthearted . His unreserved offer of help with absolutely anything was genuine and very much appreciated. On arrival at Krka National park gates he bought the park tickets and we were on our way. Some joined him on a short ethnic walk and some went through the park enjoying magnificent little cascades and river paths until we reached the main waterfall. Krka falls are beautiful and well worth a visit . Nowhere near as big as Plitvice lakes but very nice indeed. River is full of fish and dragonflies and butterflies are abound. Lots of birds too…once at the main waterfall we had enough time to take a break for a coffee and a snack before we were gathered and directed to a boat to Skradin. Skradin is a lovely small and colorful little town. We chose to have a lunch and just walk around until it was time to go back on our bus and head to Split. One could swim at the local beach in Skradin but in May not many decided to try it. Journey back was leisurely . All in all a lovely day and a super trip.Written 17 May 2024

Actually it was a 7 day cruise from Split to Dubrovnik to Split on the Black Swan. A beautifully designed yacht with an delicious captain and family and all crewmembers were a joy. The food was excellent, the cabin beautiful and soundproof, everything perfect down to the quality of the toilet paper. Everything was beautifully organised and the the tour manager Aida was very efficient and knowledgeable and a wonderful person and always staying calm even with some very difficult passengers. We enjoyed every minute. I will not mention every crew member but they were all efficient and lovely. If I could have one complaint it would be the instant coffee but the Americans love it. so thank you all for a wonderful vacation and good health to you all (Anja)

This 'cruise' was easily the low point of our honeymoon vacation, and perhaps the worst vacation I've ever experienced. While the weather was not ideal for sailing, we only got to see one island in our itinerary, the other two days we were docked in an ugly, industrial port called Ploce. The cruise manager encouraged everyone to race to the sundeck to view this port, and it was quite difficult to conceal our disappointment. While some decided to disembark and explore the town (and reported nothing worth seeing), my newlywed husband and I retreated to our cabin for a good cry. No other cruise company chose to dock here. This was not what we signed up for.
Little accommodations were made to explore this beautiful country. We were bussed to an oyster port and given 3 oysters and about an hour to walk the 'third longest wall' in the world. There was one stop asking the way for us to take pictures of a modern bridge. Apparently, the Croatians are very proud of this bridge, which circumvents the Bosnian border, but none of the passengers were interested in this bit of history or economic development. The following day we were bussed to Dubrovnik. What a relief it was to depart.
We were sold on a bespoke itinerary, with few touristy attractions, and what we experienced was quite the opposite. The entire crew only talked about how strange the weather was and all of the activities we were missing out on.
The jacuzzi was never in operation, even while we were moored. My husband, a first- time cruiser, experienced seasickness during a rough patch in the journey. Normally, a crew offers motion-sickness medication, but instead he was chastised for drinking too much (he had just started his second beer and only chose to have it out of boredom and noticing other passengers doing the same), and his drink was taken away.
While the crew was lovely, and we were technically on a boat, I can only think back on this experience with heartache. I am embarrassed to recount any part of this trip to friends and family.
