I'd really recommend this tour. Aleksandar was a great guide and wee got to see some really interesting sights and hear some of the history behind them. I really enjoyed it!
Meet your guide at your Belgrade hotel and depart in an air-conditioned minivan or car to Vojvodina. Learn about the history of Northern Serbia as you view the colorful landscapes of the Pannonian plane from your window. Arrive at Fruska Mountain and visit one of the 16 medieval Orthodox monasteries in the surrounding forests.
Make your way to Sremski Karlovci and explore the town landmarks, including the Four Lions Fountain, The Karlovci Gymnasium, the Serbian Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas, and the Serbian Orthodox Theological Seminary. Taste local Bermet wine and Kuglof cakes.
Continue on to Petrovaradin Fortress and enjoy the view of the city of Novi Sad. Descend to the city and stroll through the streets to admire its many highlights and landmarks. Pause to enjoy a Serbian lunch (own expense) and wander through Novi Sad independently.
Return by vehicle to your Belgrade hotel.
