Castles of Transylvania: Private Day Trip from Bucharest
US$73.52
Overview

Peles Castle, Bran Castle, and Brasov are all highlights of Romania, but if you’re based in Bucharest, it can be tricky to tick all three of your list without hiring a car. On this tour, visit the two castle and take a walking tour of Brasov in the company of an English-speaking guide. Travel comfortably in an air-conditioned minivan or car.

What to Expect

Meet your English-speaking guide at your Bucharest hotel and depart in an air-conditioned minivan or car. Travel to Sinaia and visit Peles Castle, where you can admire the German renaissance architecture flanked by the Carpathian mountains.

Continue on to the 14th-century Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle. Pause for a Romanian lunch at your own expense.

Get back on the road and make your way to Brasov. Embark on a walking tour of Brasov’s historical center. See highlights of the city, including Council Square, Black Church, Citadel of Brasov, Ecaterina's Gate, White Tower, Black Tower, Rope Street, Palace of Justice, and City Hall.

Make your way in your vehicle back to Bucharest. Conclude the tour with a drop-off at your hotel.

Tour guides: attentive, patient, walking encyclopedias!
