Enjoy the tour of the cave
From the time we got into the bus until the drop off was a pleasure. Tia Maria, Lady Gaga, Sponge Bob all added humour and knowledge of the Fijian culture and landscape. The cave was a beautiful site to see.

        Epic cave!
Sadam and Ace were fantastic guides. Sadam shared so much of his culture and history with us, he was amazing! The cave was super cool and a unique adventure! The drive to the village was stunning! I highly recommend this excursion!

        Simply amazing
We (2 adults and a 6 year old) stayed at Shangri-La Yanuca Island and booked the Sigatoka off-road Nahehe cave tour on a Thursday morning. The transit was easy, under 30 minutes and had plenty of opportunities to have a rest stop, use the toilets, etc before getting to the Sigatoka river to commence the activity. I went in with no expectations and long story short - the trip was amazing. A short and fun ride in a boat to cross the river followed by a little bit of climbing and then into the off-road vehicle driven by Moses and guided by Tia who were so fun, professional, and helpful. We travelled through a few villages and beautiful scenic spots before seeking permission to enter the cave. The cave itself was quite manageable, even easy, to move through with a small child having Tia's guidance. We finished the tour with a delicious BBQ and food provided by the hospitable village priest, his wife and Moses. Try the Kava and bread fruit! Highly recommended if you are in the area. This was a highlight for our visit to Fiji.

        Best tour ever
Zac, Tia and Terry were amazing. The vehicle, the boat and the cave were exceptional. The locals were welcoming, they provided a lovely fresh lunch and swim in the river was refreshing. If you want to do anything authentic, do this tour.

        AWESOME TOUR
WOW-------BEST PART of our HOLIDAY. Tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Got to learn culture, history, new foods, and life of locals. It was nice to see the real locals and not the tourist areas where everything is artificial. 10/10

Sadam was an absolutely fantastic guide who made our off-road Cave Safari an unforgettable experience! From the moment we met him until the end of our tour, we had the most incredible day. He was funny, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Thank you, Sadam—we’ll definitely be back!

        Loved every second of it!
Absolutely loved my time on this experience. The off road driving was so fun, a bit bumpy but very entertaining! It was so lovely getting to shout out ‘Bula’ to local villagers as we drove past, with many children coming up for high fives. The actual cave exploration was also really interesting and informative with the guide’s storytelling adding to the experience. I would agree with other reviews talking about accessibility into the cave though. The entrance, referred to as ‘pregnancy gap’ involved a lot of crouching which may be trickier for those with back problems. The lunch afterwards was delicious with sausages, bread, and local vegetables and fruits. The off road driving was definitely my highlight but it was all super fun. All in all a great day out and one of the best parts of our Fiji Holiday!

        Fun trip
Really fun trip. The off-road driving was exciting, scenery beautiful and the commentary from 'Lady GaGa' was very entertaining! The cave was good too - made much more interesting by the informative guide. You have to be prepared to wade through water about thigh-deep and be prepared to duck pretty low to get into the cave. Perhaps not suitable for young children (under 8s?) or people that struggle with mobility. All in all, a really good morning.

        Must do in Sigatoka
Tia and Moses showed us an excellent time. The caves are spectacular and the off-road segment fun but very mild. There were lots of photo ops at Sigatoka Valley and in the caves. The lunch was simple but lovely -- fresh cut fruit, BBQ'd fresh vegetables, bread, and sausages, and soft drinks. The kava ceremony was obviously an oft-practised exercise for Moses and the host family, but it felt very special nonetheless.

        Informative, Friendly and Fun
This off road cave safari was fantastic. This tour provides a wonderful experience of the interior, Fiji's food bowl, local villages and beautiful nature. Our guides Moses and Saddam were brilliant, so passionate as they were local, residents of two of the villages that we went through. I am a little chunky and not overly fit so was worried about the entry to the cave but was easily able to do the walk down and back to the caves and was able to crawl through the space with the guiding hand and light from Saddam. This was a brilliant your and would recommend people do this for a bit of nature, culture and adventure. A

Awesome sigatoka off road cave safari tour
This tour was phenomenal. Started out with a great mini bus pickup from elijah, then had a fabulous guide sadam and driver moses. Loved all the info from sadam, was such a good day and a great lunch. Ended with a wonderful mini bus driver home, zac. He was also very polite and informative on the way home. Perfect end to a really excellent day.

        Our best day in Fiji
Our family went on the Off Road Cave adventure yesterday. It was the best day of our holiday Our guide Tia Maria and driver Moses were amazing. We have a family of 7 with the youngest two children ages 2 and 1. Our Fijiian friends were amazing and helped with the children which made the day so much more enjoyable. This experience takes you into the real Fiji. Through farming villages and meeting wonderful people. The cave was incredible with so much history. A full Kava ceremony with village priests. The lunch at the village top class. Beautiful food grown locally. Off roading was a real experience that we all loved. If you want to spend a day within the real Fijian experience this is the trip for you. Thank you Tia Maria and Moses for the best day.

Great experience, the boats felt safe and was a lot of fun. The locals were friendly and the food was nice the whole experience seemed authentic. I was very impressed with our captains (Fini) skills on the river she drove the jetboat in some parts pretty shallow water and did not make a single mistake. She was very focused and the 360's were pretty fun too.

I would definitely recommend this tour however the one issue I had was after we were picked up from the boat shed instead of being taken back to our drop off points at the resorts they took us back to their shop, probably hoping we'd buy stuff. We were already running late and had another activity so we just walked off and taxi'd it back, it is unnecessary to add this step. We already spent enough time at the same souvenir shop in the morning when we first arrived a second lot was unnecessary, it ended the day on a sour note as it felt like we were being taken advantage of and had our time wasted.

Bula Den We thank you for your comments following your "Great Experience" on the River Safari with Cpt Fini. We always appreciate our friends taking the time to share their thoughts from their time with us. I have passed on your kind words to Cpt Fini who was very appreciative. We note that your only reservation was the stop post-tour, which we only typically take if guests on the buses wish to have a short stop. As you can imagine with various guests on board with varying needs, we do our best to accommodate everyone's requirements as best possible. Typically the stop is 10mins and there certainly is no pressure to purchase anything. We appreciate your own perspective but hope that this information helps qualify the short stopover. We once again thank you for choosing to share your Fijian holiday with us and we wish you a wonderful year ahead. Vina valevu djina Jay Whyte Owner/Operator Sigatoka River Safari

Had the best morning jet boating. We did the jet boat adventure only and were picked up from the Warwick. Our bus driver Nox, turned into our captain. Captain Nox. We were only a party of two that eventuated into a VIP party of three. Nox was informative and gave a clear vision on what to expect. On the river, he gave us the ride of our lives.. we travelled down the Sigatoka river and learnt some history of the area, tribes and cannibals. On the way back the thrills started, we donutted our way back up the river, the laugher we experienced from the fast moves and tsunamis of water were uncontrollable.
We were privileged to have stopped at sigatoka town on the way to check in, this gave us an opportunity to buy souvenirs. This saved an additional trip into town. At the end of the jet ride we had the option to view and buy some souvenir pics.

On the drive back, we had our own personal driver Zac. Not only was Zac one of the best drivers that we have come across in Fiji but his knowledge of the area and conversation was remarkable. He was extremely easy to converse with, had a great sense of humour and felt like someone that we had known for years. The transfer back to the Warwick which is normally over an hour felt like a 10 minute drive. We would definitely recommend this trip for anyone looking for some adventure and laughs.

We recently experienced a Jet Boat ride with Captain Finny and the Sigatoka River Jet boats. Her ability to navigate the Sigatoka River respecting the locals that used the river and the tree branches that were partially submerged created a comfortable and fun experience. She showed concern for all onboard periodically stopping to check the comfort of all her passengers. Captain Finny’s knowledge of the local region was informative and interesting. Zac was our bus driver from our resort and he keep us informed of the areas leading to the Jet Boat launch, and Ace excelled through his effort to returning us back to the resort safe and sound. The overall Jet boat experience was fast and exciting, everything we’d expected, hoped for and more.

my family and i spent 8 days exploring fiji but our day spent in the village of the sigatoka river was by far all of our favourite experience. The village people of Koroua were so kind, welcoming, loving and non - judgmental and will always stay in our hearts.
Captain Hot Laps was our speed boat guy who took us to his beautiful village and did some fast 360’s with us in the boat! He also taught us about the different family groups in a Fijian village. He shared a little bit of his own life and he is truely such a selfless and kind human being.
We had a traditional ceremony and got to settle into the community hall. after that we got a special welcome with each of our own homemade souvenir to take home. we got to eat their traditional foods and listen to the music they sung.
the aunties took my little sister out of my mums hands while she ate and danced and sung to her. it was so beautiful to see how trusting and loving these people were.
we also got to dance to their music and they really made an effort to make sure everyone was involved and felt connected.
when we were saying our final goodbyes the cheif told us that we were always welcomed back and i think that really touched all of our hearts.
we all started as complete strangers from foreign countries all over the world to one big connect blended family in just 2 - 3 hours.
my family and i even had our eyes tearing up a little towards the end because we really didn’t want to leave these beautiful people.
this is an experience that has changed my perspective on life and the human experience.
i will forever hold the village and people of Koroua close to my heart.
Thank you for this wonderful time Captain Laps and Koroua! 💗💗

      What an amazing day.

From the jet boat ride down the Sigatoka River, to the traditional kava ceremony, and the beautiful lunch made by the ladies of the village. the whole day was the perfect taste of Fijian culture and history.

Thank you to our jet boat drive Freddy for the exhilarating 360 spins in the boat (you will get wet), and to Jerry who was our guide through the village. The locals on this tour make it so much better as they welcome you into their village and their culture.

We truly feel like we are all one big family now.

We highly recommend the sigatoka jet boat safari it was an awesome experience. It was my partners birthday and they did everything possible to make his day special. They surprised us by presenting him with a magnificent birthday cake at the village where everyone sang happy birthday before we all danced,it was totally unexpected and something we will never forget. The tour is very well organised and all staff are amazing. We had captain Jack who was very entertaining super nice guy. The jet boat ride itself was so much fun, the scenery was breathtaking. The village tour was brilliant, the people so warm and welcoming. After a tour of the village you have a welcome ceremony where you get to try cava, then you have a beautiful lunch . After lunch you have the opportunity to donate any gifts to the village, there is plenty of singing and dancing. It was so much fun. It truly was the most memorable experience. A MUST DO.

Captain Leps was the best , gave us very informative history of the different tribes in the village , made the ride more with his great sense of humor. The experience itself was very humbly and made us feel and learn the real Fijian culture. Will recommend to any visitors of any ages.

I can't recommend this tour enough. From the hotel pick up to the drop off at the end of the day, everything was done professionally and with great humour.
Captain Freddy (our boat & bus driver) was an absolute hoot. He loaded the trip with plenty of jokes and interesting information all while driving the boat with amazing skill.
The time at the village was beautiful and the locals treated us like family.
The food was nice but it was local village food so don't expect gourmet, however the after lunch singing and dancing definitely made up for it.
One bit of advice which i'll give is that reasonable fitness is probably required.
There was a steep walk (a few hundred metres) from the boat to the village in really high heat and you're expected to sit on the floor for the lunch and entertainment.

We had the best time! There was a miscommunication, and it ended up being just myself and a friend. They still took us on the experience as planned rather than trying to reschedule (which we would have understood). Captain Jack was great, shared stories with us, and was full of knowledge and information.

The village was amazing. To be able to be a part of this for a short time was such a once in a lifetime experience that I would highly recommend to anyone!
