There are a number of attractions and points of interest that you may get to see along the way depending on what you are interested in, including: the prison, Black Rock, Arorangi CICC Church, palace, and Raemaru Park. Bike tour
Great back roads trip around Rarotonga, with the opportunity to stop and try some of the many tropical fruits growing by the roadside. Gave good insight to local culture and day to day living on the Islands. Tasty lunch and well maintained, comfortable bikes. Highly recommend

        A Must-Do!
Communication before the tour was excellent. Corinna happily accommodated our dietary needs for the lunch. She adapted the tour to the interests of our little group, and was able to answer our wide-ranging questions about historical and modern life on the island. We were all in our 50’s, and the biking was not difficult, especially with lots of stops to see things. But we did appreciate the stop to sit in the waterfall! This tour was one of the highlights of our trip!

        Fantastic!!!!!!
Corrina was the most knowledgeable guide. She asked us what we wanted to see and tried to accommodate everyone in the group. We were interested in plants and history and trying to eat edible plants. She was simply fascinating . Corrina is well spoken, humble, strong, a wonderful storyteller and is an accomplished singer also. We ended up touring with her twice. She was that much fun! It’s a must do when you go to Rarotonga! She is great. Don’t miss this amazing ride!

This was a fantastic experience, Corinna was a very warm and knowledgeable guide. We learnt so much about CI culture and history as well as tasting fruits along the way. Corunna asked at the beginning of the tour what we were all interested in learning about so she could accommodate our interests. Lunch was great and the whole experience exceeded expectations and was very good value.

        Fantastic tour
Highly recommended - we had a fantastic time. Corinna is so knowledgeable about the area, history and culture. She can cater to all interests depending what you want to get out of the day. Lunch was delicious. Unlike some of the tours in the island we felt it was very good value with a delicious lunch provided. Best tour we have done on the island.

        Great Cycle Experience!
Great Tour and we all four highly recommend Corinna's tour for a day trip! Corinna gave us all kind of history of area, vistas to photograph, dleicious lunch and swim provided and all kinds of information of the flora and fauna. Even met locals and art gallery along the way. Plenty of stops along the way and very safety conscience.

Casual walk with local fruits and nature knowledge.
3/5 stars. Not worth $50. This experience was a laid-back and casual style walk around some of the exteriors of prominent Island buildings. The guide is lovely and passionate about the indigenous fruits and trees, however the tour was unstructured and under researched. I found I was left unsatisfied as the tour didn't scratch my curiosity itch. The guide didn't speak much, unless questioned. The guide welcomed questions, however didn't have many answers or local intel (ie: history, settlement, traditional practices, Maori culture or economic data). Would have appreciated more bang for buck. Better to go to one of the island museums if you're keen to learn or orientate. If you go with this tour, bring a big hat and water.

History, culture and plant life in Avarua
The booking process was relatively easy and the communication with the guide was excellent. The tour itself was informative and enjoyable. On our casual stroll around Avarua we saw some local and historical sites and listened to some of their stories. We learned about the many native and exotic plants along the way, one that is poisonous! Thank you Corinna for the experience and a cool drink at the local pub to finish. Highly recommended. Great way to see Rarotonga from a different perspective
Great way to see Rarotonga from a different perspective. The bikes were comfortable and in great working order. Corrine is very knowledgeable about the island and its people, politics, and culture. We had some beautiful beach stops and took an inland road learned a ton about the island’s agriculture as we stopped along the way and picked and ate fresh fruits along the way, learned how to husk a fresh coconut with a stick and more- got carried away in conversation forgetting we were even on a tour. Very fun, informative, and would highly recommend

        Must Do at Rarotonga
This was the highlight activity for me when holidaying at Rarotonga 😊 Corrinna is an excellent guide, providing extremely knowledgeable insight into culture, history, as well as ample opportunities to sample fresh local produce growing alongside our trekking path. We were not rushed at all, taking our time to enjoy everything around us. The bikes are in prime condition, with Corrinna ensuring everyone was comfortable and fitted out well. The beach picnic at the end was truly scrumptious. I am going back next year and will be booking again.

        Cancelled, mrg of walk.
We had prebooked before we left NZ. And had a confirmation. Went to check email night before, still going ahead and it was cancelled on the morning of the walk,no reason as to why. Disappointed. Have refunded but less an admin fee?

Best bike tour for a perfect exploration of the island
This tour is the perfect way to explore Rarotonga. Corina, our Kiwi tour leader, had a great love and deep knowledge of her adopted island and happily shared entertaining information about the local culture, history, and plant life. Totally recommend taking this fantastic tour.

Exciting, surprising & informative! WE loved it!!
Corrina welcomed my three children, husband, mother-in-law and I warmly at our resort. We took the truck to our starting point and enjoyed an incredibly informative, exciting, and surprising tour! Our children were amazed by the beauty which surrounded us at every corner. Corinna’s skill and intelligence about the nature which surrounds the island, knowledge about politics, way of living and beyond was not only intriguing yet entertaining. Our children were excited to see new plants, taste the sweet fruits fresh from the trees, witness a coconut 🥥 being open, meet local animals, and learnt some valuable sustainable concepts. She was such a vibrant, welcoming, informative tour guide with a lot of surprises on her program!! Highly recommend if you want an easy walk, or for parents with younger ones.

If you want close up and personal knowledge of Rarotonga, Storytellers fits the bill & you'll have fun meanwhile
I wasn't in any doubt when I met Corina at Saturday's market, that she knew her onions. Having spent this morning on her 3 hr cycling tour with lunch, I tell you she knows more than onions! The whole experience was a pleasure, informative, "ask me any questions" , current affairs, politics, fruit, history, as we peddled along feeling totally safely and imaginatively entertained. Somehow her candidness made this more than a Guided tour. Thank you Corina for explaining the good, bad, eye-opening (as well as that Coconut) , colourful, truths and all. The drink stop was a good idea, parched due to the blustery weather. Lunch of really freshly made up BLT Turkush bread 'sandwiches' (door stops) went down a treat in the beach to conclude. Little moist muffins were most welcome. Comfy easygoing bike made cycling a breeze. The 8 of us I'm certain all thoroughly appreciated your professionalism and punctuality, but for my part the fact I never knew what you'd show us next really kept my interest. The time flew by. I heartily recommend Storytellers. If you can join a tour towards the beginning of your visit, armed with Corina's knowledge, you'll enjoy far greater appreciation of Rarotonga. I had such a great time on the Discovery cycle tour. Corrina (our very knowledgeable and accommodating guide) started the tour by going over a safety briefing, then she asked what particular interests we would like to cover during the tour.

Our tour group was interested in birds, the flora and fauna of Rarotonga, and its history. Corrina did a great job trying to fit in as much as we could into the tour time.

We visited some pretty amazing places like a family 'farm' with fruit I'd never seen on trees before (star fruit, mandarin, noni...).

The tour had a mix of fitness abilities and Corrina made sure it was challenging enough for people who wanted to see more, and she ensured we took ebough rest stops for those who needed it.

A highlight was trying all the fruit that was ripe in the season. Avocados! Star fruit! Mandarins! Mangoes! Coconut!

Actually there were so many highlights I just have to mention two more: I really loved finding out about the medicinal plants like the wild basil and the plant with edible purple flowers and the candle nut. Lastly, the lunch was delicious. The fruit came from the chefs own garden.

      Highly recommend.

I spotted this tour in one of the local magazines at our accommodation and thought it could be a really interesting way of seeing the island. Me and my husband have not ridden a bike since high school so I was a little weary that I would fall right away but I'm so glad we did this tour.
I loved seeing the back roads of the island, tasting fruit and hearing about the local way of life from Corrina. The pineapple we tasted at one of the local homes was so sweet an juicy, it will never taste the same to me now!
Corrina made sure that we were all safe and sound, that the group was able to go at a sustainable pace and that the tour was completely tailored to the skills of everyone. Thank you so much for a wonderful morning and a delicious lunch by the lagoon at the end!

We did the Explore tour, which is the longer "sister" tour to the discover. It was me, my sister, and my two daughters (7.5 and almost 5). We had an absolute blast. My 7.5 year was on the tandem bike and kept a smile on her face the entire 16km (9.5 miles) while my younger daughter was in a dolittle seat on my bike.

We loved stopping for coffee on the beach while snacking on the ice cream bean that was freshly pulled from a tree. My very picky daughter tried nearly everything that was offered, even asking for seconds of the fresh coconut.

The views, the history, the food all made for a wonderful morning out and about. We adored Corrina's knowledge and insights. While Waka provided a light hearted air to the tour - he was also very helpful in ensuring everything was doing okay being safe. Both Corrina and Waka was wonderful with my girls.

I will also add that Corrina did a wonderful job of coordinating safe food for my daughter. She has a food allergy and Corrina made sure I was comfortable with the accomodations they had made for her.

My sister and I just keep talking about our tour and how much fun we had. Even my "let's lay at the beach" kiddos were asking if we were going again before we head home.

100% a must do if you're interested in local culture, history, and food!!!!

Good quality bikes, sized to fit the rider. Lunch was delicious and there was plenary of food. Really impressed. Would 100% recommend.

I went on the Discover Cycle Tour with Corrina and Waqa and had a great time. We set off after receiving our bikes, helmets and a quick chat from Corrina regarding safety and what to expect. The bikes were easy to ride and the back roads were fairly flat making the ride an easy one. Corrina stopped along the way to show us the Island’s fruit and vegetables, chatted about some local customs and heritage of the Islanders. We fed some goats and saw some baby kids. The Tour ended on the beach with a delicious lunch of assorted tapas from a local cafe. This is a good tour to recommend for a great morning ride.

Highly recommend to anyone who wants a different way to see the island! Corrina is a wonderful guide and took us on a fun but relaxed journey on some of the inland roads. She knows exactly where to find all the best fruit trees — even in the off season, she took us to fresh tamarind (yum!) and ice cream beans. Bikes were in great condition and helmets are also included. We took plenty of breaks to rest and look at interesting sights and the bikes have plenty of gears to help you get uphill, so I think people with just about any fitness level can enjoy this tour (I was a bit nervous about not being able to keep up, but it wasn’t an issue at all).

This is a lovely way to spend 3 hours exploring the back road of the South/West of the island, having a peek into the real lives of the locals.
Corinna knew just where to take us to enjoy fresh fruit straight off the tree, pointing out local flora & fauna as we went and a coconut husking demo (for volunteers, of course).
There was even time for a brief stop at Castaway resort for a cold drink midway through the ride.
We covered 13 klms at a gentle pace on mostly flat roads on good quality bikes.
An added bonus was standing in the back of the Ute for the ride back to our car like the locals do - illegal in Oz!! - but a thrill just the same!!

Corrina was very knowledgeable about the island and gave us some interesting fruits to eat. The cycling is very manageable even if you are not the fittest. There are plenty of stops along the way while we shown the local fruits to eat. I would highly recommend spending the 3 hrs and learning there is more than just sun and sand to enjoy. The lunch with Kura Ngaata was entertaining and friendly, it was a nice way to finish the ride.

My partner and I were lucky enough to do a tour with lunch with just the two of us. Corrina was a wonderful guide, well informed, enthusiastic and very collaborative in the route the tour took. We heard all about the history of the island, how the original land was settled, past and current cultural rituals and reflections on more modern day life. The tour included a robust fruit and foliage experience and along with getting to husk and eat coconut we realise the bounty of accessible food on the island. Lunch was fantastic and local, Kura provided beautiful fresh tuna with green and papaya salads. Served on her property under a natural umbrella of her trees it was the perfect end to a informative and relaxing morning
