Great day tour
Our tour guide (Lillian) was extremely knowledgeable and made the entire experience worth while. We also got the chance to see and visit a local market and bakery, prior to climbing the steps for a great view of the sacred valley. Lunch was extremely nice, the company was professional and we had a great day. We used the same company for our trip to Machu Picchu where we had an equally informative and great guide (Ana) who made the day much better and answered many of our questions. Would definitely recommend Viajes Pacifico company for their excellent tours and great tour guides!

We were picked up from the hotel on time and taken to the train station which was about 2 hours away from Cusco. We caught Peru trail vistadome! We truly enjoyed the 1&1/2 hours trip to Aguas Calientes. We had a guide all the way through. Our guide at Machupichu was Yawar, who was very informative and very considerate to the elder couple in our group. Our group was small 7 total which I really liked. We had plenty of time in Aguas Calientes after Machupichu to eat and shop. On our way back in Perutrail we had the best service ever with Christion M, Alvaro C and Yajaida. These young people were awesome and made the 3 hours back to the Cusco station a lot of fun! When we got to the Cusco station a driver was waiting for everyone in the all groups to be taken back to their hotels. Everything was very organized but definitely a long worth it day!

Manchu Picchu
Had a nice time visiting Manchu Picchu however, you should be aware that there are different tours available to Manchu Picchu. If you want to visit the Sun Gate route this is not the right tour. We learned this after the fact. Also, we took the Expedition train and the train ride was outrageously rough. The train rocked horribly from side to side. We preferred to take the panoramic train but it was sold out on the day that we planned our tour. Not sure if the train ride would have been smoother.

Great Informative Tour
I had an enjoyable time on this tour. It lasted from about 8:30 to 5:30. The tour arrived right on time. Started with a lookout on the Sacred Valley for pics then off to the Pisac Market. The guide took us to a store where the owner explained the differences between the different alpaca textiles. After, we went to another store that explained silver jewelry. We were allowed about an hour to explore and shop then it was off to Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo was was amazing. Our guide provided the history and places of interest there. Be warned, the steps are harder than they look lol. The top has amazing views. We were given about half an hour to an hour to explore then it was off to a buffet lunch at a nice hotel. The food was pretty good but if you are suffering from altitude sickness, you might not be hungry. Take some tea or medicine. After lunch, we went to an alpaca farm where we were shown how alpaca textiles were made and dyed. Pretty awesome place to take a selfie with a llama or alpaca as well as buy souvenirs. Then we went back to Cusco. All in all it’s a fun time for sightseeing and shopping. Have fun!

A wonderful experience!
Our tour guide, Pamela, was amazing and spoke perfect English. The train was very luxurious and the food was delicious. This is the best and easiest way to explore Machu Picchu without any hassles or lines. Well worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Awesome time - great band
A fantastic train ride. In the beginning we had a cocktail and then listened to the music band. Out of the blue the band managed to get the people dancing- very funny and amazing. Food and service was great. We certainly recommend to take a ride - unforgettable!

Awesome Trip
Let me start with the hotel pickup, which they did excellently, I got a message that I would be picked up at 5:15am and they were there around the said time. After the pickup, I was worried because I noticed the I was the only one who needed an English guide. But thanks to the everyone who works for the agency they helped me all the way through the bus ride, getting on the train, and to the bus ride to the top of the mountain. Both bus rides were excellent (both going and returning from the destination). For the bus ride on the way to the Machu Picchu, I was hoping I would at least sit with a group with at least one who knows a little English, but I fall in the middle of 20-30 people tourists group whom I think from Asia (since I couldn’t communicate with them have no idea where they were actually from), I don’t think even their guide speaks any English because when I tried to ask him where they were from he either ignored me or didn’t understand me at all (by the before the train left the station the person sitting next to me mpved and changed places with their tour guide). All of this train experience made me feel way too much lonely, but guess this is an expected outcome when you travel alone. After this train ride I learned that since I was the only one in the original group who needed English guide there was a guide waiting on top on the site just to give me a tour which was perfect I basically got a private tour of the mountain with a excellent tour guide she explained everything in detail took pictures of me whenever I wanted, I mean I would have preferred that I was with someone else in the group, but no complaints here on how the tour turned out to be. After the tour I get to spend couple of hours in the city below Machu Picchu (forgot it’s name and I am too lazy to look it up now) where I got to taste some local foods and did some shopping. On the way back, I was this time seated with only one person again no English but the train ride itself was extraordinarily there was local dance and other shows (by the way I was on the Vistadome train not sure if all of the train options had this). After the train I got on to the bus and were left off in front of my hotel. Overall it was a great experience. Only think I would advise for people would be always ask your tour guide what you are supposed to do and watch for the signs they have in every step of the way to pick you up. Also, as a side note don’t forget to use sunscreen I only forgot to apply sunscreen to the back of my neck and now it feels like its on fire. Thanks for the excellent tour!

Great experience once you get to Machu Picchu
The tour company emailed to confirm the time and pickup location the day before the trip. The pickup arrived around 4 am to take us on the 90 minute-long ride from Cusco to the Ollantaytambo train station. There was time to get some items from the coffee shop before setting off on the 90-minute train ride to Aguas Calientes. The train ride was picturesque and refreshing enough to give us added energy for the tour. Once we arrived at Aguas Calientes, there was a short bus ride up to the entrance to Machu Picchu. The experience at the site was great! The tour lasted about 2 1/2 hours. The tour guide told great stories about the discovery of Machu Picchu. He also knew great ways to take certain photographs (angles, poses, etc.). Outside of the initial five-minute hike from the entrance, the trek through Machu Picchu was very easy. Once we finished the tour, the group went to lunch at Full House Peruvian Cuisine. The meal was great, so I recommend the restaurant if you stop through Aguas Calientes. We had an hour to go shopping in town before the train to Cusco arrived. The town is still in development, but there were plenty of shops selling your standard tourist items. The train ride back was less than to be desired. It was to Cusco instead of Ollantaytambo. This train ride was much slower than the first one. It took over three hours to arrive in Cusco, but it felt more like five hours with the starting and stopping of the train. The only positive about the return trip was the shorter ride from the train station back to the hotel. This ride is the only reason I didn't give the tour five stars. The Viajes Pacifico guides were great throughout the day. This was one of two tours that I booked with them while in Peru. I highly recommend this company for your Peruvian tours.

Ruben, Samuel, Boris, Rolando, Ursula, and all the other drivers were fantastic!
10 days in Peru were wonderful. All of the guides were punctual, interesting, helpful and friendly. There wasn’t anything they left out. Full of knowledge. We definitely recommend this company if you’re looking for a private tour company.

Knowledgeable and Professional Guide
We decided to do a day trip to Machu Picchu, and opted for the guide package that included the MP ticket price. Purchasing the package was very easy, and communication was very good - including where to meet our guide when we arrived at Aqua Calientes train station.. Due to an early morning accident, all trains leaving Cusco were late, including ours. Although we were about an hour late arriving, our greeter was waiting for us at the meeting location with a clearly visible sign with our names. Our guide then walked us to the bus and doublechecked our bus tickets. It looked like it might rain, so he offered to quickly run and find us some rain ponchos. The bus ride up the mountain was exhilarating, but uneventful. At the top our guide took us through the entrance, and the tour began. The site is amazing, beyond description, and our guide knew a lot about the history of Machu Picchu and the surrounding area and was able to explain it in a very clear and concise manner. After the tour was complete he guided us to the bus, we returned down the mountain and said goodbyes in Aqua Calientes We were very happy with the whole process, and really felt that our guide was solicitous to our needs and interests. Definitely recommend this service.

Astounding beauty
The tour itself was very organised from pickup to drop off. I picked the 360 train which was awesome and included complementary drinks and delicious sandwiches . Try their inka caramel and almond tea-very nice. The journey is absolutely breathtaking which is nice in the 360. Machu Picchu....what can I say it’s just beautiful . Go and see it for yourself. We had a very early morning start and great because also had an extra 2.5hrs to walk around Machu Picchu town before heading back to Cusco. Machu Picchu is also a good start cause it’s at a lower altitude if you are going to hike other places of higher altitude. I can’t fault anything.

Awesome train ride!
We got on at a stop outside of Cusco. We enjoyed the onboard band and the outside viewing deck on the bar car. The cappuccinos and chocolate pastries were delicious. Lunch was very good. When we arrived at Macau Picchu we had our on guide and no wait for a bus. It was included. We also had tea at the Sanctuary Hotel.
