What to Expect
Our guide will be waiting for you at the airport to start the excursion.

The ranch primicias is a private reserve. About 19 km from Puerto Ayora, where you can see giant tortoises in their natural state. Here you can also see owls, various types of finches, canaries, maria and other endemic birds of the islands. After walking in the underground of the lava tunnels . These are a lava formation due to the solidification of the external cortex of the lava. The flow that exists below this crust is moving and hence the formation of the tunnels.

Finally, a visit was made to the Twins, 2 very similar extinct craters that are side by side and surrounded by forests of other endemic plants.

Here there are some endemic birds from the upper part of the island such as birds and trees, as well as being able to enjoy the greenery and the freshness of the forests on the upper part.

At the end of the excursion we will take you to the hotel in which you will be located.

Touring in cotopaxi national park for older people
Visiting cotopaxi is impressive but you need to be lucky to see the mountain not too covered with clouds. Wind also plays its part and can be strong. There are many trails in the park so you don't have to climb too high. There are a few haciendas in the park with awesome views.

Hike was ok but snorkeling was rough
Boat ride was fun and captain was great. He made the ride as smooth as possible for us. We had a really well informed guide, Jorge. He had much history of the originating families on Floreana and their tortoises that remain there today. Food was great for lunch at a local restaurant. But when we got to the beach, the surf and rocks were very rough. It was really hard to get back to shore (everyone commented how tiring it was). I think we should have skipped the snorkeling under those conditions. And the guide should have not have left one person out there snorkeling alone, especially in those conditions. This part of the tour was definitely not worth the long hike there and back, especially with back packs and snorkel gear we had to carry ourselves.

Floreana was great, the guide was terrible
The ride was less than 2hours on a fast boat. At arrival we got on a minivan to drive up on the hill to start the walking tour. I didn’t enjoy the guide who took us around, Jorge. He wasn't much informed about the island, giving vague answers to simple questions, like how and when the Galapagos became part of Ecuador, but what I really disliked was the cheap way he was trying to be funny when talking about the tortoises. He kept making jokes about how and how often they have sex, using a language which wasn't funny and not appropriate for a 13 yrs old teenager, my son, and another teenager/young adult girl with her parents. Jorge was also very confusing with dates and events about the history of Floreana, but at that point I had lost interest in asking questions. At the beginning of the tour Jorge told us to stay in a group, we were 6 people, and to follow him. After lunch we started walking towards the beach, but he was walking so fast ahead of us that we lost him and were not sure which way to go. We kept walking and found him on the beach rushing us to get ready for snorkeling. We were able to swim with turtles and it was a great experience, but I wish we had a different guide. On the return ride more people got on board, to fill up the boat to full capacity. There was no space and was uncomfortable. Considering that the people who got on at Floreana paid $30 for the ride to Santa Cruz and I paid $236 each, I can't justify the price. At least we should have had a private boat

beautiful Guayaquil
Christopher escorted us around the city. He was well informed about the history and culture. He was energetic and caring and well spoken. He has a passion for the city and the country and it rubbed off on us. This was our first visit to South America and it was a great introduction. He showed us the historic sites, explained the history, showed us shopping and eating locations, discussed the safe and unsafe areas of the city and just had a passion for the country and it's beauty and culture.

Terrible
Don’t do it. These people don’t care about anything but making money. You will pay double what you’re supposed to and have a disorganized and confusing experience. Go with another company.

No show at Galapagos
We have just had the unfortunate experience of being left at the dock when we were supposed to be going on a tour of isabela island at the Galapagos. BM tours were contacted and stated they would send someone in a few minutes after several hours of no show we figured they were just lying. Had to find our hotel and have wasted a day and not sure if they will turn up tomorrow. After today’s experience I wouldn’t trust them at all.

Not a good experience at all
The place was amazing!! Its totally worth it to visit them. The Agency used here, TERRIBLE! They forgot to pick us up so we had to call from the hotel. Then they started contacting whoever could pick us up last minute and we waited from 8am until 10am for somebody to pick us up. Then the driver was upset because it was too late for the tour and he was rushing the whole time (Even in curves, which there is a lot, he was drifting with his car because he was in a rush). When we got to the lagoon, he didnt want us to do the hike because it was too long, and even when he was our guide, he did not want to accompany us. Little is to say that when coming back, still rushing or even more, he got a flat tire because the tires couldnt resist so much drifting, thanking God that it didnt happen in a curve 3,000 meter above sea level. So to resume, avoid anything related to BM tours. This is the second bad experience i have with the same agency here in Ecuador

A wonderful day out
Well organised. Attentive guide, with lots of knowledge. Exceptional wildlife on land and snorkelling. Playful sea lions while snorkeling were great. The food was plentiful and excellent. Would worry about the size of the boat on a more choppy crossing. Fortunately we had an extremely comfortable ride. Wetsuits were included in the snorkelling gear which not all companies offer, and were very appreciated.

This tour company is the WORST
We were never picked up by the tour company. After making our way to the docks with the help of hotel staff we got on the boat but the tour company did not provide any equipment!! The boat staff found fins but we had to snorkel in cold water without wetsuits. For almost $200 per person this is upsetting and a once in a lifetime opportunity was spoiled. Also, buy your tours locally. The markup on these sites is high and the money is needed locally. It was difficult getting support through Viator.

BH City Tour
Guide met us at our resort on time. His vehicle was immaculate & his English excellent. Everything went well, saw city sites in a practical fashion. Ended with historical residential area restored (approx 442 steps involved) & was able to complete on foot back to our resort. Excellent all round.

Guide was 3 hours late
The tour itself was nice, but the guide was 3 hours late - we tried calling the company, but were told to wait "a little longer". After a two hour wait they gave us two options: Go on the tour tomorrow, or wait another 30 min. for a new tour. We had tickets for the boat to Santa Cruz same day, so we chose waiting. After an hour our guide arrived. In all fairness, the guide we had tried his best to make up for lost time, but it felt a bit rushed.

Ambassador Bolanos!
The warmest of days, in both senses of the word. Jaime Bolanos picked us up right on time, his vehicle spotlessly clean. What followed was, in our opinion, among the best city tours we have taken anywhere. Jaime was truly interested in immersing us is the Guayaquil of OUR interests. With a laid back and informative manner, his knowledge of the history, emergence, and future of this Ecuadorian city flowed as he deftly drove us around town. His friendly manner and optimism painted Guayaquil with a warm and hopeful brush, and we spent the day absorbing all of its colors. He even helped one of us face his vertigo with a spin around Malecon's wheel. Thank you Jaime, for infecting your happiness into our one-time visit to Ecuador

Tour provider doesn't promptly book activity
On 27-Feb-2019 for I booked a full day Bartolome Island & Sullivan Bay tour for 13-Mar-2019. I received a notification from BM Tours 11-Mar-2019 that they had to cancel my booking. I went to a number of tour operators on Santa Cruz Island and they were unable to book me for a full day Bartolome Island tour. They all told me that ALL of the Bartolome Island land tours were booked. Clearly BM Tours did NOT book my activity when I paid them, but waited until a few days beforehand to do so. And when they couldn't book the activity, they canceled my booking which necessarily ruined my vacation.
