About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Trip482951912450 contributionsThe Best Tour Company and Guide in SingaporeWe are 4 couples from New Jersey, USA, who spent one night followed 3 weeks later by 4 nights in the city of Singapore. Through my research, I came across two highly rated companies - Hello Hong Kong and Hello Singapore. Over a year ago, I started my communication with Kyati, my point person for my bookings in Singapore. She was absolutely wonderful, helping to put together a 5 tour package for my group of 8 for the 5 nights / 6 days we would be in Singapore. This included gardens, bicycle, cultural, food - it ran the whole gamut of everything to see and experience in Singapore. But the key to the entire tour trip, what made it memorable for all of us, was our tour guide Gee Soo Boo. He was with us for every step of the way on every tour, which was a fantastic move. Because Gee was not only knowledgeable, but he was engaging, funny, complimentary, focused on us...in short, he was the perfect tour guide. He readjusted tours on the fly for things we wanted added and things we didn't need to see. He cut back on some of the food when we got full from the food tour (there is A LOT to eat on this tour...be prepared!). In short, he and the team at Hello Singapore made our stay in Singapore the most memorable it could be. If you are reading this review, you would be foolish to book with any other company than this one, and also foolish if you don't request Gee Soo as your guide.Written 11 February 2025
- jamesmD7286NQ0 contributionsPerfect Experience, Gene is the Consumate Tour GuideGene is among the top three guides I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy in my travels. He blended the right mix of information with interesting, historical stories, all the while keep us moving through the amazing sights of Singapore. His pace was perfect for our group, and we never once lost interest. We feel like we saw exactly what we asked for... and then some Gene picks that were equally incredible. I would highly recommend Gene and Hello Singapore to anyone visiting the amazing city-state of Singapore!Written 10 February 2025
- AnitaB5650 contributionsAMAZING SINGAPORE!What a fabulous day! Once again Gee Soo arranged a fantastic day in Singapore. He is so informative, flexible and accommodating. Truly a caring person who loves Singapore, his adopted country, his enthusiasm and knowledge is contagious! First, the 4 couples and Gee started off our tour in the historical part of Singapore. We saw the St. Andrew's Cathedral and continued to the National Gallery where we took in the million-dollar view from the roof top and we also made a quick stop at one of the holding cells at the Former Supreme Court Building. Next, we took the river boat cruise to see the old and new Singapore. Then, we took the bus to our next location to visit Pinnacle @ Duxton, the tallest public housing in Singapore where had another million-dollar view and learned more about public housing in Singapore. Lastly, we enjoyed the traditional Chinese tea appreciation at the Tea Chapter. We learned the bus and MRT (mass transit system) so well that we were able to take it the next day to return to areas that we wanted to explore more!!Written 9 February 2025

- LetsMakeaDeal790 contributionsAn Amazing Day in Singapore with Gee SooOur guide Gee Soo was fabulous!!! We had a day in Singapore before our tour, so he tailored our excursions so that we saw sights that we had not already seen. We visited the National Orchid Garden, the Kampong Glam, the Raffles hotel, the National Gallery and took a cruise on the Singapore River. He guided us through the subway system with ease! I especially liked the walking tour in the downtown area where he took us into several architecturally gorgeous buildings. The Atlas Bar was amazing!!! It was so helpful that he told us about events going on in the area near our hotel that night...a free concert and a light show at the National Gallery. We went on our own that night and enjoyed all the festivities! Additionally, Gee took pictures of us which he sent to us that night with a summary of where we had visited. Gee's diction is excellent and we had no problem communicating with him. He also has a very charming personality and we enjoyed his company. We felt so fortunate to have him as our guide.Written 5 February 2025

- JH3traveler0 contributionsA fabulous intro to Singapore--both the food and the cityWe did this tour our first morning in Singapore and it was a fabulous introduction to the city. We not only got to try a lot of food but we got some context for Singapore as we moved from neighborhood to neighborhood. Su Ling was amazing. This was so worth the price!Written 28 January 2025
- cawessotm0 contributionsGreat history beautiful sights.Pam did an excellent job showing us the highlights of Singapore featured on this trip. More importantly, she explained the history of Singapore in an enjoyable manner. We learned a lot and had a great deal of fun. Truly enjoyed the boat ride and tea ceremony.Written 28 January 2025
- Coastal7073560 contributionsHistory and culture come alivePam took us on a wonderful engaging and informative tour of Singapore/civic district, Clarke Quay ending in Chinatown where we ate at the famous chaotic hawker house and wrapped up with an elegant tea tasting. Pam clearly knows and loves the history and cultural of her city, taking us to viewing points and into neighborhoods we would not have known about and sharing the dynamics of the Singapore government and economy. The boat ride to the harbour area was delightful and the overall pace was efficient but not rushed. Highly recommend this tour and hope you get Pam as your guide!Written 28 January 2025

Tailor made and everything ran like clockwork - can’t fault this tour. Su Ling is so obliging and friendly too !Written 26 January 2025

We had boodked two-day private tour with Hello Singapore before our cruise. The process to book the tour was easy and straightforward. The site provided detailed information about the different types of tours and recommendations about the areas in Singapore. The communication was also quick and easy.
Gee Soo was our guide for the two days. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgable! He is one of the best tour guides we've ever had (we've used at least 30 private tour guides in the past). The first day was a 6.5 hour food tour. We used public transportation and had visited several different local areas and sampled 15 different kinds of food and drinks. Out favorites were nonya chang (rice dumplings), chicken murtabak, and sugarcane juice with lemon. In addition, panda kaya spread which we bought at the rice dumpling place was so delicious.
The second day we booked the tour with a car which made the tour more enjoyable due to the humid weather of Singapore. We visited the Garden by the Bay, Chinatown, and had Hainan chicken for lunch. The tickets of the garden were arranged in advance with the company.
Gee Soo not only showed us around multiple diverse areas in Singapore but also told us about history and lives of Singaporeans. He followed what we wished to to and see. He was very accommodating to our pace because we still experienced jet lag from long flight. Gee never missed any photo opportunities for us, especially at hightlight sites, which gave us more time to relax and enjoy the food/scenery. We had a wonderful time. Gee Soo also sent a summary of what we did at the end of each day, which was helpful. We highly recommended Gee Soo and Hello Singapore tours.

Pamela and Bernard (driver) were amazing. They created a 6 hour custom itinerary for family with 3 young kids that kept them having fun all day! We experienced the Singapore Flyer, Little India, Chinatown, and Bugis shopping having so much fun despite the rainy weather. Pamela was timely, kind, very knowledgeable during the tour, and creatively kept us moving from one great experience to the next including lots of tastings of yummy foods and tea.

Our Singapore private tour with the BEST tour guide (Pamela Loh) and our spectacular driver Bernard. My husband and I have high expectations when traveling. We like to experience as many things as possible in a given day but do not want to be rushed or herded like sheep. We also want a guide that is knowledgeable, friendly and gives you an immersive experience as a local.
I highly recommend Hello Singapore Tours and you will not be disappointed—request Pamela as she was excellent, knowledgeable, respectful, entertaining and just extremely fun to spend the entire day with around the city.
Recap of the tour
First, we checked out the National Orchids Garden where we saw many wild and hybrid orchids.
Then, we stopped at Marina Bay overlooking the iconic Marina Bay Sands and learned of the story of Merlion. We saw Raffles, the founder of modern Singapore and visited the old parliament house before making it along our Singapore River into Fullerton Hotel, the former General Post Office.
Next, Bernard drove us to the oldest Chinese temple in Singapore, Thian Hock Keng. After which, we made our way to the heart of Chinatown. Along the way, you tried the pandan chiffon cake. Then, we also had lunch at Chinatown hawker centre where you tried a local snack, popiah (fresh spring roll), carrot cake, chicken rice where you washed it down with the tiger beer.
Lastly, we visited Gardens by the Bay, the 2 conservatory domes, Flower Dome and Cloud Forest where you saw more cherry blossoms where you thought you were done with in Tokyo and the second tallest indoor waterfall in the world.

Pamela was an amazing guide and we had a fantastic time seeing the local sites in Singapore. As a Neurosurgeon, I am not easily impressed with the work ethic of other people often come quite disappointed from things like this. Hello Singapore tour guided by Pamela was simply outstanding in my book. We covered a lot of ground in our six hour tour and Pamela was incredibly informative and a real pleasure to work with. From her prompt meeting at the airport and the luxurious van accommodations and outstanding driver during the tour we felt comfortable with her right from the start. Well organized well sold out itinerary and color commentary gave us a good understanding of the history of Singapore.

My sister and I did the custom half day tour. Gene was our guide and did a fantastic job curating the experience around our interests.
In 4 hours, we got to try Singaporean food, walk through Chinatown, Little India, Arab Street, and Marina Bay. Hanging out with Gene felt like family. We shared some laughs and even had delicious tea together!
I would highly recommend Hello Singapore for anyone who wants an intimate and private experience that is tailored to your liking.

We had an absolutely amazing time on our tour with Gee Soo. He was incredibly knowledgeable and customized the tour specifically to what we were looking for. He was able to adapt the itinerary in the middle of the tour so we could see multiple light shows and made sure we arrived at our reservation at the end of the tour on time. Gee Soo made sure we saw as much of the city as possible in the short time we had in Singapore.

We traveled as a group of 8 friends (4 families), and we've been very lucky to be shown a great city by a professional agency and a very knowledgeable and pleasant guide
- Richard. For some of us it was the first time in Singapore, and we benefited immensely from a very informed, well organized and efficient tour guide. After six hours of exploring the city by bus, walks and talks, we felt that we fell in love with the city, its people and their culture. Very rewarding experience, and we highly recommend it to other travelers to this part of the world!

Su Ling was a terrific tour guide, for our first visit to Singapore. She showed us all around the city, from the oldest district (started by Sir Stamford Raffles), to the latest, most advanced skyscrapers and shopping districts. Along the way, we toured the financial district, the waterfront, Chinatown, Little India, stopped at the Maxwell Center for an authentic Singapore lunch, and generally enjoyed ourselves all day. Su Ling has a wealth of knowledge and is incredibly friendly and creative. We truly enjoyed our time with her, and we know you will too.

Great way to see the city! Richard is a wealth of information and a fantastic guide. He was open to accommodating my interest and needs, and did a great job explaining things multiple time to help bring it all together at the end.
I saw more in 4 hours with Richard than I would have on my own, highly recommend spending the money to have a guide.

Our guide, Gee Soo, actually led our school group tour for an entire week, and it was INCREDIBLE! We did all the activities, including walking tours, bike ride exploring Singapore, Sentosa Island, hawker centres and the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari. Gee Soo was energetic, patient, flexible and highly knowledgeable. This helped create an amazing and authentic Singapore experience for the students. Highly recommend Hello Tours - especially Gee Soo! (But also thank you to Stefan and Pam for their guidance too!)

We will visit Singapore for the first time, February b1-3, 2020 and want to see as much as possible during this short period. Below are sights we want to see-
Sunday Feb 2, 2020- We would like to take a morning tour of Singapore, from 930 am-2pm, including a lunch in Chinatown, to see major sights.
Saturday Feb 3, 2020- We want to have an ethnic lunch around 1, take a tour from 2-7 pm and then have dinner before we fly back to New York City on Singapore Air at 11:50pm that evening.
We definitely want to see the Botanic Gardens/National Orchid garden, major historic, architectural and artistic sights, the Civic Center sights, the Marina Bay Front Promenade Skyline, Merlion Park, Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, take a Bumboat, go to Clarke Quay, drive up to Fort Canning Hill overlooking the Singapore River, visit Chinatown, take a scenic drive passing through the Public housing Estates and up market properties/the East Coast and Chang I, including Kampong Glam, Tampines New town, Changi Beach and Village, visit Little India and Arab Street, take the Singapore Flyer and drive up to Mt Faber for the views.
Do you like these suggestions or do you have other ideas for us to do these 2 days?
Are you available to drive and guide us Feb 2 and Feb 3, 2020? How much would you charge?
Thanks so much!!

So we are arriving from the US via Hong Kong at 1PM Singapore time on April 8th. (We will have stayed in HK from 4/4 to 4/8. We are leaving for a cruise the next morning 4/9. We have already booked the Nighttime Safari at 8:15. We will be staying at the JW Marriott Hotel South Beach. There are two of us. So I was thinking that we could get picked up at our hotel at 4 PM (giving us enough time to check in) for a walking tour if that would be best at that time and dropped off at the safari at 8. THEN picked up when it is over (10PM?), taken to one of those famous curb side dinner kiosks and dropped back to the hotel at 12 midnight. Would that be feasible? 8 hours obviously. The tour guide would wait for us while we do the safari. Is this reasonable. Is the walking tour the reasonable choice - sunset is at 7:15?
