- tanias210 contributionsGreat tour experience in Jakarta with Annisa and Hendi!I enjoyed a great day touring around Jakarta with Annisa! She was very friendly and knowledgeable, and provided interesting information about the history and culture of the area. It was fun to try the batik workshop and view the beautiful designs in the museum. As a solo traveler it was also nice that she took some great photos for me. Our driver, Hendi, was safe and courteous, and he patiently waited for us at each stop. The car was clean and comfortable to relax and enjoy the sites between destinations. We enjoyed a tasty, local lunch together before being dropped off back at my hotel. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, sharing so much interesting information about the city’s history and culture. Agus took me to some fantastic spots for photos and even captured some great pictures of me. Our driver, Ali, was also excellent—driving us safely to each location and patiently waiting while we explored. To top it all off, Agus and Ali surprised me with a lovely coffee bag as a gift. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Jakarta with a fantastic team!” Thank you so much Agus and Ali for the amazing day 🙏🙏Written 10 September 2024

- JiriPik0 contributionsA Perfect day: Bandung Volcano, Luwak Coffee, Hot Spring bathing, Tea Plantation, and Fruits Market with LunchThe private tour with the superb guide Mr Rezky to Bandung Volcano, Luwak Coffee Plantation, Hot Spring bathing, Tea Plantation, and Fruits Market was positively unforgettable. We talked non-stop with Rezky about Indonesia, its latest positive economic developments, the sights and how these all fit into the bigger picture and thanks to him I am far more knowledgeable about Indonesia, its culture and economic situation. The entire tour was customizable, he suggested infinite number of options and I am most grateful. One of the best and most knowledgeable guides I have ever met.Written 26 May 2024

- dzakus0 contributionsGreat Day About JakartaThis was a really great day with tour guide Agus, who gave us lots of information as we drove around, including to the mini culture park (which isn't too mini) which also gave us a chance to see developments of an expanding Jakarta. It was interesting to visit all the places, even the quick stop at the Batik shop. The museum was a bit unusual but very interesting and good to learn more of Indonesia's history. The lunch was excellent. The mosque and church were also very good stops.Written 23 March 2024

We were in Jakarta for a weekend and after the Saturday we realised it would be good to have a tour guide for the Sunday around the old town. Our hotel gave us a brochure for this company and so we Whatsapped them at around 10pm on Saturday night asking for a tour the next day.. which we knew was a long shot. But the customer service team (especially Giscard) were incredibly responsive and helpful, and created a bespoke tour for us over message for 9am the next day - an incredible turnaround time and excellent service.
The tour itself was with Abraham and driver Robbie. We were picked up from the hotel, did Chinatown and then Old Town and the harbour, then drove back into the main city. Our guide tailored the tour to us, e.g. we didnt want lunch at Cafe Batavia but just drinks, so Abraham organised this and some local snacks for us. Abraham was knowledgable, kind and an excellent tour guide. We had a great half day tour - thank you to the whole team!

We came to Indonesia to learn more about or neighbors in Asia. We decided to book a tour in hopes of learning about Jakarta and Indonesia, and we definitely got what we were looking for.
We had an amazing, and accommodating guide named Asep. We explained that we already toured The National Monument ourselves the prior day, and want to spend more time in The National Museum, and he was more than happy to.
We learned of all the struggles the Indonesian people have been through with all the colonization from many countries and the enduring spirit of the Indonesian people. We also learned of all the different tribes and religions that Indonesia is comprised of. We were also reminded that Homo Erectus is from Indonesia as well as Homo floresiensis (pygmy people of Indonesia).
Walking along the old Dutch town, it was a reminder of what the Dutch brought, good and bad to Indonesia.
After lunch we wanted to see more of the different areas of Jakarta and the different living standards, and Asep was very accommodating again.
We saw so much, and learned so much, even with covid-19, and things being shutdown, Asep and his team moved things around to make it a very enlightening and enjoyable experience.

I'm very pleased with our tour guide Mdm Fitri. Even though we booked our tour itinerary on a short notice(just less than 2 hours before the start), Fitri came to pick us up from our hotel with her driver Bang-Bang on time. Throughout the tour proper, she was patient and was very knowledgeable to answer whatever questions/doubts we had. The Student Intern, Arba at the Museum was very impressive too. We had a wonderful lunch too with a good spread. Overall we had a much thorough insights of the heritage & history of Indonesia 🇮🇩.
Everything was lovely. Thank you!! 😊

A great 5 hour tour of a few key sites around Jakarta. Agus’s spoke good English and was very knowledgeable about Jakarta’s history both recent and the past. It is hard in just 5 hours to see a large city, but Agus did great job giving me a flavour of what the city holds. I can highly recommend.

The National Museum was a great way to get an overview of Jakarta and Indonesia. It was good to do it on Sunday when the traffic wasn’t as busy. The walk through the Chinese market could have been shorter it was difficult to fit everything in a half day. Asap provided good information to our questions but we would have liked more commentary as we drove along. A good lunch but no souvenir.

After arriving at the airport, we had to wait for an hour at the airport train station due to a bad connection, and we were about 15 minutes late for the meeting time of the private tour.
But the tour guide welcomed us very pleasantly and said, "Don't worry about it.
The tour was very fulfilling, and the guide was very enjoyable.
He even honored our request to stop at Cafe Batavia for coffee, which we wanted to do, and we had the best memories ever!

Had a great time with Pak Agus the guide. The driver was also great. Took their private tour beginning of December. The guide really know his stuff and able to speak English very well. You can let him know which part of the itinerary you want more time on and which one to omit and he is able to accommodate but do be reasonable . Love the experience. If ever I want to travel around Jakarta , I will definitely get their service.

Fikri and his driver gave us a very enjoyable day, visiting many interesting sights in central and old jakarta, wrapping it up with a fabulous Padang feast for lunch. We really enjoyed the National Museum, the beautiful Mosque, Batavia and particularly the Makutharama wayang puppet studio, where we met with the puppet master and learned about his 3 generation craft. Fikri was full of interesting information and the transport was managed very well. We thoroughly recommend this tour - good value for such a personal experience. So good to have a private tour and to properly get to know our guide. Thank you Fikri!

We had an incredible night tour of Jakarta that included a visit to the puppet artisan workshop and a surprise puppet show. Isabella, our guide, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Great service from Joy and Rami. Easy airport pick up, and clean, spacious car with air con! First stop the old port, then round the old town where I got some information on Indonesia's colonial past. We stopped at a puppet shop and had a talk about the different types of puppets and a short performance. Then a delicious and filling local lunch, the Cathedral and Mosque. Finished up at the National Monument and was dropped off where I am staying. Fun and friendly tour with excellent communication from the company
