Picked up at the gate and returned all the way through check in. They were awesome and offered excellent TLC. A must have for getting through the airports and to the hotel.

We organised our entire tour through Lady Egypt tours. It was a memorable experience for 8 days travelling from one location in Egypt to another, and enjoying the historical and culinary richness of Egypt. I would particularly like to mention Mr. Ahmed and Ms. Shaimaa who oversaw our tour and all minor details. I would also like to acknowledge our tour guide in Luxor Mr. Mohmmad Abd El Gawad and our tour guide in Cairo Ms. Dua Abdul Quadir Ahmed who made our visit to every temple and museum interesting and informative. I specially wish to mention the Steigenberger Nile Cruises, which were relaxing and offered excellent food.

We were escorted by "body snatchers" to one of the many agents that surround the pyramid complex, after a free cup of tea and a couple of bananas the hard sell began. Some of the prices are ridiculous. In the end we agreed a pony and trap ride around the pyramids stopping at certain locations for poised photographs. The agreed hour long trip was over in 20 minutes and we spent the other 40 minutes fending off the trap driver who was convinced we should pay him!@

I appreciated that the tour was so customizable. We made several adjustments to the base itinerary to see and do what we wanted. The communication we had in the beginning was very clear and prompt, but that person left. With the new person we worked with, it took a long time to get responses and they didn't always answer the questions. There were also issues with making payments (this could happen anywhere, but I've never had this issue with international travel and payments before). The company told us that we would have airport pick up details 2 days beforehand. I didn't end up getting the correct information until I had landed in Egypt which was very hectic. While asking for details about airport pick up, they confused me with other travelers and gave wrong information. When we compared the original itinerary to the final one, they shorted us included meals. The owner did make up for this when we said something. For the meals that were not included, the tour company still took us to specific restaurants. When we asked to pick our own or have choices, it seemed like a bother to them, but they did do it. There were also random people stopping by the hotels to see us which was confusing. Turns out that the tour guides are contractors and the random people are Lady Egypt employees- this could have been better explained. I also would have appreciated a better description of the sleeper train accommodations since it was awful. Knowing what it was, would have changed my mind and asked to fly vs take a train. For the record, I did ask for a detailed itinerary and never got one. Even while on the trip, the itinerary wasn't always clear. The tour guides also took us to extra places like a jewelry store, perfume store, and alabaster factory. We did not ask to go here and it was very gimmicky and a higher pressure sales situation. This was really not appreciated. One of the tour guides kept us a bit protected from street vendors, while the other encouraged them to bother us. I even said we didn't want people bothering us as much, yet he still continued to encourage it. On our last day, there was also poor communication about a pick up delay. We were told we'd be picked up at 7am, then got a message after 7am that it would be 7:20am. They didn't arrive until 7:50am with no further communication. The company advertised 5 star hotels. One hotel was only 3 stars per Google and the others were not 5 stars based on US standards. There were far nicer hotels in the area. The Cairo hotel was far from everything so once we were dropped off, we were stuck there. The hotel in Aswan had the water shut off and then turn brown and the electricity went out. Per the hotel staff, this happens often. For the price we paid, I would expect better quality. For the tour, entrance fees to all sites were included. However, at a few sites, the tour guide made us pay for the tickets with a credit card and then gave us Egyptian pounds. A heads up that this would happen would have been nice since I would have exchanged less money. Based on the extra cash I got from this, I was then stuck with more EGP I couldn't exchange back, so the trip cost more than it should have. I have used several other tour companies and have never encountered this amount of issues. Overall, if you want more detail, structure, better communication and professionalism, I'd strongly look elsewhere. I personally would not book with them again.

I had come across Lady Egypt after watching a few video reviews of a trip to Egypt and Lady Egypt had managed a bespoke trip. The experience we had exceeded expectations, the patience between the head office and me with regard the itinerary made this very easy and showed the flexibility that they give. Upon arrival we met the absolutely wonderful Nadeem, a lovely human being and a great host and organiser for us, calm and very empathic to our needs. Made this short trip a joy. All Hotels arranged for us, they were all 5 star, as was our term transport including flights to Luxor. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and well chosen for us. Drivers very safe, especially valuable in Cairo. It's a great Country to visit, if you are travelling and want to be minded, I can't recommend them enough. Thank you Nadeem. G&L

We booked this trip with Premium Care in 2022, we cancelled the trip within the cancellation period . No money received.

Firstly, the booking process was effortless, very responsive customer service team. During the tour itself, I was impressed by the expertise and the knowledge of the guides. I can’t wait to book my next adventure with them!

I booked a custom 7 day tour with Lady Egypt. It was easy to communicate with them and enjoyed that they took care of organizing the trip for us. We surprisingly had a tour for the 2 of us making it seem like we paid for a private tour. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was that the sales manager (Bassem Azmy) booked the wrong scuba diving company when we were in Hurghada. I provided him with the website of the dive company I wanted and he got the wrong company to take us. It really ruined our trip.

I booked the "Egypt Express" tour by Encounters Travel where I met Robert, the same Robert that made the same great review I'm going to do. The guide we had for Aswan, Abu Simbel and Luxor was Emad Aiad Sobhy, who was absolutely terrific. His incredible knowledge and his ability to explain things clearly with his good humor and passion for the subject, made a thoroughly memorable tour. Highly recommended and thanks again for everything Emad!!!

I have been to Egypt before and was looking forward to doing a lovely private tour with my husband and his parents. Unfortunately, Lady Egypt's planning left a lot to be desired and hence our trip was one disappointment after another. The only saving grace was our guide, Hussein, who was amazing and did his best to make our trip a memorable one in whatever way he could. 1. For starters, our agent, Sara, was extremely responsive prior to us paying the deposit. After that, I had to send 2-3 emails to get her to answer our questions. 2. I had asked Lady Egypt to book flights for us so that we did not have to waste time doing a road transfer to Abu Simbel. I have a feeling that this fell through the cracks and hence they had to settle for last minute bookings which resulted in us having to catch a 5.30am flight to Aswan, spend 2.5 hours at the Aswan airport and catch a mid-morning flight to Abu Simbel and then catch an early afternoon flight back to Aswan. So all in all we travelled 12 hours (not exaggerating as we woke up at 2.30am and got back to Aswan at 2.30pm), to spend 1 hour 15 minutes at Abu Simbel. What a waste of time. Everyone was exhausted and did not enjoy that day at all. 3. We were looking to head back to Cairo on the 31st from Luxor and wanted Lady Egypt to book us evening tickets. Again, they obviously tried to do a last minute booking so they could only book us a flight at 8.30am or 9.30pm. They opted for the 8.30am flight which meant we lost an entire day in Luxor. We were supposed to do Karnak and Luxor Temple on that day so they squeezed them onto our previous days which meant that we were left running from place to place to try and squeeze everything in. With 3 nights in Luxor we should have been able to do everything at a much more leisurely pace. 4. Lady Egypt's hotel choice in Cairo left a lot to be desired. Steigenberger was one of our worst hotel stays anywhere in the world. We were also not informed by Lady Egypt in advance that there was a compulsory gala dinner which we had to pay separately for and cost USD150 per person. Totally not worth the price. If we had been informed we would have changed the tour around to have spent NYE in Luxor instead. 5. The desert eco camp in the Bahariya Oasis was a total disappointment. I had raised concerns about this when it was suggested to me but was assured that it was a lovely place. It was basic, the room had a horrible smell and the food was quite ordinary. I had also questioned Sara as to why she had allocated 2 nights for the trip and she was insistent that it was better that way because you could see more. But we actually felt like we were just wasting our time and just hanging around doing nothing at the eco camp - this could definitely have been done in one night and we didn't cover any sights that a normal one night camping trip doesn't go to. 6. Tipping was a very irritating component of this trip. We had to keep going to the ATM to get cash to tip every person we met. Lady Egypt should just include a tipping amount in their trip cost for the drivers, tour reps and others so that we only have to tip the guide. There were way too many people involved in this trip (tour leaders in every location, our guide, different drivers every day) and tipping everyone was a real hassle. If it wasn't for our guide Hussein, who went out of his way to make our trip a success, this would have been a very expensive failure.

Don't go with Lady Egypt. You won't get your money back if you cancel. I booked a trip for March 2024 but had to cancel due to the war in the region. I cancelled on Nov. 13, 2023 which was well within the 40 day cancellation period. I have not seen. cent of my deposit. First they ignored me. Then they said that a portion would be remitted "in a few days". Now, they are totally silent in spite of follow ups via e mail.

Had a great time with them. Very patient and helpful representative in making my tailored itinerary. Swift passport control and exit process with Hassan. The tour guide, Noor provided the best recommendations and was very informative. Would highly recommend their service.
