          The tour was amazing!!
This tour was absolutely perfect! I can't say enough how amazing amazing amazing this tour was. My guide, Hatem, was very professional and knowledgeable as well as the driver Mahmoud. From pickup to next day return everything was exceptional. We did Ballon ride, banana island, karnak temple, felucca ride and visited other places. I give this tour 10 stars. Thank you Hatem!!

          Fantastic guide and decent cruise
The highlight of our cruise was our tour guide, Ahmed. To say he knows his stuff is an understatement. He is professional, funny and passionate about all of the sites we visited. He knows them so well and will immediately take you to the best bits (while all the other tour guides are blabbing at the entrances) and then allow free time to wander. The boat was good, although we were put in a room that had a very heavy cigarette smoke smell. It took a lot of complaining before we were moved. Our second room was great though. No smells. Overall though, there were a few interactions with the hotel staff with which I felt the service wasn’t great. The meals were really good all round. Drinks cost extra and were reasonably priced. The pool is an odd shape having a large area covered by about 2cm of water and then a smaller deeper section. But it was still good and a much needed relief from the scorching Egyptian heat.

          Eye-opening tour of Egypt
We booked the 4-day, 3-night Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan with Here Egypt Tours. The itinerary was jam-packed, taking us to Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Edfu Temple, Kom Ombo Temple, the High Dam in Aswan, and Philae. We also paid for add-ons - the morning balloon ride over Luxor, and the day trip to Abu Simbel. All these sites were made meaningful and exciting for us by our tour-guide, Ahmed. Over the course of 4 days, he taught me how truly to see. When we started, I didn’t know much about Egypt’s history and monuments, and the first few temples and tombs were impressive for their sheer vastness and ancientness. Quickly I realised that each one had something unique and precious to teach with distinguished master scenes adorning the walls. I came to understand why some figures were chiseled out of the stone/redacted, to recognize which figures were royal and which were gods, to distinguish between the 22 crowns worn by the royalty, to spot the tell-tale changes in colour which indicate where a site was submerged in sand/water before being excavated, and even to read some of the hieroglyphics. With each site, Ahmed built on our knowledge, repeated and consolidated what we had already learnt, and responded to our questions, often going off-script to tell us (very excitedly) about other features of the site. Overall, the impression I have of Ahmed is that he is someone who really knows his stuff. And who really genuinely cares about it too. As we got to know him better, a real affection developed, and we felt like he was someone we could trust to advocate for us, to guide us with the logistics of getting around Egypt, and to share with us his knowledge and expertise. I suspect we only just scratched the surface of all he had to teach. Touring Egypt in the off-season has its advantages - the sites are quieter, you don’t have to queue, entrance fees are discounted, and tour groups are smaller. But it’s not for the faint-of-heart. Most days you wake up before the crack or dawn and all your touring is complete by lunchtime in order to avoid having to be anywhere un-airconditioned during the heat of the day (most days it got to 43 degrees Celsius). This meant lots of time wallowing in the pool on the sundeck of the boat or watching the Nile slide by through the cabin’s floor-to-ceiling window. Our cruise ship was the Princess Olivia Signature, and seemed to be one of the nicer ones on the water. The food was really high-quality. I’ve never been so thrilled by the variety and freshness of a salad bar - seriously. It took a lot of self-control not to overeat on the Egyptian and more Western dishes, which included soups, breads, salads, pastas, meat, chicken, fish, and desserts. Drinks are not included, and the overly-solicitous wait-staff and barman consistently hustling to upsell you on drinks (even when you’re clearly immersed in conversation with friends) can get a bit annoying. The only negative part of our experience was that we got put in the room at the front of the boat, which smelled horribly of cigarette smoke (probably because it was right next to the captain’s control room). When we complained about it, the manager totally gaslighted us - “that can’t be, this is a non-smoking cruise”, “it must be your fault because you opened the window”, “we will spray some air freshener to make it go away”. It was only after the fourth complaint, when I went to desk and, with regrettable and uncharacteristic aggression, demanded that they give us a different cabin, that we were begrudgingly relocated to a delightful room that smelled constantly of freshly baking bread. Definitely an upgrade. I realise now that, if we had texted Ahmed immediately and told him of our complaint, he would have pulled some strings and fixed the problem with no hassle. I guess the lesson is to let your tourguide be your ally. Also, the daily towel creations were one of my favorite parts. I have included a picture of the elephant!

A tumultuous beginning of an amazing trip
Started off kind of crazy! After they picked me up at the hotel and brought to airport. I went to go check in for my flight and found out that the airline cancel the flight very last minute without a warning to anyone and had no other flights to Luxor that day. Left the tour operator and me scrambling to find another early morning flight to Luxor with a different airline. With a little patience and time they were able to get me on the last morning flight to there. Then came the mad dash from terminal 1 to terminal 3 and just barely beating the final boarding call. But after all that the tour went way beyond my expectation and left amazed by the sites. Salwa, Hatem, Amritsar, Mohamed, and Sayed were all extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make this trip spectacular!

          Unforgettable!!!
My wife and I recently decided to venture to Egypt during one of our many international trips. As traveling is nothing new to us, the majority of the time we decide to plan, manage and handle all of our own itinerary and travel plans. But when we began looking at Egypt, we decided it may be best to book a package deal instead of doing our own thing......and man are we glad we did. The staff and guides that work for Here Egypt Tours and managed our booking where nothing short of phenomenal. Several weeks prior to our trip, Mona began reaching out to us to make sure we had all the necessary details we needed, providing very detailed specifics on the trip, various contacts and so much more. Her attention to detail and true customer service was remarkable. But it didn't stop there, Mona made sure to check in with us on a daily basis during our entire journey to make sure everything was going well and we were enjoying our time. From Day 1 when Mohamed picked us up directly from the airport, our minds were completely put at ease. Mohamed provided us a briefing on what to expect and some tips/feedback for our trip. When we asked about an ATM close to our destination so we would be able to withdraw some Egyptian Pounds, Mohamed made sure he took us to a reputable ATM, he stood by in case we had any issues and was very respectful of our "space". But one of the biggest tips Mohamed gave and we will never forget......When talking to people in Egypt, don't listen to the voice or their tone, look at the eyes as this will tell you everything. In his words.......we all sound mad when we talk so look at our eyes. Our guide while in Giza was Farouk who had an unbelievable amount of knowledge about the pyramids, sphinx and so much more. He was happy to answer any questions we had and ensure that we had time to stop by a couple reputable souvenir shops for some shopping. When we returned back to Giza, we opted to do a day trip up to Alexandria which Farouk was our guide for again. While we were on the cruise and for our several day journey of tours up and down the Nile, I dont think we could have asked for a better guide than Ahmed. Not only did he keep us well informed, but his knowledge was out of this world. If I didn't know better, I would think he lived in the times of the historical Egyptians. We saw so many sites and temples and I don't think there was a single question asked that Ahmed couldn't answer. He was fun to be around, spent time hanging out with us even outside of the tours and made sure daily that things were going well and we were satisfied. We were paired with a small group which allowed us to meet some new people and make new friends along the way as well. But, here is the biggest thing. EVERY step of the way, even as we were being transferred via the Egypt Train Lines, by various drivers/shuttles, etc, this team made sure we knew exactly what was going on, exactly who our contact was and that we had the ability to communicate with them. We never felt like we were unsure of what to do or where "flying blind" during our trip. Between the multiple points of contact we had, the pictures they would send so we knew who to look for all the way down to literally, someone waiting for us the moment we stepped off the train, we felt safe and well taken care of. In fact, I would almost say they went out of their way to make sure we felt so. I would HIGHLY recommend this team to anyone that was planning a trip to Egypt and didn't know where to start. Mona and the team will make sure that you have a worry free trip that you will be over joyed about when its all said and done. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. PS to the Here Egypt Team......my new buddy Sayed needs a nap! And THANK YOU! You made this trip one to definitely remember.

          Exceptional Service and Incredible Experience
I cannot express enough how amazing our experience was with this tour company. From the very beginning, they went above and beyond to ensure that our trip went smoothly. They picked us up early to catch our flight, which was on time. Our guide, Hassan, was incredibly knowledgeable and made our tour of the East and West banks and Valley of the Kings so memorable. George, our driver, was also fantastic. Throughout the entire day, Hatem was kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The best part was when we arrived back at the airport and Hassan was waiting for us with a sign with our names on it. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.

          Luxor and its Treasures
After disembarking the cruise, we spent three days in Luxor, immersing ourselves in its rich history and culture. We descended into the Valley of the Kings, where we marveled at the opulent tombs of ancient pharaohs, including the iconic Tutankhamun. At Dandhera, we admired the well-preserved Temple of Hathor, a testament to the vibrant religious practices of the past. The grand finale came at Karnak Temple, the largest religious structure in the world, where we were captivated by its colossal columns and pharaonic inscriptions.

          Fantastic Tour Experience in Luxor
We booked this tour and received a message from Mohamed, the tour owner, who organized the trip for us. Despite a small hiccup with seating on the plane, Mohamed did a great job of finding 5 seats for us. Our guide, Nader, was very kind and informative, showing us all of Luxor's incredible sights. We are so grateful for the opportunity to visit Luxor on a short vacation, thanks to the wonderful tour organized by Mohamed and guided by Nader. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Luxor!

We had a wonderful time on this tour. There was an issue when we first booked our tour because there was no boat available on the date we selected (because of limited sailings due to covid) so we had to switch around our schedule but the rest of the tour was smooth sailing. Our tour guide Ramzy organized our pickup from our Aswan hotel and was with us throughout the trip. He was kind and very knowledgeable about the different historical sites and helped us throughout the trip. He told us everything we could want to know about the temples we visited and gave us plenty of free time at those sites to wander at our leisure. The cars hired to drive us to various sites were new and clean with great drivers. The boat accommodations were good and the food quality and variety was nice. We would happily sail again with this nile tour.

Mona Rahim was our travel executive from the travel firm. She thought of everything and provided information proactively. At the same time she remained connected on daily basis during out tour to ensure that we did not experience any issues. She was just a message away. This is an exceptional service. The tour guide selected by Mona was Al-Ahmed Mahdy who was assigned as 1-2-1 and was throughout with us. He is very experienced, knowledgeable and very jovial .
I will definitely recommend this tour firm. Thanks

It was a 3 nights at the cruise from Luxor to Aswan with our guide Ahmed, it was a 10/10 experience.
The food at the cruise was great, the staff and the amenities excellent.
I would totally recommend you to have Ahmed as a guide, he was very kind and explained everything in a way that we could understand and following a story from day 1 so you could discover a new part of the story in each site.
The hot air balloon flight was great and a beautiful experience, super smooth and very calm.
We had to go to Hurghada the last day and did not know how to so the staff organised a car service for us.
The cruise was called Le Fayan and it is gorgeous, super new and with beautiful cabins, a pool, spa and gym.
Overall it was an experience to remember and I’m forever grateful to everyone involved.
Thank you Ahmed for making everything an awesome journey and a teaching experience.
        Thanks to all.

Great way to discover all the main sites from Luxor to Abu Simble without having to worry about logistics.
Most appreciable was the egyptologist guide Ahmed, who’s kind, reliable, knowledgeable and fun.
I was also lucky to get on the Nile Serenity boat, which is honestly spotless and very comfortable, with good food and incredible panoramic windows in the bedrooms to gaze at the Nile riverbanks.
Prepare to wake up early (4 am) for the hot air balloon and Abu Simble excursions.
Last tip: clarify beforehand with the guide when the first visit starts on the first day, so that you don’t land in Luxor unnecessarily early.

We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide, Mohamed Elkhady. He is very knowledgeable and catered to meet our expectations of the tour. He goes above and beyond to make your vacation relaxing. On our last day, we managed to squeeze in the Nubian village as well, with the miraculous work of Mohamed Elkhady who worked his magic down to the minute.
I would highly recommend this cruise and definitely request Mohamed as your guide. Here Egypt tours, the booking company, was also easy to communicate with via email or WhatsApp. They checked in on us during the cruise as well. An experience of a lifetime. 👍🏼👍🏼

We enjoyed this excellent tour with our knowledgeable, personable, and attentive guide, Mohamed Mamdouh El Khady! Our every need, concern, and desire, was handled immediately.

However, we were told that the ship was rated 5 stars, but we felt that it was only 3 stars. However, the food choices and quality were truly deserving of 5 stars.

I had a great time on my tour and highly recommend my guide Hany Soliman. I traveled as a solo female and ended up with a family of 4 in the group. We also traveled during post COVID time, so there were not many other tourists and things were operating at 50% capacity.

It was his second tour with this company. He provided great knowledge of all the sights and temples, translate for us, arranged for stops to purchase snacks and water and even helped one of the families in our group buy medicine at the pharmacy.

The program itself is very condensed, especially the 3 night tour. This is set up by the cruise company itself and not the tour company, so nothing can be really done about it. Hany did his best to give us free time to explore the sights ourselves, which I appreciated because I enjoy going at my own pace.

My favorite parts of the program was the hot air balloon ride!

Taking a cruise in the Nile was always in my bucket list. But I was afraid the experience would not be up to my expectations. Luckily, that was not the case at all.

Our trip in the Le Fayan was absolutely incredible. The ship is spotlessly clean, the staff is fantastic, the rooms are comfortable and the food high quality. Also, the top deck is well equipped to relax and enjoy the Nile’s breathtaking views (they truly are what I imagined and more!).

We also toured the main temples and locations between Luxor and Aswan. Ahmed, our guide, was incredible all around. Warm, knowledgeable and always making sure we learned about what we were seeing while allowing time for photos. He also coordinated our trip from Aswan to Hurghada with little anticipation. Overall, we always felt safe and well taken care of with him.

Finally, a word of appreciation for Here Egypt Tours for coordinating the whole trip. Including the cruise, hot air balloon in Luxor and the trip to Abu Simbel.

A fantastic experience I’ll always remember!

PS: We travelled during August (summer). Temperature will be high and make touring the temples a bit uncomfortable at times. But on the flip side, all sights will have less tourists so you will have a more private experience.

The 3 day Nike cruise was wonderful. I particularly enjoyed touring the ancient monuments from Luxor to Aswan. My tour guide was very good. Each evening he shared with us the next day’s agenda and provided expert information about the temples and monuments. I would do it again.
