One of the Worlds must see museums .
This is newly staged and opened ,so forgive if not fully functioning .The exhibits are ranging and wonderful ,staged superbly ,especially the Crocodile Deity Temple ,complete with mummified Crocodile . We were all very excited by the entire experience and we are well travelled and not easily impressed ,so were excited to visit the shop to buy books and support in any way possiblle .Oh no ! The shop is not ooppenn yet ,disappointing indeed . But a good reason to return to Alexandria ,stay at The Metropole ,revisit the wonderful Museums .

          Fabulous customer service
Fabulous customer service. We had multiple tours in EGYPT booked with Ramses tours. Due to the war in Suez Canal our tour was canceled. Ramses tours refunded our money within a few days. I understand the situation at present is very difficult for their business, but still they honored our refund. I will definitely booked through this company again, when we continue our trip. Well done and best wishes.

          Perfect Tour
I had a fantastic time on the tour! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and even added a touch of humor. The detailed exploration made me feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Surprisingly, I hadn't planned on returning to Cairo, but they seamlessly arranged a taxi at the end of the tour, accommodating my schedule perfectly. The overall experience was nothing short of spectacular!

          Alexandria ❤️
I highly recommend. Thanks to Ramssides Tours, my trip to Alexandria was a special holiday I’ll always remember. Youseff and Waleed are highly educated on the history of Egypt and the loveliest people to meet. I took two tours and each was breathtaking and left me with a richer understanding of Egypt and also world history. I felt relaxed and happy throughout 😊

A great tour company to explore the spectacular history and sites of Egypt.
Ramasside tours was everything I could have hoped for and more. I was met before customs in Cairo. The representative then whisked me through after which I was met by my guide Amir who was extremely knowledgeable and efficiently organized all activities and transfers in Cairo. At Luxor, I was met by my guide Hassan, with whom I spent 7 days sailing down the Nile on Jaz Crown Prince. Not only was Hassan also extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian and Greco Roman history, (there was not a question I asked that he could not answer) and tutored me in hieroglyphics, he organized our activities in such a way that at many sites, I was the only one! I had Queen Hatshepsuts temple to myself, as well as several tombs in the Valley of the Queens including the extraordinary tomb of Queen Nefertari. This was a truly remarkable experience. Hassan knew how to time our site visits to perfection! He would tour the sites with me highlighting works of special importance and detailing the history and then always let me wander around by myself to enjoy the temples. With my guides, (and drivers) I was so well taken care of that travelling in Egypt as a solo woman was a breeze. They were very accommodating and were always available if I needed or wanted anything. I would use Ramasside again in a heartbeat.

          Bassam is a Great Guide!
I had a terrific tour with Bassam at the Grand Egyptian Museum - he was personalable, knowledgeable, on time to pick me up and very accommodating with all my picture-taking! He answered many of my questions and really has a passion for what he does. Sometimes tour guides seem jaded or bored, but he is energetic and very thorough in his explanations and that made the experience all the better ! He also gave me advice to visit the Coptic Cairo area which I did separately so I am grateful to him for this tip-it was a nice journey to a place in Cairo I was unfamiliar with. I will send my friends to Bassam !

          Best Egyptian Tour Guide
Best Egyptian tour guide so far! 10/10 for Mohamed! He is knowledgeable and passionate about ancient Egyptian culture. Native to Alexandria but knows the city better than any locals. Definitely book with him if you are into the Egyptian history and culture.

          Perfect two days sightseeing itinerary!
We had a private tour, two days and one night tour that was customized to our specific needs/wants; we came to Egypt on a cruise, thus our time was limited, and Ramses worked with us and delivered! The tour was amazing and Mina was an amazing guide and host; can’t say enough good things about our experience, and have been recommending this company since our return from cruise. Kat Maine, USA

Amazing 2-day overnight shore excursion from Alexandria to Cairo
We had the most amazing trip to Cairo with our guide Mina and Ramses tours. I originally booked this as a private tour for my husband and me, but after chatting with a few other guests that were on our cruise (NCL GEM Istanbul, Greece, Sicily, Egypt, and Rome Nov 22-Dec 4, 2023) we expanded to a group of 10. I chose Ramses tours after reading many very positive reviews. The booking experience was easy - we booked the 2-day tour to Cairo from Alexandria that included Giza, the Sphinx, Sakkara, Memphis and the museum. As add-ons, we chose the camel ride, going inside the pyramid, and a dinner cruise on the Nile. We also choose the upgraded hotel option for our overnight stay and we ended up in a super luxurious Fairmont hotel on the Nile (wow!). Ramses asked for a 40% down payment to hold the booking. When others from our cruise wanted to join, it was easy to add them to our group. One couple ended up cancelling just days before the cruise (many travelers were very nervous about the cruise and the ports we were visiting due to the Israel-Hamas war) and they were fully refunded. We had a lot of angst about this tour as we were not sure if NCL would let us stay overnight off the ship. Once on board, we confirmed that while the cruise company does not recommend this, they can't really stop us as long as we are back on board before they leave port. There was also speculation that the Alexandria port might be cancelled due to the war, and many travelers were very fearful. We could not have had a better experience with Mina and Ramses tours. Our guide Mina was very knowledgeable about Egypt's ancient and more contemporary history. And we asked a LOT of questions. He was also very gracious and accommodating to our requests and needs. On the first day we were met just outside the port. We were given instructions on Whatsapp on how to find the guide and driver and it was easy to find them. We were in very good hands with our driver Mohammed who was calm and professional among the chaos that fills the roads and highways in Egypt. At any given moment you can see huge transport trucks sharing the road with a donkey and cart. And people just cross anywhere. Somehow it all works. The drive from Alexandria to the Giza site is about two and a half hours and Mina used the time to fill us in with all kinds of information. That first sight of the pyramids is breath-taking as you try to believe you are really seeing this with your own eyes! We had ample time to explore the site, look at the ancient marvels, and creep through the long and very narrow passage to the empty chamber inside the pyramid. After this we were able to view the Sphinx and then it was time to ride the camels. I thought we might just get up on the camel and pose for a photo, but it was an actual 15-minute ride through the desert to a plateau where you have an amazing view of the three pyramids. There is only one place where there are officially sanctioned camel rides and our guide helped us navigate the various other offers that came our way. The day included a traditional (and delicious) lunch. At the end we were taken for dinner on a boat on the Nile with a generous buffet, cash bar, entertainment from belly dancers and musicians, and, the night we were there, a spectacular full moon over the Nile. Then we were off to the very posh Fairmont Nile for a comfortable sleep and delicious buffet breakfast. The second day we visited the sites at Sakkara where you find the earliest step pyramid, and then the monuments at Memphis. We were then offered a choice between the Egyptian museum or the newer Museum of Civilization (the newest new museum is not yet open). We opted for the Museum of Civilization and we were so glad we did. This tells the story of Egypt from its earliest known evidence of human civilization 35,000 years ago, to the great ancient Egyption dynasties, the early coptic Church and people, the rise of the Ottoman empire and up to more modern day. The museum houses countless treasures and artifacts and you can venture to the basement and down a long, narrow corridor that resembles the entry to a pyramid tomb to view the mummies of famous pharaohs, including Ramses II and Nefertiri. The mummies are displayed in a way that is dignified, befitting their rank as royalty. As we wanted to get back to the ship in time, we opted for a takeout lunch - a typical and tasty shwarma in pita. We were delivered back to the ship with lots of time to spare by our experienced driver Mohammed. This tour was the highlight of our cruise and trip and we are so glad we chose Ramses Tours and had the incredible Mina to guide us. We highly recommend Ramses Tours to anyone who wishes a terrific day trip or private shore excursion.

          Highlight of our trip
This was the most incredible day of holidays hands down. I have been to Egypt before and so knowing how stressful it can be sometimes for tourists we decided to book a private tour to see the pyramids, sphinx, Memphis & saqqara through Viator & I am so happy we did. We were picked up at 8am by our tour guide Amir & driver and then we headed to see the pyramids, went inside the great pyramid, before moving on to the camel ride at a plateau viewpoint where you could see all of the pyramids, after this we went to see the sphinx & then stopped off for lunch before heading to Saqqara. At every site we went to Amir would take the time to explain all of the history of the area to us and answer all of our questions. If you’re really interested in the history like we were, then I would consider trying to book a private tour if it is in your budget as it allows you to ask everything and get a really good grasp of what you are looking at. Going inside the pyramids was unbelievable, it felt like we were inside the mummy movie. The only thing I would say about this is that you definitely need to have water with you as the pyramid in very very hot on the inside (and we were there in December) and you probably need to have some level of athletic ability as you have to climb upwards at a 45 degree bent over to a height of about just over a metre. One of the best things about this tour is that we didn’t get bothered by anyone at all whilst with Amir, and Amir was able to take photos of us together as a couple - any other couple that travels will know the pain of being somewhere incredible and not being able to get photos together or asking lots of strangers and worrying about losing your phone. The photos from that day are the best of our entire holiday, and the day as a whole was the best day that we have had in Egypt.

Fabulous Tour of Dendera, Abydos, Valley of the Kings - Ramasside were Fantastic
I booked a private tour with Ramasside through Haitham Masoud who was extremely helpful in dealing with all of my queiries and assisted me with all stages of the the booking process. The last 2 days with Ahmed Rahmat-Allah Abo ElWafa for Ramasside have been sensationally good. Ahmed was always on time. I am very pleased with the tours to Dendera, Abydos and the Valley of the Kings and Deir el Medina. I learned so much from Ahmed about each of the sites we visited and the carvings, etc. that we saw. I also learned so much modern Egypt. He was so friendly, spoke very good English, provided me with very good information and advice and was always happy to answer all of my questions. He also gave me lots of free time to roam around the sites and take photos, etc. I would highly recommend Ramasside Tours and Ahmed to anyone. Both were the essence of professionalism.

We had great experience, very affordable and they provided us great services.
We took a Cairo tour package with a Nile Cruise. We were met at the airport by our tour leader Moh. I can say nothing but nice things about him. He was on time. He was very knowledgeable, easy to understand and spoke great English, he did everything that he could and accommodated us.

It was a fantastic experience and everything was taken care of as promised. All members of the group were courteous, timely, genuine and very helping. Services including the choice of hotels, cruise, cars were of high quality. Their team was also very flexible to change programs as per our needs and desires.

I would absolutely recommend Ramasside Tours to anyone considering traveling to Egypt.
