- Liliana F0 contributionsHalf Day Tour Historic CairoWe enjoyed our Cairo half day tour today with Ahmed and Mina exploring the Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, camel ride, shopping and lunch. Ahmed is extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history and culture and Mina was a safe driver & professional photographer. They let us go at our own pace, answered any and all questions, had all the connections to get around this busy area and were a joy to be with. We did so much in a half day and highly recommend this tour with them!Written 25 November 2024
- naulvaldez0 contributionsPrivate Half-Day Tour of the Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, and Camel RidesWe recently booked a private half-day tour that included the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, camel rides, and stops at a souvenir shop, a papyrus museum, and an essential oils shop. From start to finish, this tour exceeded our expectations, thanks to the outstanding team of Ahmed, our tour guide, and Mina, our driver. Ahmed was an absolute wealth of knowledge when it came to Egyptian history. His passion for the subject was evident in every story and detail he shared about the ancient wonders we visited. He answered all of our questions with patience and enthusiasm, making the experience not just a sightseeing trip but a deep dive into Egypt's rich past. Mina was a fantastic driver and a hidden gem when it came to photography. His talent for capturing action shots and adding fun effects to photos added a unique touch to the day. He even managed to get us perfect "jumping" photos with the pyramids in the background—a memorable keepsake we’ll treasure. The camel ride was another highlight of the trip. It offered a different perspective of the pyramids and was surprisingly comfortable thanks to Ahmed’s careful planning. Both Ahmed and Mina ensured we felt safe and taken care of throughout the experience. While the shopping stops at the souvenir shop, papyrus museum, and essential oils shop were pleasant, we were never pressured to buy anything, which was a relief. Each stop gave us an opportunity to learn more about Egyptian culture and crafts. Although lunch was included in the itinerary, my wife and I were too exhausted after a long travel day and decided to return to our hotel early to rest. Ahmed and Mina were incredibly understanding and made the transition back to the hotel seamless. Overall, this tour was a perfect introduction to Egypt, combining history, adventure, and a personal touch. Ahmed and Mina went above and beyond to make the day special, and we can’t recommend them enough!Written 25 November 2024

Our tour guide, Ahmed Gaber, was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, making the day even more memorable. We also had a wonderful driver, Mahmoud, who was equally patient and friendly. He picked us up alongside Ahmed and transported us to the pyramids and other nearby sites, waiting for us at each stop. One of the highlights was the thrilling camel ride. The camel guide was not only excellent at his job but also a fantastic photographer! He even gave us the chance to control the camels ourselves, which was an exciting and unforgettable experience.Written 23 November 2024

Me and my husband had an amazing experience with our tour guide Mr Mustafa. He took us to visit king Titis tomb and the step pyrimids. The tour included water and a very delecious lunch! We then went onto visit two different musseums on our way to the quad bikes. We learnt how the first ever hand made paper was made and also how to make hand made carpets, very interesting to see how the culture still continues to shine through thousands of years with many locals making carpets and paper by hand.
We rode the quads for an hour and half, the quads were not in the best conditions but they still did the job! Was thrilling to be able to drive through the sandy desert and around the breathtaking pyrimids. Tour guides were great in showing us the best tracks and routes and even took us to a traditional hutt in the desert were we met some locals and enjoyed some beverages whilst overlooking the beautiful pyrimids.
This trip has honestly been one of the best experiences me and my husband have had togeather and we will always remember it! I highly recommed doing this trip, ask for Mr Mustafa he is the best tour guide ive came across, very experienced and kind.

To say the adventure was amazing is an understatement. Our tour guide/ friend was great. He spoke great English and made sure we were well taken care of. His knowledge of the history and culture was awesome. He didn’t push us to do anything we didn’t desire and he kept the Gypsies at bay. He took wonderful photos and just made the day very calming and full of fun. I will definitely look him up on my next visit in hopes that he is still available. Great time!! We left his picture below!
