Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh
I have come to the conclusion that if you’re going to travel from 1 large city to another, you’ve better fly. Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh took 7 hours by mini bus. 3 hours longer than advertised which makes it 32 km/hour The roads are not in a good state and consist of 1 lane. On another trip from Phnom Penh to Battambang, our driver was struggling driving while dealing with his 2 mobiles phones Good luck to anyone who travel by roads

They didn't arrive
We booked a VIP sleeping bus from Hanoi to Sapa and back (roundtrip). On the way from Sapa we recieved a mail on the day before the ride that the ride is cancelled, we were stuck in Sapa because all the other companies were fully-booked Won't recommend this unreliable company for sure

DO NOT USE!
I booked a bus trip from SaPa to the Noi Bai airport to catch a flight, I asked three people before boarding the bus that it would take me to the airport and they all said yes. The driver passed the airport and nobody understood or spoke English so they just shrugged when I told them I needed to catch a flight. They then told me to catch a cab on my own and pay for it, I told them they should, so they stuck me on the back of a motorbike that raced for a half hour through traffic to catch up to the airport bus. I told Bookaway, they said that I made it to the airport and this matter was closed. i asked for a refund and i never heard from them again. Do not use this company!

Ferry Transport in Greece, Fast ferry, Sea Jets
We just got back from Greece and here is what you need to know about Ferries. From Athen to Mykonos we used "Fast Ferries", go to their website directly to buy your tickets, it will be a lot cheaper. Definitely buy the VIP ticketS, The difference in price is not much and it totally worth it! Nice seat, nice bar and the ferry itself was fun. It takes longer that they say so about 3 hours, they have snack and drink for purchase for a very good price. There is a little shop/restaurant at the port in Athens that you can have breakfast and coffee while waiting for your ferry. Mykonos to Santorini we use Sea JETS, got tickets from "ferry hopper" website which had the best pricing. It took us around 3 hours to get to Santorini, again upgrade to VIP because the seat are nicer. We like Fast Ferries more that SEA JETS. it was Chaotic to get on and off the boat port and very crowded. It can be an interesting experience if you take it with patience and good attitude. From Santorini back to Athen we used VOLTEA airline which was a NIGHTMARE. everything from the airport to staff was awful, flight was delayed and because airport is too small people were just seating on the floor. Also VOLTEA has their own size for allowing carry on which is smaller than the other airline, We had to pay 120 euro to check in our carry on. TAKE THE FERRY AND DON'T FLY!

Poor service and dangerous driving driver
Never experience this kind of poor service. First, we’ve booked 2 seat and 1 extra seat for our 2 luggage’s but driver ask to pay 1 more seat for the other luggage. The way he talk is too rude and not friendly. Second, the van is too old and Aircon doesn’t work. There are too many stop for pickup and alight places belong the way. Last, the driver always talking/texting the belong the highway. It was too dangerous! Recommend all travelers to take bus if you travel from Bangkok - HuaHin - Bangkok.

Getting to Siem Reap and back
By far the most convenient way to get to Siem Reap from Phnom Penh is by bus. THere are two excellent choices (I did Mekong going, Giant Ibis returning): comfortable, water and snack provided, half hour stop for lunch break plus a brief rest stop. I would give a slight edge to Giant Ibis, but they're pretty much the same, and either is only around $15! They pick you up at the hotel where you're staying, very convenient.

Trouble with booking - excelent service
We had some trouble with our original booking ie. the company An Phu travel, that we booked via bookaway. Bookaway resolved the matter in a couple of days and refunded the whole amount we had paid. Excelent service!

WORST ferry I’ve ever been on!
I traveled from Corfu to Bari in July 2019. This ferry is a complete joke! You don’t receive any information anywhere that this is a cash only ferry (not here on tripadvisor either). So if you only have credit card, you will be hungry for the next 10 hours. I spent my last cash (17 euros) on a meal that was horrible! I got a piece of plastic in my salad and wanted a refund because I had barely had any of it and was not keen on it anymore. Was rejected. All staff on the ferry I talked to was extremely rude, did not look me in the eyes and were looking at their phone or computer or just ignoring me completely. WiFi service is 5 euros for 3 hours. But again, if you don’t have cash...so I never tried it. I will NEVER travel with this company again. I would use the Superfast Anek ferry which I went to Corfu with. The service there was impeccable and they have ATMs AND take credit cards.

Tourture
I took an overnight sleeper bus from Chiang Mai, Thailand to Luang Prabang, Laos. The trip was booked through Bookaway which is an American company. I wondered if they even knew how bad the trip can be. We took a crowded van from Chiang Mai to the border, 8 hours away. Then we had huge adventures trying to complete and pay for our visas. The overnight part was terrible. Just a 4 ft by 6ft thin mattress shared by two people. The ride was bumpy and rough with a winding mountainous road. Never again!
